I just started wet shaving. Based on research I decided on Nivea Men After Shave Balm (Sensitive). It works great and is available widely.

Mark, your videos are so informational and helpful. thank you. I have started using the Cube 2.0 and the Rockwell preshave oil. Then I follow the shave with an alum block. After that, there are millions of great artisanal after shaves and balms. I have started looking into PAA and Stirling products. I like supporting small companies who have excellent products. Your videos help guide me to making some of those choices. KUDOS to you.

Nivea aftershave is fantastic and trustworthy in skin care for generations.
Pinaud comes in plastic bottle which is disappointment.
I have used the Alum rock it in the 80's and 90's a d was used in barber shops. I remember buying it in irregular shape. Interesting stuff!

When I came back to wet shaving, after a period of dry electric shaving for about 15 years, YT-videos helped me a lot in becoming familiar with shaving products I was not aware of. Trying out lots of them is very much part of the fun I have in wet shaving.

Sensitive skin really sucks for anyone who shaves, but I know for myself I just used cheap double edge throw away razors, and shaved while in the shower, with my hair conditioner on my face, for some glide, I never used soaps on my face, I just used a wash cloth and warm water, and gently scrubbed my face pre shave, and never had skin issues. I never used aftershaves, balms noting afterwards, but now im older I realize I really should look after my skin a bit, so I use an alum block, or Witch Hazel after my shaves, then in colder winter months I use a scent free balm, and even that, caused my skin to break out with pimples again, like I did as a teenager. I started using alcohol based splashes, and having oily skin, it helped, but like I said, for years I just used conditioner for a shave cream while in the shower, and that was it!! Worked great! lol Now im an addict of shave gear, and have too many soaps, creams, and aftershaves lol Great vid! cheers!

There's some great artisan aftershave balms out there that are unscented and won't interfere with any fragrance you might wear. The costs aren't that much more than store bought products and really help your skin. Great vid.
