I wanted to say that as someone who had a switch, did not have Mario Kart, sold said switch and bought a new one recently: the reason I got into it was simply because I've been using my Switch so much more now. I use to play a lot more on the Xbox, but nowadays I only really use my pc or my Switch. My pc is for things like modding, vr or just demanding games whereas the Switch is what I use for little arcade-like experiences, really easy ice breaker with company and so on. I've been getting heavy into MK8D and SSBU as of late as a result, so that's why I've gone from never playing to currently being at around 5000 elo or whatever the MK8D equivalent is called haha
If I were to add new kart parts, I want to see citrus-themed wheels. You can use either lemons, limes, oranges, or grapefruits; or any combination of them, really. I just think they would be really cool. But if only one type of fruit would be chosen, I'd go with oranges.

Unpopular opinion: As an avid Formula 1 fan, I would love to see the Sprinter from MK Wii return to 8 deluxe. I know we already have the original B Dasher and the W25 Mercedes (and the Circuit Special even though it barely resembles an F1 Car) but I’ve always especially liked the Sprinter because its the closest Mario Kart has ever gotten to a real life f1 car, the icing on the cake being that the red and white Sprinter strongly resembles Mclaren’s famous Marlboro livery from when Ayrton Senna was winning his championships, a true classic indeed. 👌
