very well explained thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Liquify persona/tool was one of the tools I never used, I didn't saw a use in it. But now I got some ideas to use it. E.g. in landscape photography, sometimes you want the stuff in the background (e.g. a mountain) be more impressive, i.e. bigger. With Liquify this could be possible.
Thanks for showing!
Hi @dkickelbick, thanks for watching! Yes, landscape photography could be another great scenario to use liquify.
I've never used liquify but you have given me a couple of ideas
I might have a suggestion for a future tutorial/stream: Procedural textures. (Unless you already covered this and I missed it?)
I would really like to get a better understanding of this as it may be a great tool to mimic a lot if the filters that Photoshop has. This festure is totally flying over my head at this stage. And apparently there is a some understanding of formulae/ equations needed for this. 🤯
Thanks for the suggestion, @arale1402! I haven't covered procedural textures yet, but it is on my TO DO list. Stay tuned!
@@TechnicallyTrent fantastic. Looking forward to it. Thank you 😊
Thank you, as always for the well explained tutorial. I personally find the liquify tool in Procreate to be more straightforward than in AP. But your demonstration helped me gain a better understanding on how it works in here. Would you know if there is any way for the Twirl effect to go the opposite direction? My understanding is that pressing Alt would merely undo the twirl slowly. Procreate usually has liquify effects go in both directions, but I couldn’t see the option in AP. Maybe I missed it? 😅
Hi @arale1402! Holding the ALT key will make the twirl go in the opposite direction. If you do this in a part of your image that hasn't been altered, you can see that does go in reverse. Hope this helps!
@@TechnicallyTrentah thank you very much. Will try this next time
