Engines are the central feature of Bad Piggies, allowing our hero Ross to power all sorts of crazy contraptions. But what happens if I take on the biggest, hardest levels in the game without using them at all? Is it possible to beat Bad Piggies without any electricity?

The tnt rocket designs actually explode and if you get ALL of the different part designs, you can unlock alien parts and the all behave differently

I know there's a glitch in this game where you can send Ross flying so fast he is in every place at once instantly getting every star crate. That would make this preeettyyy easy lol

Fun fact: After unlocing all 1-star, 2-star and 3-star parts, you will be able to get random "?" parts for 3,000 scrap each. It's very expensive, but each one has unique abilities, for example the motor is extremely fast, the boxing glove can be extended a bit further, the grappling hooks (aka suction cups) shoot explosive lasers, and other cool stuff.
Edit: how did this get so many likes within only 2 days?!
Also, since the super electric engine was part of the initial update with the spare parts machine, you were able to get it like the rest of the non performance enhancing parts before the update that added the rest of them.
In fact, using that system, you can beat GHD 21 with no motor with the upgraded fan.

Now hear me out. THIS is the best mobile game ever.
Also, theoretically the "V8" and "gearbox" engines don't use electricity, they use gas.
and none of the machines need electricity, they all need kinetic energy, so the title is a bit misleading
if you want to be really persnickety, gasoline engines use electricity to power the sparkplugs and ignite the gasoline, so they do require electricity.
This, Geometry Dash, color switch & Temple Run 2 are definitely my all time favorite mobile games.
so technically speaking this video should be titled "can you beat bad piggies without engines"

If you're gonna tackle the main game, then try every level and count the number of engines required, not the number of levels that require engines.

Bad piggies is one of my most nostalgic games and seeing Drengodr play it with a brand new gimmick is just awesome.
If this was bad piggies HD, you could probably have used alien parts to make yourself some extra power in your punch

If you want to do another bad piggies video, i have a bit of an interesting one for you.
If you unlock all the "costume parts" using bolts or opening crates, you can unlock "alien parts", which aren't just for vanity's sake, they all have unique attributes that set them apart from one another, and genuinely have unique gimmicks based on their "normal" counterpart. All that being said, a video where you try and beat all the levels in bad piggies using ONLY these alien parts sounds like it could be an interesting challenge, not to spoil anything, but Ross' alien costume makes gravity inverted for him, if that's a tell on how... strange, this sort of challenge could be.

Aw crap, this is worse than the time I had to build a crazy contraption to collect some strawberries.
There is a pretty funny glitch where if you shoot a plunger gun at a steel box containing ross it will sometimes send him into the shadow realm
Doing a bit if testing I found out that if you put a steel box below Ross and a wheel above as well as a second plunger gun pointing at him it is a lot more consistent
but can you go further?
I fear you may not be able to, can’t wait to watch this video tomorrow, I’m sleeping now

Easily the best Bad Piggies-related (And just ANY Rovio game related) video I've ever seen. The storytelling, script and delivery is all absolutely top notch. This quest really feels like a journey, and the epic Bad Piggies tech you employed on some of the harder star boxes were just godlike. I love the tech in this game, even if it's a rather obscure and niche part of the experience, and you did it a ton of justice. Even aside that this was extremely fun, I *WISH* it was longer, you should really try doing the other wacky sandboxes such as Find the Statues.
Also dang, some of these star collection moments were so cinematic, Hollywood WISHES it could make stuff on a similar level. Especially the *19:06* 37th starbox and of course, *22:58* the ultimate, 40th starbox! Everything from grabbing that broken off piece to that immensly satisfying final fling to fall far into the flimsy fracture forcing you from that finishing feastly flag, freeing you from your felonious, forced, faulty loop of finding and funding! It's all just too perfect.
I'm super glad you enjoyed the video! This is one of the best comments I've seen in a while, thanks so much :) There does seem to be a lot of interest in the rest of the sandboxes, so I might tackle those eventually.

