    I’ve been dealing with all these symptoms for 5 years. It was only recently that I came across histamine intolerance. The relief I felt just knowing what was wrong with me was enormous. I am now working on a low histamine diet and two weeks in I feel much better.

    Literally all my favorite foods are in this and I have like ALL these symptoms 😭💀

      Yeah, I know, right? I am maybe a month into this and am just seeing this video. There are so many excellent videos on here about this topic and maybe some that, mmm, well, not so sure all the info is correct.
      When you 1st see the list of food, you might think: Oh, good, I can eat all of that and it turns out to be the list you can't eat!
      I am also giving up gluten and dairy. It's is tough. I am going to have to learn to eat some things I don't like, but I am hoping to get healthy enough to be able to return to some that I really care about like garlic, lemon, lime and possibly onion.
      However, in the meantime, I am feeling better, but still testing the water (screwing up a little. SMH with a smile). I am comforting myself that most herbs and spices are OK. So, I can tweak the flavors. I am finding that once I get the hang of this it won't be too bad. I am eating less; eating better and losing a little weight.
      Good luck to you. You know: this, Gluten Intolerance and Dairy troubles are really, really common. A lot of people have this and don't know it and may never know it. A lot of people will visit a series of doctors in different branches of medicine never knowing that they have a systemic disorder. You are ahead of the curve because you know what is wrong. I know grocery shopping is heartbreaking, now. Yep. Hang in there. 😊

      @@katyaflippinov9197 thank you and I hope you’re well on your way to healing too! In addition, I just had an endoscopy and found I have chronic gastritis but not an h. Pylori infection and I just did a SIBO test. The doctor told me I absolutely had to take acid reducers for minimum of a month to let my stomach heal. I tried the PPIs but after 4 days I couldn’t take it, they actually made ALL of my symptoms worse including the food intolerances. I switched to the H2 blockers (basically an antihistamine) and so so much better! So that was kind of a confirmation in my mind that I need to be cautious about histamine Rich or inducing foods. Just going to have to tough it out for a while. Take care and thanks for the positive message!

      I’m with you there! Can’t eat Asian anymore because of the soy, in fact about 98% of everything has soy or wheat or both in it, so I’m now eating mostly gluten free. Going to restaurants is a real chore, it’s embarrassing always having to ask what they cook this in or that. I ran into a lady at the gluten free breads one day at Sprouts, and she coined it well…this has taken all the joy out of my life! 😀 Doctors know basically nothing about it. The allergist I went to said I had hives! Well thanks a lot for that diagnosis….as if I didn’t already figure that one out…as he looked at my swollen arm. He wanted me to take Solair injections, but I declined since he wasn’t interested in further researching the “cause” this. He tested for allergies, nothing. Blood tests showed nothing! For now I stick to 2 Zyrtec a day, no wheat, soy, avocado, CHOCOLATE…I’m crying, and eggplant - not a biggie there or now…shrimp!

    I did not know Claritin and Zyrtec can make me histamine intolerant

    I'm almost 60 years old and I have felt hypoglycemic since adolescence. I finally connected my feelings of hypoglycemia with histamine food. I've been eating low carb for 6 years after being diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I heard Dr. Judy Mikovits talk about cytokines so I read a National Institute of Health article about cytokines. I don't understand a lot of the terminology but cytokines affect blood sugar. I also read that histamine intolerance can lead to insulin resistance. Why did no doctor tell me these things over the past 45 years? I have given up career goals because of my health problems. I almost had to go on SSDI because I was so sick and all I had to do was change my diet. How I found out about low carb was I looked for a video about how to use my glucometer and found a video by Dr. Berg. My doctor never showed me how to use a glucometer and I guess I'm glad because that is how I found Dr. Berg's videos. I worked at a stressful job and learned how cortisol was affecting my health. I had inflammation all over my body. My blood pressure went up to 180/100. I left my job and sold my house and I'm doing better now but I'm frustrated that it took me a huge chunk of my life to figure all this out. I take quercetin and I am trying a diamine oxidase supplement. I also take walks when I'm not feeling brain fog. I feel brain fog an average of once a week after accidentally eating something I have a reaction to. Fortunately I work from home so I am able to support myself.

    I think I am dealing with this - it is horrendous. Tapering Benzo's - horrendous - who knew HI was gonna be one of the issues, also Anti depressants cause HI - my G*d no wonder we are all sick with these food intolerances :(

      My stepdaughter is dealing with this a benzo taper right now. Just go slow be patient with yourself good luck❤

    I have a lot of these symptoms. How do I cleanse my gut first before going on the low histamine foods?

      I’m not a medical professional, but have to take care of my husband and his Post Covid/Long Hauler Syndrome. An elimination diet is usually advised: “In an elimination diet, a food or group of foods is removed from a persons diet for a set period of time. This helps to determine whether specific foods or ingredients in foods contribute to symptoms. Diets are individualized based on each patients history, eating patterns, and overall symptom picture.” Or you can slowly begin removing foods that you think may be triggering your issues. I think the elimination diet is the best route. Best to talk to your doctor. Best wishes to you!

    Wow she never mentioned a single food that does not contain histamine that you could have or suggestions for a anti histamine diet 🤔

      I have a leaky gut as well. All I can eat to reset is, meat, fish, egg, green leafe vegetables and basmati rice. That's it!😢

      @@paratrooper73 I also have a very boring diet. I cannot tolerate eggs anymore. I eat chicken, beef, broccoli, cauliflower, Brazil nuts, black olives, and milkadamia milk. I don't eat rice because it's glycemic. I don't eat spices because they make me feel hypoglycemic. I eat a lot of butter on my vegetables because that is one thing I can eat without having a reaction.

      @@shericontrary2535 watch carnivore diet Anthony chaffee. Skip the nuts, vegetables, seeds etc!

    Do your research if you have a leaky gut! Because in that case you have to skip a lot of food!!!

      @@MalaspinaLily well, first of all, most of the population has a leaky gut. Because of the way we eat and drink and what we actually really must not do. They lied to us for decades! We are not omnivores at all, but carnivores. That means animal eaters. And animal products like eggs, butter, dairy. ..
      but about 75% of the population has a lactose intolerance! They put the food pyramide upside down! We need fat, high cholesterol, red meat.
      It's just one big money machine. Farmaceutical industry, insurance industry, taxes, health'care'. Your illness is their income! Fruit and vegetables are genetic modifide, toxic. Processed food, toxic. Oat gluten grains, etc, all toxic. That's why so many people are sick! From cancer to adhd, Alzheimer, artitis to depression, astma, to autism, obese, allergies, intolerances, diabetes... everything is because of that food!
      Leaky gut: loose stool, hard stool, skin issues, ibs irritatable bowel syndrome, disturbed woman cycle, acid reflux, food intolerance , food allergies, bleeding gums, nausea, dizzyness, water retention, thurst, swollen face, puffy eyes, oxolate dumping.. the list goes on.
