This site just kept giving and giving! Awesome finds by both of you. Thanks for all you are doing out there, and all the hard work you put in! You are both amazing! Take care and keep up the great work!
Wow! What a treasure trove of finds, that equisite cologne bottle, the ink bottle and can opener.Great to have these links to the guys who were stationed there,HH and EE really bringing history alive!👍👍
Agree , they are all just " junk " for most but cool small connections from the past. Thank you my friend for your great support and we send our greetings from us :)
Grew up around a few guys who were ww2 vets and fought across europe. One was about to cross into germany when his half track hit a mine and blew up. He was a great guy and missed. Seeing you go some of the places and dig artifacts makes me think of him and others i knew growing up.
I always love seeing what you both dig out of these sites. I love that only pot! So many cool items to be found in the ground. Take care and stay safe. 💖💯
Great video, HH. That place could supply all the museums in the world with little artifacts. I would not want to be working a dig on that incline in pouring rain. I hope both of you stay safe and well.
What a wonderful site. The old saying " One man's trash is another man's treasure " Thank you both for your continued hard work in sharing WWII History, and as always " Good Hunting "
You two are history magnets! You go the distance in rough terrain to bring us such interesting sites and the artifacts that are incredible!!! I am amazed by the huge variety of bottles and glass/ceramic pieces. Thanks so much for taking us along!! Stay safe guys!
This was such a great place and we are preparing something for you my friend. Will take some time but let you know when we ship it off. Thanks and greetings from us :)
Oh if only I could spend a day with you at this site all the little bottles I'd need a very big bag to take them all home! Archeologist just love middens as the stuff thrown away tell so much about who was there and what they were doing. Do you often find small denomination coins? Like Pfennigs from the 33-45 era? Ah ha there is that little blue bottle that was on the counter with the items to be cleaned in the monthly supporters video! Thank you for taking us along, stay well dear friends.
You will be the future keep of great bottles my friend for sure. Preparing something great for you my friend. We do sometimes come across coins yes. Thanks JuleyC :)
Woohoooo, I love it when you find a "dump" site!!! Lots of details of the area come alive. Interesting on how you found that "kreigmarine" button there. Was it a kreigmarine camp or ????? Just curious. And finding that can opener in great condition was great. Can't wait for when you go back there and dig around some more. Let EE just keep digging!!!! Thanks.
Truly great dump! An archeologist’s dream. Fun to see so many neat finds. Really nice that you recover the site to help keep it proper for the next explorers. Thanks for your enduring enthusiasm.
Now that has to be one of the best rubbish pits (or rather rubbish hill sides) ever searched. Such a variety of bits and pieces from the Germans, and, surprisingly, so close to, and even on, the surface. Just love the old bottles. So many different shapes and sizes. They really help to give a glimpse into the individual personalites of the men who served there. And seeing those all gas mask filters, especially the British type, was definitely a surprise. The radio batteries, and electronic bits, are always interesting to see. It really shows that at the end, everything that wasn't of use was just dumped. That site is definitely worth a lot more visits. Somewhere in there is the find of the century! Thank you so much for sharing this amazing place with us! Cheers to you both!
Amazing video, as always. So many artifacts to be found. Good work EE & HH. Definitely worth a return visit. Thanks for taking us along on another real history adventure. Stay safe. ❤❤
That is an amazing dumb pit, no metal detector needed. Just start digging. Great finds. Thank you and EE for taking us there, hope you have a chance to return. Hope all is well, can't wait for the next video.
That place is a hidden gem. It was overflowing with objects of historical interest. Gotta love those hand drawn diagrams. 😊 Hans, Wilfried, and Reinhardt are missing their heel irons. Were you able to bring back the battery, cologne bottle, intact German wine bottle, and gas masks along with some of the other artifacts back with you? I would go crazy with so many amazing finds. You needed a wagon. A dump site worthy of your time. I agree I often wonder about the stories and personal events that occurred on those historical sites. What were the German soldiers thinking or experiencing. They were human after all. Thank you for taking us there HH and EE and braving all types of weather conditions. ❤❤
HH, that was a little gold mine of small items, all of which carry their own story. Both EE and you must have felt like mountain goats, working and digging on that slope. Thank you for sharing with us. Stay safe and well my friends
What an exciting location. I was wanting to get in there with you both to what I could find. If amazing to see all the gas mask parts and heel irons that you were finding. Some very nice bottles were showing up as well. You hit the jackpot at this location. Hope you got to spend more time there.
Great exploration history hunter and eagle eyes I hope everything is well with you and your history hunting family and a massive thank you for sharing this history with us stay safe and keep smiling I can't wait to see what you share with us next
What an incredible dumpt site. Each piece that comes up links us with a soldier or an officer using the cologne or gas mask or can opener or ink bottle. Wow ones imagination can take flight and transport us back to WW2. Thank you for sharing history with us ❤
oh so many cool finds. Like you said about these are real things by real people, it's not always about weapons just because they were soldiers. Puts a different perspective on things. Love the dump digs :)))) thanks for sharing guys.
yes in a way every little detail is a small connection with the pst and we kind of like that. More to come and thanks so much for your great support :)
What a location I wounder what you can find the deeper you go or the further you go up the incline , is there more in the area that your going to explore , so many artifacts and only so much space to bring them back.
It sucks I would actually do this myself and actually go mentally attacking and all that, but I live in the United States and obviously the war did not make it over here, really. I can probably do something you don't like that civil war because I live near there but even then not as cool
This site just kept giving and giving! Awesome finds by both of you. Thanks for all you are doing out there, and all the hard work you put in! You are both amazing! Take care and keep up the great work!
Much appreciated Cindy and we are preparing something for you my friend :) Thanks so much for your kindness and we send our greetings from us :)

Hi HH & EE,
That's the advantage that you can find a lot when you visit historical places where few others go.
Indeed so and we loved to share that with you Oma :)
Really cool stuff
Appreciated my friend :)
It's full of stuff !!!
It sure is and thanks so much my friend :)
What a location I wounder what you can find the deeper you go or the further you go up the incline , is there more in the area that your going to explore , so many artifacts and only so much space to bring them back.
There is tons more there it is just a matter of spending time finding it. Thanks my friend :)
Hi,
the gas mask cartridge is clearly Soviet, not English.
nice video.
Thanks for watching.
0:37 Hello
Hello
you got artefacts literally at your fingertips!
Indeed and a great explore it was :)
Hi great explore again , do you ever find WHW badges ?
yes we do and have found several earlier. Thanks for watching.
It's amazing that these items are just laying there waiting to tell their stories to whomever finds them! Great video, guys!
We agree and we loved to share that history with you my friend :)
@WW2HistoryHunter I love watching your videos on Sunday mornings with a nice hot cup of tea. Best of wishes to you and EE!
can you have a video where you use search for things in the ground?
we have lots of such videos. Just check them out. There will be several such videos coming soon as well. Thanks.
Wine bottle tops can be used in playing electric guitars
i see and thanks :)
Where was this camp. Which region/country. Fascinating video. Thank you
Locations are not given. Thanks.
Another interesting video. Take care with British gas mask filters as they contain blue asbestos.
Indeed and thanks for being here :)
Love that button wow
