I have own the Bose for over a year. One of my favorite features is how to turn them off quickly without using the power button. Just take them off your head and flip them upside down on your desk (or in your hand) and within 2 seconds, it will power down automatically. This has been great! I do have to say that they were pretty tight for my head at first, but over time, about 2 months, they stretched out just enough to conform to my demensions.
I have a fat head so they're still a bit tight for me but I also love them. I will say that power off option is slower than just pressing and holding the power button, and doesn't render prescription users blind lol
I’ve had Bose for a while, there not too bad, but they do have a few issues. The main one for me is the hinges. The pin that hold them together tends to slip out rather often. I often had to push them back into place every few days. The audio is reasonably good, but the glasses themselves are poorly made.
I'm considering a Lucyd frame as my presciption. My concern for them is longevity. I make my specs last for years if I can and preferably I'd like to here
I have the Amazon frames as I am a big Alexa user. However, I was blown away by how much better the sound is with the Bose frames. None of the other come anywhere close.
If i had to pick one it would probably be Rayban just because it provides more features like the camera, but not sure im ready yet to jump into that yet.
I wish to see new feature of smart glasses with Cam that can utilize AI to translate the hand moves of " deaf mute " person and I hope technicians build a glossary for each " deaf mute " language in the world I hope also that the proper " deaf mute " glossary can be selected by user.
These are 1st or 2nd generation glasses at best. Wait another year and the quality and pricing will be much better. Obviously, the Bose, being a sound company sound better but none of these models seemed to have noise cancelation to mute the wind effects. I am surprised that only the Ray-Ban model offered a camera. I would think something like Google glass would be widely available by now. The Chinese need to get working on that.
razer were fantastic for the 3 days they worked, that makes the tally 3 diff mice 1 headphone and glasses that razer makes that died within 6 months of purchase all the way down to 3 days now
@sparkdrive2900 I actually bought them for myself to try them as I was considering the Ray Ban Metas. I actually like them. I ended up ordering a pair for my entire family for Christmas and upgraded myself to the Metas and have my prescription lenses in them. My so is going to get his prescription in his Razers.
If you're going to use it for sunglasses, it probably wouldn't stand out in comparison. Oakley's tend to have largen hinges that some people like. Sound is definitely the best, but the trade-off is the look
I don't get it. What makes these glasses smart? These are just mini speakers with glasses on them. Even then, Jlabs already does that where you can just clip a speaker onto any glasses. I had expected something like AR integration or at least aid people with disabilities.
For me it's any that I can get prescription lenses in that look like normal glasses rather than sun glasses. I love my SoundCore Frames but I've been wearing them every day for years now and they are wearing out but they stopped making them 🙁
@@gantz4u okay random attack weird. Some of these glasses come integrated with an AI assistant of sorts (Ray-Bans have a camera). That's it. Worldwide no one has yet exceed this kind of innovation short of a VR and AR glasses. And if you know of a few that does, pls share it. And "smart device" is an relative term so speakers count

Nah give it time. The bose ones are a good open ear bluetooth speaker tho

Real great idea tbh
That’s from the Marvel Echo tv show!

It's mostly because only the ray ban are actually trying to be smart glasses. The rest just want to be speakers
Unfortunately bose has already said they aren't making another set.
Ray-Ban stories has one camera only. The other one is an indicator light only.

For the price i might get the Razers for my kids for Christmas lol
Did you get it for christmass? May we know how it performed?

Good work! Thank you 🙏
I was looking at Lucvd, but now i think bose 🤔
The bose is bulky
If you haven’t bought yet you can get Lucyd for 89$ right now

BOSE IS THE WINNER IN TERMS OF SOUND , BY FAR

i rock the ray bans, i like the video feature, i post to my insta
Soundcore made the best ones
Yeah I was gutted when they stopped making them as I used them with prescription lenses every single day
Razer has no volume control. Deal killer. Don't buy.
What smart glasses do you use?
Its $40 vs $200+ it's a steal. I'm using the razer anzus rn lol

putting a speaker into normal glasses is not smart glasses. Sorry America. Get better soon.
