I apologize for not showing exactly how to transfer photos to your cell phone. Dear Sir, That tutorial was phenomenal. I just got these glasses today at a thrift store here in my hometown (Pakistan). I had no clue how to use it, as it did not come with a manual. This tutorial taught me everything I needed to know. I don't know if anyone has told you this or not but you are a really good teacher. I wish you much more success.
excellent video. i just received mine today and watched your video to learn how to use them, then a bird flew into our house and i recorded my wife and i catching and releasing it pov wearing the glasses!
this is one of the best video - yes its longer than the quick reviews but the info is helpful and clear and detailed. thank you for taking time to create this
Thank you Bob, Your video saved me. Turning that first line from N to Y is what allowed me to have audio. By the way, there is another line in the config file that pertains to Audio Y/N. That was the problem I was having (no Audio). Thanks again Bob.
I am assuming you are thanking Bob because he helped with the purchase, so yes indeed - Thank you Bob for that. It is good to know that there is at least one of these that has an actual audio option in the settings text file :). And - Thank you for your comment and thoughts, much appreciated. 👍
@@Outside-In. I just finished editing my latest video where I thanked bob lol. but I think I cleaned it up and put you guys in the comments. thanks again.
At one point, the pivothead video glasses were the only ones worth buying. The OhO so far seem to be good as long as you use a high framerate. I have found 108060 to be the best mid range setting.30 is too choppy. Let's face it. 4K is going to suck up a lot of space quickly. 50fps generally only applies to pal video system so I don't know why yours has that option. I just wish they had made the double click for photo and single for start and stop record. I have used a lot of rubbish over the years as well but these seem to be very good. You have made a very good detailed video.
Thank you for your comment and thoughts, much appreciated. I agree that 1080P 50 would be the better option. 4k is not real in these so no need to use it as it would just use too much space like you say. These are very good for the price and pretty decent quality video. 👍
Steven, that was the review I was looking and I asked the right person. You covered everything! I have ordered them from Amazon and want to thank you for a great video review of camera glasses. You stay healthy & safe, my friend. Oh, and thanks for the plug. Now all I have to do is create some videos😢. I consider camera glasses to be a tool in the safety toolbox and hope to have some reviews in the near future.
Thank you Rob, and am glad it helped. I thought I was over this flu, but now today, I started having no taste and also lost the ability to smell, so I guess it is not over... A friend told me it will probably take at least two weeks for the flu to run it's course, so that means at least another week. I went out into the rain today, which probably was not a good idea either LOL... Thanks again Rob for your part in helping to pay for these glasses for the review. I know the video was a bit long, but just wanted to be sure I covered everything, and plus this was the first time tackling something like this. It was a fun video to do however, and am very glad that you suggested it. 👍
Thank you Tony for the comment and question. There is a link in the description for the glasses, but I will add one here also. A super huge thanks to Bob Rooney (youtube.com/@TheStaySafeChannel?si=ZHg61F5JcwVomQwZ) for donating part of the cost of these glasses that made this video possible. I do hope that this video is helpful to anyone that may be looking for a decent pair of video glasses at a more budget friendly price. I absolutely love these sunglasses for their quality in video ability, and the sound capture is also very very good for the price. If you have an idea for a product that you would like for me to review, please ask and I will do my best to create a video for you.
Is there any difference in the models apart from Wi-Fi in the 4K model? Do the "4K" glasses actually record higher than the 2880 x 1620p that the 1080p model of the glasses can do? Does the most expensive model give a longer battery life than the 1080p (1620p) model which only gives 1 hour? Is there any difference in the models apart from "Wi-Fi" in the 4K model? If you get the sunglasses then are you supposed to also get a set of clear lenses included in any Oho Sunshine model or do you only get those lenses with the 4K model? Is there a way to buy clear lenses as I never got any with the "1080p" Oho Sunshine model I bought I bought on Amazon.
I do not know about the 4K glasses. About getting the clear lenses with which model, I do not know that either. I purchased the 1080p - Black Frames - 128GB version. Maybe the more capacity glasses come with the clear lenses, I do not know. The description for mine did not even show clear lenses, so was surprised to find them in the box. I have tried to contact customer support for answers to questions, but have gotten no response from them. Maybe that is one of the downsides of buying inexpensive - I don't know that either - just a guess LOL. Sounds like we are all in the same boat, we just have to cross our fingers, buy it, and see what comes, but that actually sounds like a gamble to me... When I purchased mine, I just thought that if they were no good, I would just return them, but they are great. This is a link to the OHO sunshine store for the lenses - just make sure you choose the right model in the list of options before purchasing. www.amazon.com/Polarized-Smoke-Light-Blocking-Model/dp/B093WRWMHW?ref_=ast_sto_dp
Great vid! Please help- i bought the 1080p version that was cheaper than the 4k version. but i noticed i have the option configure to higher res on my file. Confige file on tbese looks idntical to the 4k file i believe. What would happen if i went higher than 1080 on the "non 4k" model
If you watch the video, you will see that nothing would happen. My 1080p glasses go up to 2k I believe in the config file, and when I set it to the highest resolution, it recorded at that size, so it probably just stretched it, but still looks good. All you can do is try. Thanks for the question - much appreciated
@@countybeesters I meant too, but I think I did forget to mention it. Mine (on a full charge) recorded for 1 hour and 20 minutes, but fortunately, you can use a charging cable with these glasses while wearing them to get much more record time using an external power source such as a power bank. Hope this helps.
@@countybeesters I set mine to the highest it allowed in the config file (I think 2k), and it works great, so I am leaving it there. I do believe I can tell a bit better quality at the highest setting, so why I am just leaving it at the highest setting. The 1080P setting looks very good, but it just depends on what you want to use.
Is it easy to upload to iPhone 15 the video files and can you film in horizontal and vertical mode? When u upload the file or do you just have to change the orientation when editing? And can you save the files on your phone and does the 4K version of audio as well as video
Thank you for the questions, and I will try to answer them in the order asked... Q- "Is it easy to upload to iPhone 15 the video files?": A- It should be as long as you use the appropriate usb cable. I do not own a Apple phone so I do not have any experience with that. Q- "can you film in horizontal and vertical mode? When u upload the file or do you just have to change the orientation when editing?": A- These glasses record video just like a sports camera in horizontal mode (also called landscape mode). It records video in a 16:9 ratio and you would have to change that in editing. To get a vertical orientation, you would have to crop the video in post for that effect. Q- "can you save the files on your phone?": A- Yes, all you have to do is to upload/transfer the files to your phone. Q- "does the 4K version of audio as well as video?": A- I cannot answer any questions about the 4k version because I do not own the 4k version, but I would assume that - yes the 4k version should record audio as well as video.

