I feel like kindred spirits, I have been following you since you decided to move and start your glamping business, we must have watched the same videos at the same (Robuilt) time because we are in the process of building out our glamping site in NC as well. You're ahead of us because we are having to use a contractor and deal with the city but we'll get there! I want to be one of the first to stay, so please reach out with contact info and I will book!! So looking forward to your finished site, you all are so fun to watch and I love that you seem to really love what you're doing!

@@kumiverdier470 Thank you!! We just opened about 10 days ago and it is madness but I won’t spoil the surprise since that’s our next video that should be ready in a couple days! Where are you in Nc? And what kind of structure are you building? I would absolutely LOVE to help. I love interior design and styling so it would be my honor and a huge compliment so thank you so so much!!

Dang this is so impressive. Your craftsmanship and work ethic is top notch!! I have a lot of questions but my biggest one is how do you go about adding a sub panel of your main line? Do you have to work with the city and power company?

Hi Brad & Chloe (not sure how to make the cool Swedish e haha). Thank you for your comment, we are proud of what we built. To add a panel was fair y simple... expensive but simple ($1,600) I had an electrician do it. I have an electric pole in my backyard with a 200 amp breaker. Then our house has a panel with a 200 amp panel. We went over existing appliances I have in the house and he said I can feed a 100 amp panel from my electric pole in the backyard. My house doesn't really use 200 amps so I have room to add. But a couple days ago I did have the electric company come out and I will be installing another electric pole on the other side of the yard for future projects. It's going to be about $1,000 and I will need a permit from the state and inspection. Do you have a pole at your property? If you do just look at the panel, open it and look at the black lever of the main breaker and look for a number. 200 or 400 its the most common I think.
