for a 2006 design and 2012 facelift/update the zx-14/14R are still great looking bikes 👍

2021 might be the last production year
My 2012SE 14R is likely to be the last bike I ever ride. Does everything, super comfy, super powerful and torquey, meets every need. I made 191 and 113 on pump 91 with just cheap Delkevic slip ons.
I live in Texas VP race fuel is in my back yard lady who was a secretary for a company i worked at her husband works for VP . when she brought my 5 gallons of VP fuel
He told her never mix VP fuel with anything but 87 pump gas. Other octane has additives that will make VP fuel LESS effective. Per VP fuels representative. JUST a heads up folks.

Had a 2013 full yosh flash dyno jets, and it did 210 HP with 126 of torques !!!!! The thing was like the TGV, when I twisted the throttle it was gone ! Just like a freight trains, it just kept pulling and pulling and pulling some more,

Ive always been a fan of the busa but I'm starting to see more and more of the zx14r on the road. I owned a 15 busa and did a voodoo exhaust and PC and loved it but I might look at a zx14r. I'm 6'4 and around 270lbs. With your knowledge on mods and such, which would you prefer out of the two and why?

Dammit I'm the biggest suzuki fan there is last 3 bikes I owned were hayabusas, can't deny it though them freaking 14,s make huge hp. Only reason why my second busa made more power than this 14 was because it had a huge turbo on it lol.

I just bought that same bike, just hit 200 miles. I want an after market exhaust but those short exhaust do not look good on the ZX14. I want the sound in a better looking exhaust. Any suggestions?
What's the rev limiter set at on those things? Just have to shed the weight.

With 3,000 KM it was to much
Of a bike for previous owner
HE was a FIFO worker to
Much Money and time home
Just walked in and purchased
It , he RODE up and down 1 in
From outside of TYRES ,it was still
Tight at 3,000 ( Soon fixed that up
Striped the TYRES by 6,000)
It WORRIES me that a BIKE Mechani
At 500 KM is doing that to a MOTOR

LET THEM BED IN , THE 14R HAS NOW
DONE 51,000 KM it is spot on ,previous
BIKE ZXR 12r 93,000 KM it was spot on
No or very little oil used , So no it is still
Tight , before SOMEBODY said about machining and way they are built, it
Your BIKE and l would not treat it

I have a 2014 GSXR1000 that has modes ABC, can i do a stage 2 on one of the those modes with out loosing power????
I have the same issue with my zx14 with a full exhaust.
This is why I always say these guys talking shit about how their tuned 1000cc bikes will beat up on a zx14R, are full of BS. The 14r will give the H2 all it wants and stomp it in the 1/4 mile drag.

I have the same exact bike and will be installing the same exact exhaust on. I will be sending my ecu in to get that same exact tune. Only question I have is was there anything else done to that bike or just all stock with the brocks on?

So through the stock ECU you can put 2 maps with out any need of a piggyback tuner (PCV, woolish, bazzaas etc.) ? Is that only for the 2020s or also gen 1 and gen2 ? Thank.

Just bought a 2nd gen Hayabusa , damn I feel like I been screwed !!!! Can't get nowhere near them numbers unless I get engine work !!! Oh well , it is comfortable .....
Busa is a better bike trust me I got an 08 ... easier and cheaper to work on and there are tons of aftermarket parts ...the best bike for top speed and drag racing....for racing choice.. how many zx14 you see at track
@@raybusa6086 Can't complain there . After I posted this , I've met 2 guys who have zx14s . After one tried to trade his for mine , the other dude blew his up a week later because of some faulty oiling problem they're known for .. Yep , I'm good ....

Why are horsepower figures so different everyone's saying different things manufacturers independent people like yourself dealer told me my Fireblade from back in the day hard 180 brake horse turns out it's nothing like that just confusing manufactures should state what bikes produced at back wheel this will clear up any confusion

2020 and Kawasaki still hasn’t put a quick shifter on the 14r to come with it stock like all other liter bikes. Pathetic.
this bike is more of a GT sport than a pure sport bike. hence why they did that. it's not supposed to race fast as it's heavier than dark matter.

Are Dyno tunes necessary if you are not racing?
It allows you to fine tune the air fuel ratio to make your bike run optimally.

Is it possible to get a mr12 tune on stock ecu no PC none of that for gen 1 busa. Possible for 2 maps or only can have 1? Thanks
@Sogra Osti perfect because I have an 03. I wonder what a stage 2 type of session goes for. 2 maps for bike 93 and MR-12. No one can give me a straight answer even tho the bike Is pretty basic.
You can always email Chris and see what he says. That's the best way to find out what you need to know. Just go to his website.
Your ECU must be flashed in order to properly use MR 12 otherwise you’ll just be wasting money and bike will not be performing at top level.
