    Got mine three years ago and have never looked back. I have never been a Jeep guy but this Jeep stole my heart. It's just so much fun to play with and drive. It's not perfect by far but what a awesome ute. You can do so so much to them in anyway you want. And for reliability It's how you treat your equipment and I have friends have this Gladiator around the same time now and we see any dont see any issues or problems. I feel very safe all the 100k driving I have dobe on road and of road and I am still going. Take one for a test drive first. It's not everyone type of ute but it does stand more than the rest.

    American here. I just picked one up. Got rid of a f250 I used to build a rock crawler, and for actual work doing landscaping.
    I got it because I no longer need a truck capable of moving a small house, but I still want the "dirty" storage of a truck for stuff like hauling small loads of wood, trash to the landfill, game after a hunt.
    I also love offroading but want to get more mild stuff done instead of the cool youtube offroading.
    All in all, for me I think it's the perfect truck for what's on the market. Only way to be better would be a single cab, long bed with comparable towing.

    My kids are 18 and rate the back seat as much better than any other dual cab we’ve made them sit in. It is super comfortable and great long distance tourer. Love mine

    Had one of these for about 15 months and it was nothing but trouble. Electric problems, engine knocks and on 3 occasions just went completely dead. Finally traded it in was a very good day

    My challenge to those who criticise the Gladiator. Make sure you take one for a test drive first. It will change your opinion very quickly.

    I originally bought an Overland model with all the bells and whistles and it was perfectly fine….2 years after that I traded for a Mojave/Sand runner trim and am still as happy as day 1…it’s not for everyone, is expensive, but ultimately it is my preference….if you like it get it…you won’t regret it if you accept it for what it is and the limitations you will have to live with…then again the same is true for any other make out there… I live in a country where 9/10 vehicles on the road are Toyota Land Cruisers….

    Pick up my new one tomorrow , fyi my 3rd jeep , xj limited , KK Cherokee and the night eagle gladiator Our friends just purchased a second hand V8 79 series dual cab it's got lots of mods etc but still has an interior like a been gun carrier , has none of the std equipment of the Jeep and is down nearly 100 HP on the V6 normally aspirated jeep ! No Dana axles and diffs ,no zf transmission or 4 cam 24 valve adj cam timing no bed liner or lockable storage no std roll cage , the list just go on and on . I nearly wet myself when they asked if the jeep was a real 4wd 😂

    I have a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon, red with the black flares and roof like the one shown with one difference, I noticed the fender flares are smaller on the Australian model and it does not come standard with 33' or 35" tires, That a shame, must be a law over there, too bad you don't get the option of the larger tires - they really improve the offroad abilities.

    • @Mr83rt
      @Mr83rt 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      We can't have any of the tyre out past the furthest part of the car.
      So these guards meet Australian standards when imported here.
      If you put 35's on you have to extend the guard then have a mod plate made up by an engineer saying the modifications meet Australian standards.
      It's so hard to build cars here 😫

    Who should buy one of these? Well, we'll start with people without eyes. That'll help with the gopping looks. Then we can move on to people with enormous piles of money, to cope with Jeep's "legendary" reliability.
    I mean, look, the only reasons you'd get one of these over, say, a 70-series or a Ranger Raptor, is because you either do the hardest off-roading on earth, or you really, really, really want one.

    • @Ihateironyanddumbusernames
      @Ihateironyanddumbusernames 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The reliability point is over exaggerated by those who cant cope with the fact that jeep is the best offroader you can buy. Stick with the simple 3.6 engine youll be fine

    • @jeremybean-hodges6397
      @jeremybean-hodges6397 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Ihateironyanddumbusernames in all honesty, I doubt most people who buy one go within 1/10th of its offroading capabilities. It's got a reputation for being unreliable because, statistically, it's earned it - regardless of engine.

  • @Mr83rt

    I am very keen on one of these, hence the comment a year after this videos release.
    Im seeing a good mix of haters and lovers for this car, which brings me to my question, and that is.
    With the hate for Jeep and / or stellentis... is this a reliability issue or a customer service issue?
    I mean, it's one thing if every second car is breaking down and Jeep handles the situation great, and the customer has no complaints other than the car issue itself... its a whole different story if Jeep are giving customers the run around for known issues with their builds 🤷‍♂️
    As a tow truck operator, I've only ever had one of these on my deck, but that was because it was the first hell cat swap in Australia... is this because only 500+ units are sold a year in Australia, and we just don't see them, or are they really as bad as half of you claim??
