Don't really have any great ideas on how to focus, but you are a good story teller. Your easy going pace and honest attitude is refreshing in today's world.
Joe, I like the random format you have been using. Most of us are homeowners and motorcycle riders too, so many of the things you have done in the past, from reviews of leaf blowers, or pellet stoves, or your Indian motorcycle, we all can relate to. I loved the ones where you were talking about the building of your home and clearing the land and landscaping it too. Naturally a motorcycle trip or just a ride, is always worth a video too.
Appreciate that input. Its hard to figure out TH-cam. Its crazy how some videos can get tens of thousands (or even 100s of thousands of views) and other videos only get 200 views. I really have no idea how TH-cam's algorithms work, but I know it likes regular content uploads.. and coming up with ideas on a regular basis is challenging. But I'm doing my best - while also trying to balance family life. lol.
@@randomstuffwithjoe Lots of times you have to have a title that gets people's attention (sometime even stretching the truth a little), like the "I'm Done with Indian Motorcycles. Time to get a Harley". People click on that to know what's going on. BTW...one idea for a video is a test ride on a Triumph Rocket 3, I know you said you like them. I certainly would watch that video.😊
I appreciate the openness and honesty. Just found you from your Honda 6mo review video. Keep the variety. Would like to hear about your life path and insights tips advice conscious decisions maybe finance and investing lessons etc. the train path worries me! lol. Not sure how many people are into build videos, I’d rather see the end demonstration and explain the process. Good luck.
@@scottklar1712 I have a hard time filming build process videos. I think I lack the patience for it (and perhaps the editing skills). My videos usually go straight to the end results with an explanation within the video. lol. I do intend to step up my TH-cam content in 2025. I recent got a insta 360 camera and I’m planning to get a better microphone to improve my video quality. Up to this point.. it’s all been filmed on my iPhone. Anyway, thanks for watching and best wishes for a fantastic new year in 2025.
I have a small channel where I fix and flip power equipment. I show different aspects of doing that, and show off stuff that interests me that I feel may interest someone else. Average income is $500-$1000 per month depending on the season, its sort of a spring/summer channel. I just checked a few minutes ago and I've made just shy of 50k with the channel since it was created. Not bad!
Thats awesome. Not bad for some additional passive income. My channel has really only been making money for about 6-7 months now, but its coming in around $5k for this year. My goal for 2025 is to double my subs and consistently upload content - 1x per week.
@randomstuffwithjoe that's a sound plan. Ive invested every cent of that 50k over the years into Bitcoin. I don't dare say how much it's ballooned into 😁
@@machinesnmetaloh my wife’s brother got in on bitcoin when it was $10 share. He cashed out last year and I can’t even begin to imagine how much he made.
New subscriber. I’m mid 50s as well and started a channel. Only a small amount of subscribers. It’s travel related. Haven’t done many long form videos yet. Mainly lives from drives and motivational shorts. You’re Authentic and true. That’s the reason I subscribed.
I did. It went to a young lady in Vermont. I was getting some cruel comments and emails on the video I posted saying it was "fixed" and I ended up removing it from the channel.
@@seanleau The video was only up for 2 days. I got a half dozen very rude emails and a few vulgar comments - and I realized it might be best to take the video down. I was pretty surprised by it.
Thx for the input. I do enjoy making videos on a variety of subjects. My goal for 2025 is to make more of an effort to get a video out every week. And possibly on the same day every week. I've read that TH-cam algorithms like consistency. I'd also like to make an effort and making my "presentation" stronger - if that makes sense. But like I said in this video.. I never intended to be here in the first place.. it just sort of evolved on its own. lol. Anyway, thanks again and I appreciate your comment. 🙂
Love the channel name and the random topics. The train thing is cool.
Thx for watching and thanks for the input. I truly appreciate it. 🙂

Well thank you for the kind words. I appreciate the support as I figure this whole TH-cam thing out. 🙂

Hi Joe, did you announce the giveaway winner yet? Or did I missed it?
I did. It went to a young lady in Vermont. I was getting some cruel comments and emails on the video I posted saying it was "fixed" and I ended up removing it from the channel.
@randomstuffwithjoe I guess I missed that part.

I tried a giveaway with few subscribers(150). Didn’t work for me.
Don't do it Joe. Don't fix what isn't broken (yes, pun intended, but also not). More content is a good direction, narrowing the focus...I think not.