I have seen comments on Amazon that say the 1080P UHD glasses I reviewed in this video are hard to tell apart from the 4K version and not to waste the money, but I simply don't know for sure, because I cannot afford to do a comparison video of them. I can only go by what I have read. I don't know about the battery life for the more expensive ones either, as I cannot afford to purchase the more expensive glasses. I would not want to give information on a hunch, as that would not be fair to anyone. Interesting about the clear lenses, mine came with them, so not sure why yours did not. I would say to contact the seller, but people are saying that customer support sucks, and I am still waiting to hear back from them myself after sending a message to them more than a month ago, so it is unfortunate that they sell great glasses but do no selling of their customer support... I would like to give better and more helpful information, but if I speculate, I would do more harm than good. I do the best I can, but these videos cost a lot of money to make, and so far I am getting no help, so I am very limited on what I can do - hope you understand. 👍
If you look at the power button, there is a tiny hole beside it. That is the reset button. Try using a needle to press the reset button, and reconnect the glasses. Make sure you are using the cable that came with the glasses to communicate with the glasses. Try using a cell phone to connect to the glasses to see if that works, and if it does, it is a problem with your computer. You may also try restarting your computer system, - there may be a conflict in your system files, and a restart should correct that. The manual shows where the reset button is, but it says nothing about using it or how to use it. I am assuming that you just press the reset button to fix a communication problem. Let us know if you have any luck with these steps.
Inside the Glasses is a standard MicroSD Card if You buy the lowest capacity Glasses You can open them up and swap to a Higher Capacity MicroSD Card. Just make sure to copy the config.txt file over to the new Card.
Great information - and thanks so much for sharing that with us. Copying the config file over the to new card is also a great idea. Also, keeping a copy of the config file on a computer system is a great idea, in case the file on the glasses gets corrupted. 👍
The Logo String lets you enter a text string that will be put on the video above the date and time on the right, you just enter the text to the left of [Logo String]. Just replace 'NULL' with the string and make sure you change Update Configuration to 'Y'
Thanks for the information. I tried that before but nothing showed up on the video, so that was why I was wondering what it was for. Maybe there is just something wrong with my glasses making it not work.
You are going to love these. I used them in my latest video with my truck repair, and they worked great for a first person view. Awesome glasses and camera for sure. 😎
Just found your video and bought a pair of the “4K” on sale the 32GB was $35 for me(limited time sale I saw right after watching your video and took the chance. Gonna test the 4K capability when I have free time. The footage from inside my apartment seemed fine despite the low light. These things RULE!
Thanks for your experience, glad to see it is not just mine that are pretty cool for video. Let us know how the 4k works - I might be interested in getting a pair to test if they are any good... Wow - 35 for 4k crazy... Thanks again for your insight - much appreciated. 👍
Thanks a lot 👍 As I've seen you have mp4 videos in your folder. So, how do you open these file, what programme do you use? Because I can't watch the video. Thanks again 👍
I mostly use Media Player Classic, but I also use VLC, and have been for years. The only problem that I run into is when I put the files into Premiere Pro, they don't play except for audio only. I have to use Handbrake to re-compress them before I can use them in Premiere Pro, so you might want to try that if your player won't play them. The software in the glasses much use a codec that is not on most computers in the US - that is the only thing I can assume... Hope this helps.
I would assume you could stream anything as long as you had the service to do it. I have never had a need for a streaming service, so am not absolutely sure.
Hi, great review. However, for some reason sometimes when I want to record, both the blue and the red light flashes and it only records for 5-6 mins before only recording short clips. What would you recommend to do? And are the support team responsive?
Thank you Sherlock Holmes for the question. Make sure there are no incorrect settings in the configuration file (no added spaces, characters etc.). As far as customer service, I have no idea as I have not needed to contact them. Just go to the Amazon store, and contact the seller, and see if they have any suggestions.
@@SherlockHolmes78676 Unfortunately I haven't used them since the video, but I still take them with me in case I need to record something, so I definitely plan on using these more, but I was getting about 45 minutes (if I remember correctly) record time before the battery went dead, but if you plug it into a power bank while recording, it should record for as long as the power bank will last. Maybe you could send me an email of your configuration file, and I will be very happy to look at it for you to see if you have messed it up somehow. Just go to my about information, and you will find a link to my email address. Hey, I got glasses, but like some on Amazon, have no config.txt file. I tried emailing the support email in my manual, no response. How, or where, can I get this file? My glasses have no audio, just video.
