Hi, very interesting, but I have anaphylactic reaction to anti histamine!!! I cannot understand why. I have many allergies, but can't take anything to help, and the allergies are increasing! Maybe it is histamine, but why the reaction to anti histamine?? Tia

@@hazeldellis hi it can be because of an ingredient .. if you try compounded maybe it’s ok but I still have issues too - something about methylation which I still can’t understand or gut health issue with substances/chemicals leaking into bloodstream making us crazy. @@StephanieAlicethank you. Not sure we have such a thing as functional medicine here in Spain!! I'm also allergic to apples, which is an anti histamine!! So some weird stuff going on in my stomach!!

Is that bacteria killed with probiotics?

    • @gutmicrobiomequeen
      @gutmicrobiomequeen ปีที่แล้ว +19

@@agenciahidalgo great question! We don't know that yet- we know so little about the microbiome, let alone how to tinker with individual species. For what it's worth, acidifying the colon seems to be the most effective way to target Klebsiella and Escherichia species. So, prebiotics (especially high FODMAP types) and probiotics are likely the best ways to go about lowering this.

Especially worse if you are non-white, female, elderly or the doctor has limited education, experience and is poorly trained. It’s a crime against the field of medicine.

For anyone suspecting histamine tolerance for themselves, I highly suggest you get an allergy test because your body may not react to histamine released from certain items that may otherwise be high in histamine. For example, I do not react to citrus fruits and milk but respond to potatoes that are considerably lower in histamine. See what works for you so that you are not limiting your options!

To echo many others, thank you for this! I have dealt with many of this issues for 20+ and my 19 year old son deals with many of them. I've been suspecting we have histamine intolerance and supplementing with digestive enzymes and DAO, as well as L-glutamine, vitamin D, quercetin, and b vitamins. My father and I have started watching your videos to work on potentially healing leaky gut. We face the problem of not being able to find any actual doctors that understand food issues, and functional medicine practitioners not being as knowledgeable as we would hope. I have 2 questions: 1. Do you know of any doctors with training similar to yours in Texas that we could see to interpret tests or do you consult virtually with patients? 2. Is there any harm with supplementing with berberine, oregano oils, and allicidin prior to testing?

When I did eat, I ate ridiculously clean and low carb, no added sugar, only rare glasses of organic wine.

Did your doctor prescribe you an anti anxiety med? 2 years ago I was having a health crisis. Was referred to a stomach doctor. One of the first things I told the stomach doctor is that when I took an antihistimine for my allergies, the stomach pain would go away. He gave me an anti anxiety med and sent me on my way. Now I get all my medical info from TH-cam.

My histamine intolerance didn't start until I quit the anxiety depression med Mirtazapine which is a H1 histamine blocker (which I didn't know at the time I was taking it). I was on it for 2 years. When I quit it a year ago I started having histamine overload and still do. I get headaches, waterly burning eyes, anxiety, brain fog, ringing ears, and total fatigue. Doctors didn't know what was wrong with me after several visits. I had to figure it out on my own after watching videos like this. Going to try to eat more garlic since it's a natural antihistamine.

I'm just thrilled to have found this video as I have been struggling for quite a while with hives and histamine issues without much help. Docs don't seem to want to investigate further and I'm developing more and more issues with my gut especially and even genitourinary area, much to my distress. Would be so great to talk to someone who actually is knowledgeable about these issues and cares to see patients get better. I'm stuck doing all this self-diagnosis and research and really just don't know where to turn. Am tired of being in pain after eating, though it seems to occur randomly and have not been able to isolate what hurts me. Was told I could have something called mastocytosis years ago but they have just had me on daily bilastine for this... if I miss even one day, I get the hives on my lips and hands - miserable life. I'll keep watching more of your videos and see if I can discern which of your products might be best for me but any help would be appreciated. Does anyone from this channel take any sort of consults via e-mail maybe? Just desperate for help, it has been an absolutely miserable time... I'm worried even to try the quercetin or things to help rebuild microbiome as I seem to react with pain in the kidneys to almost anything. Very strange and discouraging. My daughter gets severe migraines like she has to be taken to ER and I break out in severe hives like all over my entire body. We’ve been Gluten Free for 15 years. I took fexofenadine and cetrizine but it helped vanish the old hives but recurrence of new hives were always there. Last Wednesday I ate beans which is my favorite so had good qty and next day my limbs specially legs were covered with red hives, burning and itchy allover, got myself admitted under casualty in hospital for observation, injected pheniramine maleate and hydrocortisone, and applied calamine lotion. Eventually the burning n itching stopped so I was sent home.
Later I took 4 more shots of each of the above injections.
My mistake I din check which food I should have stopped for some time to control the histamine
Bread, cow milk, beans, banana, whole wheat, eggs I was eating and hence the episodes of hives always.
It's been a scary month for me doc.
Being an Indian, going on low histamine or no histamine diet is difficult.