Challenge idea for bad piggies: you can only activate one ability (the blue buttons) per attempt

Spiders use very small hooks to climb things, so their feet look kind of like little cat paws when seen up close :)
Imagine if the whole reason why electric parts work with electricity and not motors is because Ross _is_ the motor that's powering them. Like, the reason why he's bobbing up and down when that happens is because he has invisible limbs like a VeggieTales character and just uses them to 'power' them, and the rest of his body is moving around to reach. Cursed idea but makes sense imo

I remember watching all those old Bad Piggies videos where people would make bizarre contraptions or recreate WWI. It warms my heart to see that people still experiment with this gem of a game.

Incredible content as always. Your Angry Birds video game related vids are always what pulls me back to your channel, excited to see the insanity and challenges you come up with. Honestly great stuff and super fun to watch. Would love to see you attempting some of the levels int he story mode packs which are possible without engins or perhaps doing other challenges on Angry Birds Space/Rio/Star Wars/etc.

If I'm not mistaken, you can get more parts in the Sandbox levels by getting stars in regular levels as well!
I think you're right! But since I got stuck early I decided not to worry about it, and that may have made the challenge more interesting overall since I had to rely on more limited parts
2:26 when using a vehicle without motors that needs electricity you can see Ross bobbing up and down while sweating as he moves the entire vehicle with his pure pig power

I’m surprised you didn’t do this after completing all the levels in the game for more parts to make collecting all of these star boxes easier but congrats on doing it without them anyway.

Good to see this game again! I reckon spring cannons would work - springs collect star boxes for some reason, and placing long strings of springs adjacent to towers of TNT results in your average day in Springfield, Missouri, thereby lightning-striking your way to the goal.

Forgot about the useful glitch to collect boxes without too much work:
1. Place some springs (more than 15)
2. Use as many TNT you can
3. Enjoy your effect
the easiest way to beat any sandbox level that gives you an egg and tnt, just grind for every single item part until you can get alien parts, then use the alien tnt (explodes infinitely) and the alien egg (glues your contraption together without using any power-ups), and hit the 'tnt' button a lot to move very fast
I still haven't done this WITH motors and all the secret Alien parts. Good job. We await future Angry Birds challenges from you.
This was the game of our childhoods, the Road to El Porkado was one of my favorite worlds. I loved making the craziest contraptions

For as much as I liked bad Piggies, I never really bothered with the sandbox levels. Some of these contraptions are insane to me. Great job
I like this challenge, it will be very interesting to see another levels or sandboxes with it, especially "find the skulls" and "find the statues"
Ross isn't the one who builds the contraptions. He is the pilot. The one who builds them is the mechanic pig with the blue hat.
Fun Fact You Can Just Use Suction Extenders and TNT and the game will Glitch Horribly and you'll already have like half the Boxes

I've watched this atleast 3 times, I even got all the star boxes in ground hog day sandbox one after being inspired by this, I do love challenge videos
I played bad piggies and got all the hidden costumes one time, it was the best time of my life

idk if this is in the video since i havent watched it fully yet, but there is a glitch (only sandbox) where you uh, ''break the game beyond human comprehension'' that can literally turn it into technically a 3d game. all you need is a rope placed down, a pig, then click the preset button that your already on like 100 times, then click a different number, then that same number, then the game basically cries as you can place down inf tnt, inf rope, inf most stuff, and just chaos
I love the suction cup physics in this game. In mobile, if it can clip on to other square it sometimes makes them act like parachutes- best way to describe it. And that object appears to float, regardless if wood or metal. Don’t know if there’s any applications but it’s funny physics
So an example of that would be the end where the one wood block that’s grappled on

Man I remember this game, I’ve never seen Little Piggie Adventure before, it was just Field of Dreams back when I played it lol. I spent so much time in there, that suction cup spider design was one of my favorites and I’d spend ages trying to see where I could get with it
This game was probably many people's gateway drug to making all those crazy vehicles and inventions from random junk in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. At least it was for me
