Another location that looks very pretty, but I would not want to be there all year. You know it would be miserably cold in the winter! Thanks for taking me, guys. Until next time, take care.
Totally so and i have been there in a winter storm with 42 m/sec gusts and it is insane. Great in summer. Thanks Larry and we appreciate you my friend :)
That machine gun bunker had a real birds eye view of the surrounding terrain! What a view! You need to be dressed well to stand to in the winter! The gun position was well hidden! The tunnel was really a bonus! Rusty shell casing was a nice find! Trenches everywhere, what a job to produce these things in this terrain! You need a time machine HH! Another interesting tour HH and EE!
Once again you have taken us to a beautiful coastal loction, with breathtaking sceanary. So much still remaining and in very good condition, no stupid grafetti all over the walls. That trench system was amazing, to think all laid by hand. Well done EE on the research, you are getting better than Dad now at this. Thanks for sharing with us all. Stay safe and well my friends
Another great site. Listening to the wind in the mike, I was thinking of winter with a storm off the Atlantic. Frostbite had to be an issue in the latter part of the war. It's surprising how good a condition the place still is. I love the shell remains. As always, the video team of HH and EE did a fabulous job. Stay well and safe.
Yes that winds in that region can be horrific in the wrong season. Very usual with more then 40-45 m / sec there in severe storms and they last for days. This is a great place overlooked by so many people as they can see it but is is there. Loved it. Thanks SO very much for your kindness my friend and magic will soon commence :)
Agree , what a fantastic beautiful area and such a great explore that day. Loved it. We thank you my friend for taking time to be here and for your great support :)
What a fantastic location, love the Atlantic Wall tours. I agree with you about seeing this location with all the activity going on. Well done and thank you and EE for the tour. Hope all is well and stay safe out there my friend.
This is a true beautiful location and such cool details there to see. WE loved it and very glad you enjoyed it my friend. All is well here right now and appreciate you my friend :)
Love that trench system. It's always nice to see these things almost as they were, and to imagine what it was like be there in all weathers. Freezing cold in Winter, warm and windy during the Spring and Summer. The tunnel through the mountain was a surprise but you can see why they went to the enormous effort to do it, but the amount of work involved to create these tunnels, and the trench system, is just astoundiing to think of. But you certainly see why they chose that spot. With views out to the horizon in almost every direction, that mountain really dominates the coastline for kilometres around. Thank you for sharing this amazing location, and those spectacular views out to sea! Stay Safe! Stay Strong!
Wonderful on a hot calm summer day but horrendous on a insane windy autumn day. It really clicked all the boxes that place there and we loved to share that with you my friend :) Thanks and more to come soon :)
Another very fine exploration - and what incredible views! Very interesting about the weather, it being almost zero and yet looking so green and lush lol. I'd love to see that particular location myself someday. I'm really intrigued by the little room which must have been a comms shack; I would have looooved to have seen it as it was originally set up. Thanks yet again!
Another very exciting exploration eagle eyes and history hunter thanks for sharing it I hope everything is coming together for your next exciting explore
Very cool place to see ! And not fouled up by the Graffitti Hounds ! Much of it in very pristine condition too , and the trenches are so well made and preserved ! awesome views and yet another shoreline challenge for me ! You know , I Never Surrender ! And you guys never cease to amaze me ! 🤓🧐🥰
It’s fantastic every time you discover something you didn’t expect at a location. It appears this area is being well taken care of. You always deliver on your explorations. I wonder if the artillery shell you found was a complete shell that was left there? While these areas are beautiful for its views, I would imagine it wore a soldier out going up and down these hills carrying gear. Thanks for another interesting video.
Loved the trench system, but the work to make it had to be horrendous! Scenery beautiful in the summer but winter had to be a nightmare. Thanks for the tour!
So nice to finally be caught up with your videos! Chuckle, "Chis Brown"? Think you left a "r" off of my name. 😆 Cool site, magnificent views from up on top of the hill. Man, could just hear the wind blowing as you visited the site. Loved that tunnel with the rooms that looked to be a Pak garage. The trench systems were really great.
yes pretty strange that is. It is such a beautiful location and just the view itself is worth all the walking. Great explore and thanks so much Darrell from us :)
What a pretty area; spectacular views too!!! Neat on how they did that tunnel. Surprised they didn't have more "rooms" in it,but it was prob most for storage and access to each side of hill. Loved the stone trenches and amazed that they are still solid!!! Thanks for sharing this with us. Enjoyed it a lot.
19:26 they say if you paint the room white, it’s a lot more brighter with the artificial lighting(such as electricity, lightbulbs, etc.)! 22:54 PANCAKE? WHERE!?
What a stunning location, once again EE.s meticulous research reaps rewards. That Flak position was very cool with the bonus of a little tunnel sysetem, also the bunker with the detail of where the comms were located.HH thanks for high lighting the fact that the trench system was an integral part of the The Atlantic Wall,it was not all about huge bunkers.👍👍
Yes my friend this little hill proved that history can be everywhere and so glad we found that. Interesting it sure was. Thanks so much for your great support and more to come soon :)
Could you make playlists for your series, like “Touching History Tour” and “Never Surrender Tour”? I’d like to go back and binge watch by series. If not, no worries. Also, more soldier names: Claus, Dieter, and Christoph. 😉😆
@@WW2HistoryHunter I always get a kick out of Wilhelm and Frederic. 😆👍🏼 Yeah, I could just make my own playlist, so no worries. But maybe it would make it easier for subscribers to enjoy past series/tours.
Watching various documentary on Depart X breaking the Enigma Code, the Germans thought the D day landing would be near Calais and they were ready with their troops. Their downfall was relying on the machine thinking it was unbreakable but Turing thought otherwise.
I've always wondered if there is anything hidden inside the bunkers such as a room that got sealed up with concrete in the last days of being there. I could see the concrete painted and blended in to look like a regular wall but really not!!!
Love this site! The trenches were in excellent shape, but the thing that really caught my eye was the beautiful farms down below stretching to the sea. The views are amazing. And NO, I would not want to be there in Winter! Been there, done that, it sucked lol. I hope the Germans issued better gear than the standard boots, pants and jackets to these men.
Hiya HH team 👋🏻 Cooool stuff as always guys 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👌🏻 I’m guessing HH you have plotted on a map every location you have been to, & have you covered the entire Atlantic Wall yet? See you soon👀 🇬🇧🫶🏻🇳🇴

What a beautiful location. Thank you for sharing it with us. Great job.
We agree Bob it is truly stunning views there. EE loved it and glad we could share that with you :) Thanks from us and be safe out there :)
If you had a metal detector you could’ve probably still found the metal bolts for keeping the 3.7mm gun in place in that gun emplacement
Could be yes. Thanks for watching.
An amazing explore, so much to see, thank you for taking me with you.
Some really good places still out there my friend. We hope you are having a great tie out there and keep smiling :) Greetings from us :)
The feild at the front of the hill looks like a runway
It is not but the Germans did have a fake airfield strip a bit away from here. Thanks for watching.
just in general, the view from the top of that hill out to the water is amazing
I know , just so great and makes it all so worth going there. Thanks and more to come :)

That shell remains looks like an 88
We thin it is from the Feldkanone as it is a very short cartridge. Thanks for watching.

Hi HH & EE,
The bunker is built in a great location, with an unobstructed view all around.
Agree Oma , such a fantastic location and the view alone is worth all the walking. Thanks and be safe out there :)
A amazing experience that must have been. Looking forward to seeing more. ❤️✌️😎👍
Most definitely it was a special day out there. Great day. Thanks so much Robert from us :)
