I have Hashimotos. Every time i eat something with higher iodine(salt, seafood, seaweed) my nodule gets big i can barely swallow. itctriggers a flareup.
my doctors told me i absoluteky cannot have iodine, not even synthroid. i can only have levothyroxin without iodine. I tested with electrodermal testing and my iodine levels are suuper low. my question is what should i do?

My group of friends remains respectful of one another by acknowledging that we all have highly specialized dietary needs. We bring our own food to eat,and if we want to bring extra for others to partake of,we put the ingredients on a little index card. There are too many dangerous side effects in foods these days and especially if you’re getting up in years, can be fatal. What’s most important is gathering together, not complaining about food sensitivities.🥰

A bird found in N.E Australia that only eats the fruit of certain plants in that area. No other animal on the Planet can eat those fruit because it will kill them. Also Cassowaries cannot eat anything else besides these fruits. Dairy products cause inflammation, no matter how much you eat something that says it is lactose-free, like 24-hour yogurt or aged cheese, there is still something there and causes inflammation in the digestive system. Butter gives prostate cancer. Pork has parasites and other diseases, it's no wonder that Jews haven't eaten it for thousands of years. Don't you need carbs to rebuild your glycogen reserves ? As a bodybuilder, I tried keto, but I felt very bad in less than a week. It seems that carb cycling works very well in my case (3-4 meals low on carbs or even zero-carb, followed by a carb reload). I guess we have to experiment, since a diet can be good or bad depending on your gut health, your physical activities, your stress, and so on.

    • @Arggggggggg

@@matthieusavary983 you don't need to ingest carbs for glycogen stores if you eat enough protein and fat. When you deplete glycogen, you use stored fat for energy as ketones, and any protein that isn't needed for muscle and other tissue repair, is converted to glucose by gluconeogenesis, excess is stored as glycogen, and overeating protein is bad because what cannot be stored as glycogen is converted and stored as fat. But if you're keto, and not eating carbs, you'll access some of that fat if you stop eating too much fat and protein.😅

It is so individual for each person. I had insane oxalate issues and at one point had them coming out my nose and the rims of my eyes. And felt like I was being stabbed by a billion needles in my legs and my butt when I would walk That went on for years until I went carnivore. I drank a TON of milk tho to prevent serious dumping. I would sometimes have to drink a half gallon a day since lemons were out for me. Good luck on your healing journey.

I never had a kidney problem until the VA in Columbus Ohio illegally changed my celebrex prescription to etodolac. My arthritis pain immediately started becoming debilitating so i doubled the amount of ibuprofen to address the pain. Within 6 months my kidneys were ruined for life. My new PA saw my kidney damage and said "YOU'RE NOT TAKING THIS WITH IBUPROFEN, ARE YOU?!!" I said yeah, a nurse in Columbus told me it's the same thing as Celebrex. She responded "NO, IT'S NOT !!! IT'S THE SAME AS IBUPROFEN !!! You're gonna have to be careful with your kidneys for the rest of your life !!!
If i were a civilian, I'd be RICH !!! But the FTCA prevents people, esp veterans, from suing the federal government = the VA. Evil.

@Knowledge-College they're just very tiny, hard specks. Have u ever had crystals form on ur inner corner of ur eyes after sleep? It's those but much tinier when they come thru the skin. But if I ran my hands across my bedsheets I could feel them. It was ridiculous and fortunately I was able to sleep a lot to detox all of it, because I wasn't working.
Vit C & beet powder also contribute oxalates...I was eating extremely high oxalate diet trying to be vegan and naturally fight high blood pressure w the beet powder. My mother had kidney stones & my siblings have them too. Mine were extremely large (one stone was 17 mm) in my early 50's because of my vegan diet combined w my genetic predisposition.

Im O blood group the oldest and am advised to eat a lot of meat so carnivore works books called something like ‘Eat right for your Blood Type’! I think like genetic testing and adapting lifestyle and food and supplementation eating for your blood type will eventually become ‘a thing’ and probably the basis of health care and lifestyle advice in the future. Obviously, not promoted as big pharma making too much money at present out of all the confusion…. Hey ho….

My big dump happened 21/2 years being strict carno. Last year my skin on my arms went crazy with tiny white crystals coming through. The pain was awful. Its been almost a year with it returning four times now. Thankfully each new round is milder than the last.
When I started carno I didnt know about slowly reducing high ox foods. Before carno it was 2-3 spinach smoothies a day, almost daily sweet potatoes, high vit C because of dental issues. Perfect candidate for hell later on.
Currently I drink green tea in the morning and squeeze a lemon everyday.
    Slowly but surely I’m recovering.

@pixelkat1819 Same thing for me. Doctor Sally Norton does say that every person is unique, and so everybody must pay attention to their symptoms and adjust accordingly. This is not a game. The best advice given in this video is that people must do the diet change at a very slow pace.
Because of the severe reactions from oxalate dumping it is sensible to say that that people must pay attention to their reactions to foods. Carnivore diet seems to be the way to go.
