No, "fantastical" is not a word. Just "fantastic" is perfectly adequate & correct.

The Cambridge dictionary would politely like to disagree.

I’m such an Affinity noob I sat through this whole thing with my mouth hanging open in shock and awe😂 Thanks dude! EDIT: do you use Affinity Publisher at all? Could you do some tutorials or maybe Shorts about tips or how tos? PLEEEZ!?!?😢😢😢
Hey! Thanks for staying tuned in and watching! I do use Publisher for some layout stuff.. definitely on my list to do some Designer/Publisher stuff in the future.
@@bydesignmethod Yeeeahhhh, can't wait! I already know it's gonna be the best Publisher video out there dude!
Great video love the energy! ❤️
QQ: How do you resize the brush on a mac with a shortcut? Recently switched to mac and have not found it yet (without a mouse)
Thank you so much! To resize your brush you can use your bracket keys [ and ]
Use [ to make them smaller and ] to make them bigger. Thank you for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment!

I Love your tutorials. I have learned so much. I do have a question, how do I get the color swatches that show up in the color tab at the top right?
Thank you so much! My studio is set to default, so if you're on a computer (mac or PC) you should be able to go to top menu and select Window > Studio > Reset Studio. That should place the colour swatches in the top right. Let me know!
Great video, thanks! On your very last tip, you show us we can hit the x key to swap current background and foreground colors. You can also hit the d key to reset these colors to black and white. Cheers!
Great tip! thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a helpful comment!
More cool stuff I did not know. Thanks!

Can you make a video on how to rough edge the edges on an image similar to ripping effect but more prominent around the entire image ...like antique rough edge paper ❤
Hey Jenny! I will add it to the list! For something like that I would use a PNG paper rip (do a quick google search) OR a specific brush that would give me the look of a ripped effect. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment!
Thanks for some helpful hints. Do you know how to stop affinity from switching the swatches when you use eye dropper? Swatches are red and black, I want to black to be a blue, I use eyedropper to select a blue, black is now blue BUT it swaps the position so when you start painting it's red not the blue or am I the only one this happens to.
Hey Cole! I just tested this but it appears to be working normally for me. Are you MAC/PC/iPad? do you use the dropper from the left hand menu or the top right?
@@bydesignmethod I'm on a PC and I forgot to say it happens when I us the i key for the eyedropper to choose a color and press b for brush. I always have to press X to switch the colors.
@@colemyst You're right. Happens to me as well when I follow the way you do it. Strange bug I think. I usually pull the eye dropper from the top right so I can preview my selection before I select so I've never done it that way. Definitely not just you. I'll keep my eye out for a fix.
@@bydesignmethod Thanks, I thought it might get fixed in V2 but I guess not.
It's not the greatest, but good tips, thank you
how about really, really, really good Bramel? I'll take that.
Do some 3D text effect
