Naah, poor kid was just trying to wrap his mind around it, I don't think he had really thought about what it really meant to be gay and that's just where his mind went. He made me laugh, I also think he felt a little neglected. I don't think really meant anything by what he did.

I have a 4 year old son and have always said that no matter what i will ALWAYS stick by his side, i have mentioned before that if any of my children were to be gay i would love them the same, my son loves to play with "girly" toys he loves the color pink, when we are out in about my son loves to bring his favorite pink minnie mouse cup as well as other "girly" toys that are pink, but i want my son to be himself i do not care. And i do not believe my son is gay, i just want to mention that i fully support all my kids no matter what. lifes too short to not except one another.

Garrett Van coming out is very important for confirmation and being able to be comfortable!! He probably knew they knew and that's fine. It's not all about making a big reveal it can be about coming to terms with who you are and when you want it to be official

LOL!!! Gay kids today are luckier than I was growing up in the 70s. No one in small town Virginia really talked about homosexuals. My family had to know about me because when I was a little boy, I was a little girl, that said, they were in some major denial.

there's no way that coming out SHOULD be. it's different for everyone and that's ok. some people have a harder time saying it, and some don't. there's no right or wrong way to come out.

I hope people actually watch Campbell's little brother because his reaction is honest and more so his questions. If you come out, be prepared to answer some questions or provide guidance for younger family members who will ask very personal questions about sex, body parts, marriage, children, how do you know, etc. Some questions will be out of curiosity while other will be out of concern. You don't have to tell everything but assuring them they are okay, you're okay, and everything will be fine is the best for an initial conversation. There also may be questions your siblings don't want to ask in front of another adult so be sure to give them private time to discuss it and respond at an age appropriate level. As Tate Faultner articulated below, this may have some side effects at their school so help them prepare as well.

This is so nice I'm so happy that you did this and told your parents for others to get from it and feel more comfortable telling their parents and it really does show the positive sides and how cool your mom and dad took it:)! Your obviously very close to your mom and dad and they do not care who you like she still loves you the same❤️thank you for doing this for everyone and it gives everyone a positive feeling. omg yes what gave me the courage and let me know I was ready to come out was from watching coming out videos. But the one that let me know for sure was Ingrid Nelson's video!:) I too was nervous to come out even though I knew the people I have in my life are okay with it. Its just the fact that you're finally sharing your true self and there's always the what if.
