Great story Campbell. You really have some supportive people around you. I do understand it can be difficult because of expectations that are placed on you by society and the issue of our own fears. Things did get better for you.
My gran always new but my parents had no clue it was the funniest.
Campbell, thanks for sharing your story. Coming out videos are really helpful to those struggling, and you never know which video will be most helpful to any one person. Be confident in who you are. You are a good looking young guy which will make you very popular, but don't let guys use and manipulate you. Have a GREAT life!

Is it weird that when I was younger I always had crushes on other boys but never actually noticed they were gay crushes?? I remember liking a boy in my class when I was about 9 years old and it just felt normal.Now I know who I am but am confused that I never realised that I was gay before. Thanks for the video anyway Campbell :D

When I had crushes on girls (I'm a girl) I always thought it was like a special kind of friendship :D. Now looking back I definitely liked them in a romantic way

I liked this one a lot. And yep, you first has to come out to yourself. For me this was in the eighties. I was 18 when I for the first fully realized that I was gay. Nobody was happy. My parents were in panic, the neighbours should never know about this etc. I am still amazed how things changed over time, thank god. But 75% or more of the inhabitants in this world still are forced to hide their sexuality. In the muslim world and in Africa it is really bad. So sad.

Love your grandma, Campbell. As to how she knew, well for starters, she loves you, and, second, she's been around the block a few times. End result is you get to talk freely about boys - how I wish I'd been able to do that with my parents. You're a lucky fella, as well as being very good looking - it's a wonder your mum isn't outside fending the lads off with a broom! :)

old people are so comprenhensive...my granmother wasnt happy when i told her, but she wasnt disturbed either. My mother was really angry, she still is, but my grandmom could understand it and she now talks about it...idk why is it like that, i think old people are just more chilling

Hi Campbell! I think im in the same spot you were some time ago. This February was the first time I told anyone about my sexuality. In 1 week I had told my closest friends that im bi. About 2 months ago i told my twin sister but the thing is im not sure yet. I think im bi but i still dont know if im bi or gay. The thought still comes up in my head "what if im gay". And I almost want to be gay because being bi feels so weird but its not like i can choose. I just dont know if im only attracted to guys or if im attracted to both genders. This is so confusing and i feel helpless because i cant just hurry up the thinking process. Everything is so weird now. What can I do? I follow you and I was going to write this on twitter to you but it said that you have to follow me until I can send it. If you dont want to its completely okay I just thought that I could ask. to help figure out of your bi or gay - just think if the world was reversed and it was considered more normal to be gay, would you want to date a girl? or is it just that you still want to hold on to that little bit of "normalness" ??? idk haha

OMG Love it. I don't but this may sound weird. Whenever I'm around guys generally they never can tell that I'm gay unless I exaggerate a lot. But if I'm around girls they'll notice straight away.
