      You just happen to call one twisted.
      You could say the owner of every business and the head manager of any business use people for their own personal agenda also.
      This movie does not show what Cameron would really do for Derek and he didnt have to sit there rooting for him when he was playing basketball either.
      Some racist people do have empathy for their own race or religion or whatever the fuck and care much less about humans outside of that.
      A christian pastor as an example David could be a Kind patient understanding Teacher with enormous empathy who cares for you while still trying to use you to put his beliefs on you. Would you call that type of person a snake?
      Stop being so biased David.

    The one thing that I love about this scene is Derek's genuine care for his brother, his blood. He even makes Cam

    Stacy Keach doesn’t get the credit he deserves for this role, man. He played imposing elements of Cam perfectly and the subtle, manipulative elements just as well. The head of a skinhead organization has gotta be a difficult role to play…it’d be really easy to overdo and descend into cartoonishness

    • @monkeydude9192
      @monkeydude9192 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      Key to any role is empathy; a performance can become cartoonish anytime an actor chooses to depict their perspective of a character, rather than the character's perspective of itself. Everyone is the hero of their own story, so the right way to play the role of Cam for this particular movie isn't as a villian but a savior, regardless of how reprehensible he is.