Sorry I it has taken so long to get back to you, but I have been extremely busy lately LOL... The following is my response to another viewer who had a similar issue, and hopefully it will help you as well... ...I went to the oho Amazon store and found and looked at a manual for their glasses. In the troubleshooting section is spoke about a reset button that you need to activate with a pin. There is a hole next to the USB port on the right arm, and you would insert a pin into that hole and hold for approximately 15-20 seconds, and that is supposed to reset the glasses to factory (and it should replace the config.txt file as well). The only thing to do is try right?... The manual: www.amazon.com/stores/page/93D367D1-7AE3-4D0F-A23C-F09D30AD2D08?ingress=0&visitId=602f58b8-edc0-4e54-9ffc-d05e85e7bb0a I know the page says oho Sunshine, but it seems that this is a common manual for troubleshooting their glasses (all models), not sure. I hope this helps in your situation as well. Let me know if this works. 👍 P.S. There is no audio setting in these glasses, the audio just works. Hopefully if this reset works and the config.txt file returns, you will also have audio as well.
@@Outside-In. Hey, I reset them, and still no config file. I'm not sure what to do now, but I heard in all of the camera glasses, there is something in the config you change to enable/disable audio, but since my file is not there, I can't enable it. You are right, you need an otg cable to use the glasses with your phone. It should show up as an external hard drive, so yes, then you transfer the video/s to your phone memory to upload to TH-cam. I have never uploaded to TH-cam from my phone, but I would assume you could upload them straight from the glasses the same as you would if you were uploading from the phones memory. In this case, you would just choose the glasses as the drive that contains the video you want to upload. Hopefully, that all made sense LOL...
@Stone000 I am not sure these glasses can be used as a web cam, so not sure what you mean... these glasses (when plugged into the computer) work as an external hard drive so that you can transfer the videos to your computer or open and edit the config.txt file. Hope this helps
No you do not have to own a computer. You can use an android phone, and I show that in the video how to transfer to a phone. I created another video answering this question how to transfer files to the cell phone: th-cam.com/video/KbYuW79WrB4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vXVVZ72zCwyyFQEG
Glad I could help... No special format options in the glasses, so you would have to use an external program for that. Thanks for the question and comment - much appreciated. 😊👍👍
@@Outside-In. i also put the link of this vid in an amazon review (if it gets approved) cuz so many other people seemed to struggle. These glasses are perfect for recording on roller coasters which is what im gonna post a lot
The description states stabilization, but you have to make a decision on what you think from the video as I was driving down the road. There are no settings in the config file (which you can also see when you watch the video) to turn on or off image stabilization, so I am not sure. Thanks for the question
Most people don't look that close these days at anyone, so I think this would definitely go unnoticed for the most part - and mostly because these look like regular sunglasses. Just don't wear camera glasses anywhere it may be viewed as inappropriate lol... In those situations, it may be good to carry a piece of tape to put over the lens. If you were to go to a meeting wearing these camera glasses, I think someone would notice pretty quickly, and start asking questions... Wearing these into a store while on a shopping spree, would be much easier than holding a camera while you're shopping :). Thanks for the comment and question - much appreciated. 👍
I purchased the same 132g oho sunshine but can not download the videos taken. I can view but once I try to save as a download it won't let me even with the proper codec installed
Thank you for the question. You don't have to save the videos as a download (so I do not understand what you mean). You just drag them into a folder on your computer, just like you would from a camera or portable hard drive. Did this help? How are you viewing the videos on the glasses?
@@Outside-In. I was working with my home computer & not my Android. I had simply right clicked on file to save a copy to desktop. I formatted glasses to clear stored Video clips and photos, I went to open file on desktop after proper eject procedure. @@picwick57 Thanks for the clarification. Ok, when working with the glasses, you should treat it like you would any other external drive, and left-click and hold a file, then drag it into a folder on your computer. After re-reading the "Oops!" part of your comment, I am wondering if you maybe accidentally had copied the file as a shortcut by mistake (using right-click options can be tricky if not careful - easy to make a mistake), as that would be the reason for the message "it is not possible to open", and that would be because the file it is pointing too was no longer available because you had re-formatted your glasses' flash drive, but I am just guessing of course... I am not sure if I mentioned in the video about drag and drop, as the request for the video was how to access the glasses and how to edit the config.txt file. If I didn't mention what you need help with, I would be happy to make another video for what ever help you may need. Let me know, and thanks so much for the "P.S." much appreciated 😜👍

