Thanks. I’ve been testing all the modes and I’ve decided to go back to 4K/30fps with the audio disabled (as its pretty poor anyway). As long as you’re using them in a situation where you are still and focusing on something in particular that is static then the results are quite good.
I bought a pair of OHO Sunshine Camera glasses and made several test videos where the definition is good but there is no audio. Although Amazon say there is Audio, the manual clearly states "VIDEO ONLY". I've tried various video players and can confirm that whatever is said in the Amazon blurb, THERE IS DEFINITELY NO AUDIO. I've emailed the manufacturers but received no reply, so I'm returning them to Amazon.
That’s unusual if yours says in the manual that its video only. You must have a different model to mine then, as mine definitely has audio. On mine you can enable/disable audio in the configuration file. The audio isn’t very good anyway though, so I disable it.
@@leedfollow Action camera stabilisation would be better but I don't think they can squeeze it into small glasses just yet so post stabilisation is the only option if you want to smooth out your footage. I hear that Google Photo has some decent post stabilisation options as well as Davinci Resolve which has a free version I believe.
the clear lenses work well if you are out in the dark. it would look silly wearing sunglasses when the sun is down. I have a pair some something like these I just got and recording at night is decent as long as there are street lamps. so the clear lenses would work well
The tech is improving so much, I remember getting some 1080p glasses when I had my first car and it was good, in fact, less than £20 from eBay I doubt it was 1080p Anyway, it's certainly good but, I think I'll stick to the NextBase Dashcams Edit: I will also say, they look like amazing Sunglasses, I wouldn't suspect a thing, they look amazing just as sunglasses, the ones I had were pretty bulky, this was around 2012
They’re my second pair actually. First pair were advertised as 1080p but the video quality was shocking! These are a massive jump forward in quality (and unfortunately price too!).
I could be wrong, but I'm betting there is no way that you grabbed audio from that lav mic on your shirt. Sounds like it's the camera's mic in the car that's filming you grabbing sound.

In the config file set the show timestamp option to N and then the first update config option to Y. Unplug the glasses from your computer then power them on. That saves the change.
Yep thats the one. Every time you enable/disable/change one of the settings in the config file you set the first update config settings to Y so that when the device is next powered/connected it knows to update its config. It then resets the update config option to N.
Sure, as long as you have a method of reading files off USB with your iPad. I know they do lightning usb adapters. So I think you could use one of those to plug the glasses straight into your iPad.

Most video editing software has video stabilization features that you can use to stabilize in post.
Indeed, but generally its rubbish. Better to have in-device stabilisation.

@PINACI i’ll just be waiting for the hardware to move with the times. There are glasses coming in the near future with built in stabilisation

In the video I explained the mic situation. Audio was from mic on my shirt.
The massive downside the Ray Bans is the forward-facing LED which cannot be disabled

It can be disabled, It's all over TH-cam how to easily do it. The downside for me with the Raybans is that they only record in vertical.

Thanks. No you cant as there are no speakers. They are for recording only and there is no playback option.
How do you change the resolution
There is a config text file inside the drive which you can edit many settings in once connected to your computer.