Dr. Rajsree, This is THE most Informative Video I've seen on this Vital Topic. I suffer from IBS for decades - I do have numerous Spinal Maladies including various sites of Mild to Moderate Stenosis, Dextroscoliosis, various Back disc bulges and Degenerated Disc Disease throiughout - my GI doc beleivesd I suffer from SIBO as well. I have taken Oregano oil on occassion, but will take it more regulalry now, same with Berberine, and L-Glutamine (amino Acid). My Stomach conditions of IBS is severe Bloating, sometimes Explosive Burps (which I beleive are generated by the disruptions in my Nervous systems stemming from the Spinal Issues affecting my Diaphragm. Knowledge is Power - There is a Lot of info that needs to be (Excuse the Pun) Digested. There is a lot of supplements proported here to be sorted out.

Wowza, this is mind blowing. Been low carb, keto for 5 years. Eat mostly clean, one ingredient foods. Still having some issues, so this will be my next experiment. Canned fish, avocados, 92% dark chocolate and clean wine on weekends will have to go for a while. Praying this does the trick. Will check out the supplements.❤

I am a 3rd of the way thru this excellent presentation. I have been doing a fair about of research, so far exclusively on TH-cam, on Histamine Intolerance, Gluten Intolerance, Autoimmune Disorders, IBS and a variety of diets.
This has got to be the best I have seen. And for that I am so grateful, Dr. Rajsree.
Now, I am going to continue watching the remainder of your video and resume madly taking notes. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this presentation and for posting it. I am sure you are helping many, many people. 😊
2 Thirds into this now. I have noticed that my 1st very, mild symptom is a runny nose. Before long, I am just about choking on clear mucus that reminds me of Jelly Fish tentacles. That's awful.
I gave up Wheat close to a month ago. Today, I accidentally had wheat from a very unexpected source which is now in the rubbish. I am feeling better, but not yet well enough. This guidance here is very helpful. Much of what you said is the same as other sources, but this is much more comprehensive and I like your voice. I don't feel stressed listening to you although I am scrambling to keep up with notes. Other doctor's videos, I kind of felt yelled at. IDK. Great Presentation!

Typically 2 weeks to determine if it's a problem, then gradually add back foods to figure out which of the histamine foods are problematic.

I really needed to hear this about histamine intolerance. I am taking the Bifidio probiotis and Sach, boulardii. The latter I had noticed had really helped my stomach. And although I too L-Glutamine earlier on. I had stopped for a while so some symptons came back. However, I'm back on it and have inceased the soilbased probiotics plus Sach. oulardii. Thanks for this info as it works for all this bloating,

I've been struggling with severe and debilitating histamine issues for 12 years following a gnarly virus. What is your take on Butyrate? It's all over the news for being capable of possibly reversing severe allergies. I'd love to know your take on Butyrate if someone has something like SIBO as well. Thank you for all that you share, you've given me more peace of mind that there's a way through this.

I've suffered with several autoimmune issues for 12+ years. I had a total colectomy 6 years ago at Cleveland clinic due to severe IBS. I started on an elimination diet 8 months ago because of horrific skin rashes, bone and joint pain, severe inflammation, etc, etc. Since trying to reintroduce foods, I'm now having what certainly appears to be a histamine intolerance. I'm at the point where I'm only eating beef and drinking water and still am having to take an antihistamine around the clock and STILL have constant rhinorhea. It's cold and flu season, so I don't even like going out in public because I get dirty looks because I'm sneezing and sniffling almost non-stop. My doctor doesn't have a clue. Please help. I cannot go on just eating beef for the rest of my life. Thank you so much for your video. I've been desperately seeking information and it certainly seems like this is what I'm dealing with. I just don't understand why it started after I changed to an elimination diet.

    • @KindomSeeker

I forgot to add that I tried reintroducing dairy and it caused the most severe diarrhea that I've ever experienced, that lasted 2 months and was extremely foul smelling. I'm so sorry if that's TMI. And that's when my sneezing and runny nose got significantly worse. I also gained approximately 10 pounds, whish appears to be all inflammation in my belly because I have extreme bloating again. I have gluten intolerance but never noticed a dairy intolerance until trying to reintroduce it.