The reason the first Y went back to a N, is because after you make changes, the first Y is automatically changed back to N so that the changes are not made each time to turn on the glasses. @slicedpage I decided to try this config.txt file on my glasses, but it will not accept the Movie Audio line, it just deletes it from my glasses every time I try to use the file. There is one more reason I can think of that may be causing your audio to not be heard, it may actually be recording the audio, but you are not hearing it because you do not have the correct audio codec installed on your system. Before you ask, I have no idea what codec to use as the manual does not say. it may also be what happens to me, I have a lot of codecs installed on my system, but sometimes the audio does not work on my system until I use a program called HandBrake to re-compress the video file, and then the audio works fine, so you may want to try that as well. I do not know why this happens other than the fact that these are made in China and their quality control is not the best...

You will need to watch the video, I give step by step instructions in the video on how to accomplish what you are asking. Once you have opened the folder on your cell phone, move the videos to a location on your android device. I have never used a chromebook so am not sure I have been of much help.
Thank you so much for your video! This has been very useful, even for someone like me, who is visually impaired. I create TH-cam videos on my channel, and right now use the meta-smart glasses. However, I'm looking for an alternative/something to compliment them, because the Meta glasses only record one minute videos. They sound like they fit the bill, and I appreciate you doing this video and tutorial.
Thank you very much Sunlightbirdie for that incredible comment. I definitely have to check out your channel - with a name like that - it has to be good 😜
1. Make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the glasses. 2. Make sure that your glasses are the same as the ones in this video (not all glasses connect to the PC). 3. If you are using a USB C adapter with a micro USB cable, it won't work. 4. Try all the USB C cables you have available (there could be something wrong with the cable supplied with the glasses). 5. Plug the glasses into a USB port using the cable that came with the glasses, and then go into the Device Manager, and look for any yellow flags for USB devices. If there are any yellow flags, unhook the cable to see if the yellow flag disappears. If so, you need a driver for the glasses. There should be a website for the soho glasses, and you may want to see if they have a USB driver for their glasses. These were just a few troubleshooting steps. Hope these steps provide other ideas to try.
Mine worked fine for about one year. Recently I plugged them into my laptop and all of the files have gone except for the config text file🙁🙁🙁🙁 can't seem to find a way to contact oho to solve this so now they're just an overly expensive pair of sunglasses that do nothing.. I can't record or take pics. If anyone could help by telling me where I can download the files or how to contact oho via email it would be much appreciated. Even better if someone can copy and upload the files from the glasses to somewhere so they can be redownloaded
@@gavtheamateurgamer5603 The only files on my glasses are the config.txt file and the folders. Try adding the folders back to the glasses as follows: Create two folders named (all caps) "DCIM" and "LOST.DIR" In the DCIM folder, create two folders named Movie and Photo (only capitalize the first letter in the names) - (from my programming experience, Upper and lowercase makes a difference but not sure with these glasses) but best to put it back the exact same way it was in there to begin with. Folders: DCIM - (sub folders) Movie & Photo LOST.DIR Hopefully this will get you back to working...

