No ID gap ever existed in Tour's files for this supposed scrapped course. The only time an ID gap disappeared without getting filled was in the 1st Anniversary Tour for a gap that could only fit Banshee Boardwalk or N64 Bowser's Castle. It appears the lack of a prefix on Moonview Highway's original spot was only a placeholder. I don't know why you predicted three new courses in the Acorn Cup and one in the Spiny Cup, because so far Nintendo has spread the new courses out evenly whenever they can.

The only possible examples of this are the test courses, used for PPC, PPP, and seemingly Wii Rainbow Road respectively: none of which were Nitros.

I’m honestly fine getting both Mushroom Bridge and Moonview Highway. The game already lacked traffic courses and if anything Mushroom Bridge will still be unique in its own right come Wave 6. 5 traffic courses out of 96 total tracks is great.
While I will prelude that this video is very well-structured and produced, there is a minor issue that I think is necessary to point out. We don’t actually know that Mushroom Bridge is coming to the Booster Course Pass, which would detract from a lot of the Moonview problems. Firstly, the 8DX Bomb cars found in the files were the original assets used in Wii Moonview Highway, suggesting that it was actually a higher priority to remake(and potentially the only contender) than any GCN car track-with Mushroom Bridge likely only beating it to Tour for being simpler. However, a statement alone is not a conclusion, and any such proposition needs support. I think that, disregarding or retaining the possibility of one of these tracks being replaced, it’s likely that Dino Dino Jungle was meant for Wave 5. Not only would this coincide with its past retro difficulty placement(being below DK Mountain) and not only would it coincide with it’s specific name drop in Squeaky Clean Sprint-a track we know was made for 8DX-but it’s also really just the most logical option. We know that the BCP it fine with repeating settings a wave, multiple waves, or even no waves, apart: see Kalimari Desert and Sunset Wilds, Rock Rock Mountain and Merry Mountain, and Merry Mountain and DK Summit. This already deems the two jungles possible. And it is likely that DK Mountain is a Wave 6 track regardless, considering how Athens was pushed to Wave 5 AND lost its cannon-when it already had boulders that may clash. It also seems a little strange to plan Moonview and Mushroom Bridge specifically so close together-but not for the base of being a traffic course. Rather, the bomb cars. Due to how simplistic Bridge is, the track’s only main gimmick is its three unique vehicles. One of which does not function properly in Tour, and one of the other ones is already being used in Moonview. Therefore, for them to plan Bridge, no less move it to the most difficult wave despite having Mario Circuit 1’s layout, they’d be robbing the track one of of its two only uniquely defining qualities. Whether or not Dino Dino Jungle was scrapped for another course is a whole other debate, but I think it’s evidently more likely based off our current facts and reasonings to have been the original Wave 5 GCN course! Bridge being the guaranteed pick is merely an invention of the fandom, similar to Airship in Wave 4 and-nowadays-Daisy Circuit in Wave 6. However, this should not takeaway from the video at all, as this is a very common discrepancy that I just wanted to shed some light on since misinformation-even unintended-can often lead to very toxic debates in the fandom. Still though, these videos were very well produced, keep up the good work!

But later confirmed by a dataminer that it's for Madrid, which also has a football arena. The teaser shows Plaza Mayor, which is a prominent place in Madrid. So Madrid Driveway or whatever the final name's going to be is definitely the final Tour City for Wave 6 (originally for Wave 5). As for Airship Fortress, that's also wishful thinking for fans just to cope that the final DS track is Mario Circuit. Unfortunately, no ID or datamines show any signs of DS tracks coming anytime soon in Tour. What's available in the ID gap and datamines are GBA, GCN, Wii, and 3DS. In my opinion, Wave 6 is going to be boring and the only thing to hype about is Piranha Plant Cove, SNES Bowser Castle 3, and Wii Rainbow Road. The rest are plain dull.
