    On March 28, 1882, the German dermatologist Carl Paul Beiersdorf opened a pharmacy in Hamburg. During his activities as a dermatologist, he developed a self-adhesive dressing that he received a patent on. ... The name Nivea is derived from the Latin adjective niveus, which means snow white

      Abdullah S. Ahmad same mine are Ken, PaulHFilms, KevyShaves, GeoFatboy, I could go on... I’ve been Traditional WetShaving for 11 or so months now and I started off with a Shavette then a Muhle R-41! Lol talk about starting off with a bang! Then I got my Gillette’s.... 1949 SuperSpeed 1964 Slim Adjustable (*My Fav*) 1930 Gillette “NEW” LongComb bar handle. Q-Shave Adjustable (the Merkur Futur CLONE) then my last is a 1966 Schick Krona. I’m not gonna sit here and mention all the great artisan soaps but I only have 2 brushes a great tuxedo synthetic and a silver-Tip Badger. I also love traditional WetShaving it makes shaving fun and something to look forward to whether it be personalized in your shave to fit your lifestyle. There’s a nostalgic aura that comes with being a traditional shaver like ppl in the 1950’s that I enjoy.

    Another great vid. I just tried Feather last night, and sadly they are too sharp for me. About half dozen nicks. So far have had the best shave with Wilkinson and the two Gillette blades in my sample pack. Astras coming up though :) I’d be willing to pay shipping if i were to win, so your idea for giveaways sounds great!

    Gotta love the Rockwell razor 👍Try a Gillette 7 o'clock blade in it. Sharp blade but beautifully smooth shave.

      Speaking of, I recently purchased a Weishi for travel/collection. The ten Weishi blades it came with took me by surprise.
      They were Astra smooth and Feather sharp to this mug. I'm impressed with them.

    Here's something interesting for you to try-in the bowl mix equal parts Nivea and Cremo. The Cremo adds more glide but the Nivea still provides a great lather. I also use a thin coating of Bromley's applied before applying Barbasol. Another great combo, Bromley's won't lather to save your soul but has remarkable glide. Much fun can be had messing about in this way.
    Makes a great lather but with a bit more glide.

    • @butchwaxx2652
      @butchwaxx2652 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I like that idea. I recently purchased 3 different tubes of Cremo. I really like the glide, but dissatisfied with the non, or very little lather. I will bowl up with the combination you mention.
      Thanks,
      D-Cap

    It’s funny how your talking about the feather blade I just received mine with my adjustable razor, it is super sharp but I’m learning is part of my problem with nicks I’m still used to cartridge and try to push against the skin, still learning and I have 3 different razors now but latest I really like it’s a bit heavy but I would recommend the Gillette from Walmart now it’s my favorite yet

      Gillette C is my favorite right now and I have the weishi nostalgic adjustableis great and the Parker 22R is ok but don’t like the blades that come with it, but the feather and Gillette blades are good

    Can you tell me in what kind of dispenser does the shaving gel come in? Also a little about it having the cooling effect or not? I have used the post shave balm it is good because it leaves the skin moisturized however no cooling effect whatsoever 👎🏻
