I needed this. I wish I could eat a carnivore diet but bacon just triggered my oxalate reaction. I'd been doing ok with grains but my body eventually rebels with them. I do ok with a plant based nutritional regiment I have found to be safe. I have read that blood type can affect being able to eat meat. I'm A.
Omega fatty acids seem to help me purge oxalates also.
The common denominator between all of my allergies is oxalates. My mom presented as neuro divergent and my grandmother. I get super aggressive when I get oxalate overload.
I always thought I was a sociopath because of these issues. Now I know better.
Thank you though. I'd just been thinking last night that I needed to figure out how to get them out of my system faster. The mg of the vitamins was something I needed.
For anyone who may need help this is my daily nutritional intake. I do about 6-8 servings of Orgain organic protein powder, a couple of cups of the organic morning blend from CostCo with about a cup of the organic 4 berry blend, a liter of their organic coconut water. A can of salmon (usually. I haven't lately) with lemon pepper and some basil. My vitamins are magnesium glycinate 100mg, vitamin D3 2-4k IU, B12 5k mcg, b1 300-500pmg a day, 35mg of zinc, about 150mcg of a potassium iodine/iodide supplement and up to 10mg of boron. About 10-12 prunes and 2 reign energy drinks. Not the best but it works for me.

I followed the blood type diet book almost into the grave. I'm A. I went fully carnivore and healed so fast ppl were actually pissed. They loved when I was starving myself on plants I guess.... I had so many health issues I couldn't count them all. I was so weak after years it was a miracle when I found out about carnivore eating. Good luck. And yes I'm 100% sure of my blood type. I also believe the author of the book when he explains how he came up with his thoughts. Thing is... A glass slide is not the same as the inside of our bodies. Whatever clotting that happened on that side mixing A blood with beef protein CLEARLY is undone by some other bodily function as I went only beef for 90 days and have never felt better after that. I struggle with addiction to these plants and grains but I keep pushing towards eating a heavily animal based diet.

You would be fine and most likely better (as everyone would) on a carnivore diet. The key is transitioning slowly to allow your gut & mouth microbiome to adapt & also allow slower oxalate dumping. The healthiest meats are from fatty ruminant animals (cattle, lamb, goats, deer, etc.). Beef is the easiest to find that has a high enough fat source. Genetics will play a role into how much fruits and vegetables we can eat as long as we are also out in the sun or in the cold depending upon your Haplogroup or genetics of your mitochondria. Fatty ruminant meat is the least inflammatory due to a number of reasons including how ketones vs glucose are processed by the mitochondria. Humans should never eat a single carbohydrate unless they are out in the sun or cold a large amount of time depending upon the Haplogroup of their mitochondria. And, even then, it should not be a significant portion of their diet.

I’ve been low oxalate for about 13 months. Starting in childhood.
    Ear infections.
    Hay fever.
    Teenager, arthritis.
    Twenties, itchy skin, psoriasis.
Thirties, numbness in fingers, symptoms of celiac disease. Went on a gluten free diet and things improved dramatically, but the psoriasis never fully cleared.🤔 Anyway, at the start of 2023 started to get peripheral neuropathy after a particularly stressful period. Luckily for me by April 2023 I had discovered sally k Norton, and realised what the problem was. I’ve been gradually poisoning my self 🤦🏻‍♂️.
    Peanut butter.
    Whole grains.
    Plant based milks.
    Nuts and seeds.
    Sweet potato and beets.
    Turmeric and cumin.
Spinach, to name just a few of the culprits. 13 months on low oxalate and no more psoriasis or peripheral neuropathy. Both will reappear slightly when the dumping is strong, but soon go away again. This has highlighted how important freedom of choice is around food, a one size fits all approach would be, imo a public health disaster.

If people want to continue their behavior that causes problems, I really don’t want to keep having conversations about it. One blood test showed elevated oxalates and when I explained that he was at risk for more problems, he obviously couldn’t be bothered to drink fluids. Every info suggested taken magnesium; tried all different types of magnesium but didn't have any positive effect. After watching your video I decided to try B6 and Biotin. I was already taking multi B. I took just B6 and Biotin after exercise. No muscle pain. I thought, no just coincidence. I took the next day, and the next day. No pain. I don't get pain anymore in my muscles. I don't take on weekends when I don't do exercise. Why no one mentioned this before everyone giving the same info including my GP, take magnesium. Exactly - and mostly because not every two "bodies" are made equal. The human body is extremely complex, and genetics play a major factor on how the body responds to the world. It is important to know about oxalates, lectins, etc., but in the end if we don't have issues like kidney stones, we should just live with the awareness of them. If we fine-tune our nutrition based on anything and everything that we find on TH-cam we are potentially causing problems somewhere else. Listen to the body. The other consideration is that for every "eat this" video there are many "don't eat this" videos as well. Eat clean, eat whole, be active, sleep well, and know your body.

It's called "discernment". Some people have it. Some people don't. For people without the ability to truly think for themselves, any amount of investigation seems like an impossible task. They may even call it obsessive. It's deflection... drawing attention away from the fact that they lack the ability to know when they've been misled.

Don’t forget about your teeth. Plaque is oxalates. That you need to have scrapped off at the dentist’s offices.
I haven’t been to a dentist in about 15 years. Seven years ago my teeth were damned ugly. Lots of plaque 😞. Now after 6 1/2 years of carnivore, zero plaque. And still no dentist. Just eating fatty cuts of meat and zero plants ever.
Oh, and the guy in the video mention something, but left out something at the same time. Oxalates damage endothelial cells. He said that. But what he left out which a little more important than that is that is where the arterial plaque comes from. Oxalates. The only reason you find cholesterol in the plaque is its just there doing its job healing. That is the main job of cholesterol. Cant heal without it.

People say eat your vegetables don’t eat meat another says completely the opposite. People say never supplement with calcium others say the opposite. What good is any of this information. If you watch a video they will say your misinformed, if you miss a video they will say your uninformed.

There are lists of oxalate content of veggies, nuts, fruit that you can find from reputable sources on the internet. Usually they list the oxalate content per 1/2 cup or 100 grams. Yeah Spinach is CRAZY high in oxalates. Sweet potatoes have some in them but if you boil them, the oxalates reduce somewhat. Right at this very moment my skin itches in back of my knees from oxalates. Best...

Your body can only eliminate them at a certain rate through the kidneys. (And through mineral binding in the gut which of course reduces the available minerals from your food)
If you consume (+ what you produce naturally) more than your body can eliminate then they get stored causing health issues over time, until you go on a low oxalate diet allowing your body to eliminate what's stored.
Additionally Oxalates are highly acidic (pH 2.0 roughly).
Fun fact Oxalic Acid is use as rust remover