Not sure what your intent is, as I just did research on promosm, and found that TH-cam discourages this practice as it is intended for promoting a channel and spamming, and also comes with a penalty of strikes from TH-cam. If you would like to engage in this channels content in a helpful way then I greatly would appreciate that. I never spam anyone, nor would I do or say anything to promote spamming as it hurts the community, and I don't condone hurting anyone, so if I just hit the like button without first making sure what a comment means such as this, I would be doing a dis-service to the community and my viewers, because these types of comments can lead to a spamming or promoting environment for financial gain. Just to be sure I would be responding in the proper way, I went to your channel and you have no content at all to promote, so that is why I am not sure of your intention with a Promote Social Media comment, and also the broken heart. So why did this video break your heart?, is there something about these glasses you do not understand?, if so, let me know and I will be happy to try and help. Let us work together to help one another - not take advantage...
I highly doubt that you have to use *that* specific cable. It's more likely that whoever gave you that advice doesn't understand that not all USB cables are made the same. To transfer data, the cable has to have the correct wiring -- and there's rarely any labeling to indicate whether a cable is for data transfer or charge only.
@ChrisOlin You are right, however, I have cables that will not work for transferring data. The manual for these glasses say to use the cable supplied, but I have a usb cable that will work without using the cable supplied. You can buy cables specifically for data transfer, and they are typically thicker.
I apologize for not showing exactly how to transfer photos to your cell phone. @MFW4 take along a power bank to power the glasses. You will get much more recording time.
I thank you for such a fantastic review, tutorial, and testing of this product. You did an excellent job. I will be ordering my dvr glasses soon.

Steven, that was the review I was looking and I asked the right person. You covered everything! I have ordered them from Amazon and want to thank you for a great video review of camera glasses. I consider camera glasses to be a tool in the safety toolbox and hope to have some reviews in the near future.
Thank you Rob, and am glad it helped. I thought I was over this flu, but now today, I started having no taste and also lost the ability to smell, so I guess it is not over...

Did you get into battery life ?
And what is the resolution you prefer to use most for yourself
@@countybeesters I meant too, but I think I did forget to mention it. Mine (on a full charge) recorded for 1 hour and 20 minutes, but fortunately, you can use a charging cable with these glasses while wearing them to get much more record time using an external power source such as a power bank. Hope this helps.
@@countybeesters I set mine to the highest it allowed in the config file (I think 2k), and it works great, so I am leaving it there.
Q- "Is it easy to upload to iPhone 15 the video files?":
A- It should be as long as you use the appropriate usb cable. I do not own a Apple phone so I do not have any experience with that.
Q- "can you film in horizontal and vertical mode? When u upload the file or do you just have to change the orientation when editing?":
A- These glasses record video just like a sports camera in horizontal mode (also called landscape mode). It records video in a 16:9 ratio and you would have to change that in editing. To get a vertical orientation, you would have to crop the video in post for that effect.
Q- "can you save the files on your phone?":
A- Yes, all you have to do is to upload/transfer the files to your phone.
Q- "does the 4K version of audio as well as video?":
A- I cannot answer any questions about the 4k version because I do not own the 4k version, but I would assume that - yes the 4k version should record audio as well as video.

