  • When you get a power cut your diesel heater can melt if it isn't shut down properly. with this power switcher, when there is a power cut, it automatically switches to battery backup. and when mains power resumes, it will switch back. great solution.
PUMPING HOT AIR INTO MY HOME
I bought one of these for my garage, and then thought....... I could heat my home with this! So that's exactly what i did! It is working great pumping hot air into my home. It is keeping us nice and warm and super economical.
I have a carbon monoxide detector just in case, but you don't get any fumes indoors at all
    .
I hope this may help you in some way. Even if it just makes an idea pop up in your head, of how you can heat your home in cheaper way.
Thanks for looking at my videos cheers Andy..... If you can be anything, be Kind.....

I run mine from solar .. same power supply as you have but runs from inverter connected to 4 x 100ah lithium batteries. So I don't have a problem if mains power grid drops out.
My Hcalory is set in the fire place with exhaust 10ft up the old chimney.
    Works a treat.
Wake up pick my phone up press heater on from bluetooth house is warm when I get up.
I've followed Andy for a long time now I purchased my heater on the back of seeing his vlogs. Very useful 👌 👍

hi , after doing much experimenting with my heater in the work shop , i to would very much like to install one in the fire place in my cottage , the winters here are very cold and heating very expensive . have you had any issues with the exhaust going straight up instead of down wards ? i had condensation build up in my exhaust whilst running it upwards , almost blocking it :/ made some very odd gurgling noises , when it faced upwards , did you experience this ?

@@specialse Nothing ive had this condensation question so many times.. my take on it is low volume of cold air in the chimney let's face it the exhaust isn't outside.
I was told I would get condensation just after I set it up so to be sure I removed exhaust 3 times over winter just to be safe pipe was clear apart from being black there was nothing.
Hope this puts you're mind at rest.

@@webpigjohn4959 thank you for your reply . ive cleaned out my machine before , i wondered if the coke build up was due to the pipe and condensation going up the way . its grim trying to stay warm here in winter , if i could get the my main room like the work shop id be very happy , room i want to heat is about quarter the size of the work shop.but has a fire place in it . ill be giving it a go this winter then ,,,but will use summer to get set up ;)

These dont work on every machine ive tested some and the machine doesnt go into cool down either it just switches off as the relay on them doesnt switch till the voltage drops to around 10v from the mains power supply so there slow switching which isnt quick enough on alot of heater .also there only 10amp max most heaters can draw over the 10 amps on start up i dont know if they do a higher amp one not looked .🤔
