I started using the Reactivate serum from liiitlextra for the last month and completely moved away from my previous serum for the last two months. It's been fantastic. I simply apply it once daily with the spray pump included with the serum. It's really easy to apply, not oily, and no fragrance. The hair growth is up till now so great, and it's only one month only and I will keep to apply it.

I'd give reactiavatte hair serum 10/10. This is due to the results I had received from it.

@@gingertunstall7739 Hi. Education leans one toward critical thinking, and there by one gets possibly past symptom treating and working toward cause. The key to physicians is being able to diagnose. Unfortunately, not only to they not have the time energy and inclination to educate their patients, etc., they are also not exempt from not being able to diagnose correctly, and then after that, make the plan in place for the patient. There are good reasons why people are leery of the medical profession. I hear what you are saying, but I also hear other voices, in what you are saying. Of course we all generalize and you know where that gets one, in cultural stereo types on anything and everything. Yes, we are in and out, but some doctors will take the time to explore the patient's willingness to learn. People come educated to offices, much more so then before and that's just not by Dr. Google. Cheers.

It must be so tricky to make content like this as a doctor. I can see you often taking a moment to choose your words carefully and just seeing how often you have to clarify what you’ve just said (which I assume is so it’s not misunderstood or taken as personalized medical advice) makes my head spin 😵‍💫😅 God bless you 😅 You really are an excellent communicator and your content has helped me supplement my skincare over the last few years. I have suffered from intense dandruff for almost a decade, since I started puberty. I have picked my dandruff until sores have formed, due to anxiety related reasons and insecurities. I tried Nizoral a few weeks ago and my HAIR HAS TRANSFORMED. My scalp is no longer itchy. I tried so many things, Head & Shoulders, T-Gel, Apple Cider Vinegar. These things did not cure the fungal infection that I had for YEARS. I feel confident in my hair. Like wow. Please give it a try, it's OTC, got mine at CVS. A bit pricey at $15ish dollars, but SO. SO. SO. worth it. I was honestly shocked, because I thought it would never work. I thought I'd have to go back to square one. Just try it, dang it.

I've had a horrible itchy scalp for years, dandruff and flakes, and I hated it. I tried Head & Shoulders for a while, and thought it was getting better, but then I hit a really bad patch about 2 years ago. It was absolutely awful! Even fresh out of the shower (after washing my hair) and my scalp was still itchy, uncomfortable, and had flakes. It was actually an ASMR video that mentioned ketoconazole and how it can help with eczema on the scalp. Light bulb moment. Found it at my local Rite Aid and haven't looked back since. After the first wash, my scalp felt amazing. The flakes disappeared, the itchiness finally stopped.

I’ve been dealing with eczema for the past 3.5 years. I’ve always been prescribed triamcinolone acetonide ointments but they never truly go away. My contact dermatitis would come back again on my elbow, knee, and neck. Then I developed a really itchy rash on my belly. My mom had an ointment on her from a recent trip to Thailand. I used it (even though all the literature on it was in Chinese) because I was so desperate to make the itch go away. In three days it cleared up! Relief! I used google translate to discover later that it was 2% Ketoconazole! I used it on my other affected areas. They all disappeared in a few days. The rashes haven’t come back for the last 6 months. All those visits to doctors and they didn’t even really care to think that hey maybe the ointment we are giving her isn’t working? Dr. Dray is right. You have to be your own advocate. Used it on my kiddos contact dermatitis and it goes away in a day or two. Better than hydrocortisone which never works for us on this kind of rash.

I am so happy to have found you today! I am 56, was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis/folliculitis (sensitive, oily, very coarse, wavy, salt and pepper hair) on my scalp over 30+ years ago, and have tried everything. I visited the dermatologist in November and she told me I don't have seborrheic dermatitis anymore but I still have folliculitis and a very sensitive on the oily prone to scabs scalp. She advised me not to use any irritating products. I prefer clean natural products. I have found that a clean clarifying shampoo works best for me, leaves my scalp clean and clear, and keeps my hair cleaner. It allows me to to only shampoo only 2x a week.

Because I always slather sunscreen all over him when we go on walks or to the park, he asked me this morning about sun protection at recess and wanted me to put sunscreen on him this morning. I told him that his impulse was 100% correct and that we should be putting spf on him every day. He then asked about “reapplication” and insisted on taking his coolibar spf 50 hat to school to compensate for the fact that he wouldn’t be able to reapply. Omg. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It was so cute I almost died.

Both are excellent products. What has made the difference for me is leaving the shampoo on your scalp for at least 10 mins before rinsing out.......leaving it on a couple mins, wont cut it. I have also found that using the Dove conditioner for dry scalp that contains pyrithione zinc after shampooing is wonderful. Just my two cents ya’ll.........Your pretty dang awesome Dr. Dray.

I use over-the-counter Nizoral for my scalp issues (dandruff and something that seemed like fungus). I have a thyroid condition, I'm gluten intolerant, and have suffered hair loss. I live in Texas and my head sweats all summer long. I'm guessing the heat and sweat creates an environment that's conducive to fungal issues, etc. I tried several different natural things for antifungal but the Nizoral worked quickly. I leave it on for about 10 minutes and I also use a scalp massager to work it into the scalp. It doesn't smell medicine-y and I use a natural mask after I rinse my hair. My hair loss is minimal and some has grown back. I also have to keep my thyroid healthy in order to prevent hair loss. Thanks for your post.

I love Nizoral. My husband had tinea versacolor as a teen and treated it with Nizoral per his doctor. Out of the blue a few years back he had a recurrence and brought home the Nizoral. It stayed in the shower for months until one day I decided to try it (bc I never use the same shampoo 2 times in a row). WOW! My hair stayed clean for days. I have fairly oily hair. Now I use it a couple of times a month especially if I have an event where I want my hair to look extra good. Recently, I got athlete's foot so I tried it. I left it on for 10 minutes every time I showered for a week. Not only did my feet clear up almost immediately but my toenails and my fingernails (bc I rubbed it on with my hands) look amazing. I am going to start using it monthly on my toes and hands too. Why not? Glad to hear it is safe. Thanks!!

What is the difference between zinc pyrithione and ketoconazole, and is one better for female pattern hair loss?

No idea why the producers at Dr. Oz are not giving you a weekly segment. Seriously.

Thanks so much for this Doc. I have had bad hair shedding for years. Followed yr advice and tried 2% Nizarol (can buy over counter here in NZ). Whoa - major reduction in just a couple of applications. 👍🙌❤

Can i use nizarol shampoo everyday?. I have to wash my greasy scalp daily. I have horrid hair shedding and thinning since teens, now I'm in 30s

Ozoned oils, insufflation and IV (from an MD) with anti fungals have been good for me. And leave the shampoo on for 10 minutes minimum. 15 minutes is better.