Is there a way to buy clear lenses as I never got any with the "1080p" Oho Sunshine model I bought I bought on Amazon.
Is there any way to reset or reformat the hard drive on them? My computer can no longer detect them.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, you saved me for the configuration part!!!!
So glad I could help. Thanks for the comment - much appreciated 👍
The link you provided is for 1080 max rez camera classes. Where is the one you bought?
That link Is the one that I purchased, and the one in this video. I have the 1080P version of the glasses - Not the 4k version.

@@Outside-In. Do you still use the glasses yourself? If so, how long do they usually record for some reason for me it stops flashing after 5-6mins

...I went to the oho Amazon store and found and looked at a manual for their glasses.

You need the otg usb port to make it work on Android.. Can we look at out videos on the phone the way to and upload to youtube.. Thanks.. Usb-c to USB - c won't work will it..

Wow that's one pretty detailed review! But IYO how obvious would you say it is that this is a camera to passers-by
Most people don't look that close these days at anyone, so I think this would definitely go unnoticed for the most part - and mostly because these look like regular sunglasses.
Just don't wear camera glasses anywhere it may be viewed as inappropriate lol... In those situations, it may be good to carry a piece of tape to put over the lens.
If you were to go to a meeting wearing these camera glasses, I think someone would notice pretty quickly, and start asking questions...

Thank you for the question. You don't have to save the videos as a download (so I do not understand what you mean). You just drag them into a folder on your computer, just like you would from a camera or portable hard drive. Did this help?
How are you viewing the videos on the glasses?

Do you know, can these connect to a laptop via Bluetooth, then the camera be selected in an application, example WhatsApp, so you can do video call with the camera ?
Thank you Alex for the question. No, these glasses are not Bluetooth capable.
@@Outside-In. Great review btw, I've been searching for Bluetooth capable/USB wearable glasses that can connect to a laptop and show up as a useable device, however I'm finding nothing as yet :/ I find this quite strange a webcam of your POV is very useful for remote support, wondering what enterprises are using for this.
@@alexs5373 I am not sure what companies are using for the POV aspect, but these glasses work great for that, but I do believe you can get glasses that are Bluetooth, but not sure which brand. I may have to look into that.
Hey Alex, I just found a pair of camera glasses - with wifi, but not sure how good they are obviously, but I said I would look around, and I finally found a possibility after a lot of searching. The link is below. They are a bit more expensive (probably because of the wifi) They have a 59 dollar version with Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth is only for music and calls - not camera. Hope this helps....

That's why I was looking for like a web cam pov glasses for a laptop, selectable camera.

I am having audio trouble. I am very familiar with config files so this was a no brainer BUT...Once I change the first N to a Y and the other audio option is Y then recorded a video, there still was no sound and the configs first N was no longer a Y but back to N again...weird. Any ideas?
The reason the first Y went back to a N, is because after you make changes, the first Y is automatically changed back to N so that the changes are not made each time to turn on the glasses.
As far as the "other" audio option. I have no idea what you are talking about, as I don't have an audio option in my config file at all.
if you could copy your config.sys files contents and paste them here into your reply, I may be able to understand better what is going on.
Thank you.
@@Outside-In. Thank you I really appreciate your help. The other option was the movie audio.

Make sure you don't change any of the spaces or add extra text anywhere. The only thing to change in the file would be on the left side, such as a N to a Y or the video size, date etc.,
I am not sure if it was a reason your file was not being written to the glasses or not, but there was no time in the [Date Time Watermark{Y/N}, also on the Motor Vibration {Y/N} line, there was "depends on device" and mine does not say that nor does the manual, so if you or someone added that as a reminder, the camera may not have been moving beyond that point down to the next line, so not setting the Audio to on. Not sure. The instructions in the manual state specifically to not change and letters or spacing in the file as it would not work.
Copy and paste the changes I made below to your config.txt file, but make sure you clear your config.txt file completely before pasting the text below. There can't be any extra spaces in the file other than what the glasses were programmed to recognize or the changes will not take affect. Try this and let me know if it works. Thanks

@@slicedpage Thank you Stephen that was very kind of you. So did the file work?. It would help others who have the same issue.
How do you off load the video of the memory when it's full or unwanted videos.
All you have to do is to connect it to your computer (just as I show in the video), and it will pop up as a new flash drive, and then just drag your videos from the movie folder into a folder on your PC. It is that simple. Thanks for the question, I hope this helps.

Can i just use these and download to my laptop then transfer to a flashdrive???
Yes you can
Hi Sir. How do i get the video from my glasses straight to my phone?
You will need to watch the video, I give step by step instructions in the video on how to accomplish what you are asking. Once you have opened the folder on your cell phone, move the videos to a location on your android device.
Once the glasses are connected to your cell phone, the glasses will show up as a flash drive, and then all you need to do is to copy the files you want to your cell phone. If you need further assistance, I can try and create another video showing how to accomplish this... I just realized, I only show how to make changes to the config file, using a cell phone, and not how to copy files to the cell phone. Let me know.

When plugging the glasses into my chromebook I am unable to locate or find any files or anything. What am I doing wrong?
Chromebook is based on Linux, and I am not up to speed on Linux these days, but I did find the following information. Not sure it will help much, but thought I would add it here just in case it may help...
How do I transfer files from android to chromebook?
OK I'll save you the trouble. Here's the directions everywhere;
Unlock your phone.
With a USB cable, connect your phone to your Chromebook.
Unlock your phone.
On your phone, tap the "Charging this device via USB" notification.
Under "Use USB for," select File Transfer.
On your Chromebook, the Files app opens. Use it to drag files. ...
When you're done, unplug the USB cable.
The only problem there's is no "Charging this device via USB" notification. I have an unlocked Pixel phone and an unlocked Lenovo CB. Plugging in the USB cable gives no notification, but it does say it's charging. I'm just trying to find an easy way to put pics from my phone to my laptop.

@@Outside-In. thank you so much, this was very kind of you and I’m sure these instructions will help within the future for others who are confused. I did indeed end up fixing the problem;
I had to push the cable ALL THE WAY into my glasses, sort of in a way that makes a snap sound but that’s apparently how it’s supposed to be. As far as the black screen goes it is indeed a Chromebook software error as both devices were probably not made too compatible with eachother.
To fix this I just sent the files from my chromebook to my phone via email or google drive, my phone and every other device views them perfectly fine whereas my chromebook is just a black screen; not the worst scenario.
Thank you again!
@@DHEGRecords I love it... Thinking outside the box is the best way sometimes. 👍👍👍
How minute does it take to record a video 🙏 ? ??
Sorry, but I am not sure what you are asking.
I am not sure what you mean.
My videos aren’t working, any photo or video i take just leads to a black file?
@@DHEGRecords So I am assuming that now you are able to access the files on the glasses. If you have access to a pc, try to play the videos and photos on the pc to limit the problem of the black files to your chromebook. If it is only your chromebook that the files won't play on, then it sounds like a codec issue, and you will need to update your chromebook with the latest codecs. I hope this helps. I have never used a chromebook so am not sure I have been of much help.
You will need VLC to play the videos
@@superiorstreaming7350 Thanks for the info.
I definitely have to check out your channel - with a name like that - it has to be good 😜
Can I live stream with these ??
These do not work as a web cam so no you can't. Interesting concept though.
Mine wont connect to my HP laptop for some reason, not picking it up as a drive...
I could change the date and time on mine.
Is your config.txt file still tact?. Have you tried formatting the glasses?
@@Outside-In. Yes config is still there, i tried formatting.. Still the same unfortunately
@@gavtheamateurgamer5603 The only files on my glasses are the config.txt file and the folders.
Try adding the folders back to the glasses as follows:
Create two folders named (all caps) "DCIM" and "LOST.DIR"
In the DCIM folder, create two folders named Movie and Photo (only capitalize the first letter in the names) - (from my programming experience, Upper and lowercase makes a difference but not sure with these glasses) but best to put it back the exact same way it was in there to begin with.
Folders:
DCIM - (sub folders) Movie & Photo
LOST.DIR
Hopefully this will get you back to working...

'promosm' 💔
