    I really like how you give credit to the person from whom you first learned a technique. That is very generous of Spirit. Your skin seems to glow more beautifully with every new video. Are you changing the way you are eating?

    • @nappyheadedjojoba
      @nappyheadedjojoba  7 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Thanks Ms. Chicoro! I can't imagine why people don't credit their inspiration, but it is a disturbing trend, here on YT.
      Re: my skin/diet, absolutely not, haha. I've been eating semi-poorly, in fact, and am constantly trying to get back on my grind with staying away from sugar, grains, soy and dairy. But, thank you so much for the kind words!

    Hello Dear. Thank you for the " shout out". I still use the clay washes, l love it. That Terressential was too too expensive.👍🏽

    I wish I had the patience for a mud wash because I can barely muster the patience for a face mask from bentonite clay. Also started watching the content on Cinefix and I live for your wit and humor💜

    I love Roots4U45 she is amazing! I have Rhassoul clay and Kaolin clay which I use when making soap trying these soon. Bentonite clay is cool, but a little harsh on my strains. Great DIY will be trying, after I infuse my oil of choice. I have Neem, nettle herbs.

    Gorgeous as always. Love the wrap. Since we're on the topic of clays and I know your aversion for fragrances, I wondered if you'd heard about a Benzonite clay/ACV underarm detox. It's just 1/2 tbs clay and enough vinegar to form a paste. Spread on clean underarms, leave on for 15-20 min and rinse off. I did it this morning and IT WORKS!! No smell at all, 12 hrs later! And if you did need to freshen up say after the gym, you can use a lemon/lime wedge and run under your arms. AMAZING! Sorry for the War and Peace length comment, but as soon as I tried I had to tell you! Have a great day, night whenever you read this 😊

    I use rhassoul clay. I've tried bentonite clay, but it's a little drying for my hair even with oil in the mixture.

    Yes! Bougie, extra, stimulation, squirting mud wash recipe! I'm gonna try this ^_^ I just got the Hot Heads deep conditioning heating cap, too! My hair is about to be luxurious! Thanks for another amazing video, Ti! Hope you have WONDERFUL time traveling!
    Also, the MBS has been going well! My workouts/eating wasn't so great this last because of mega stress, but my meditation and mindfulness got me through (so much that I feel like it's a win over all). Much luv chica!

    Love the makeup look!!! I tried the French green clay after you mentioned it but I can't remember if I liked it lol. I love rhassoul over bentonite, it makes my hair softer and defines my curls better. I did buy the Terressentials but I didn't get the hype. You're going to love Europe!! Instead of Barcelona I went to Madrid, which I loved!! Enjoy your time #blackgirlmagic

    Is green clay more conditioning/moisturizing than rhassoul clay? Does it have a lot of slip where it's easy to apply to hair? Like rhassoul because it very moisturizing to the hair but it doesn't get real thick or have a lot of slip like bentonite clay

    Hey! I know I'm a bit late to this video, but I just wanted to ask if you can use mud washes for caucasian hair? I have 3A hair and have been trying to look for more natural ways to cleanse and moisturize.
    PS- I absolutely LOVE your vids and have been binge watching them!

    • @nappyheadedjojoba
      @nappyheadedjojoba  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! I certainly can't see why you couldn't use a mud wash -- the key is just finding a recipe that works for your hair (whether it's dry, oily, etc.). If you're not sure where to start, check out Terressentials. That's a commercial mud wash, and it's what I used before deciding to just make my own. Hope that helps!

  • @amberlane1808

    Are you still using your amazing prepoo concoction?

  • @caraj8949
    @caraj8949 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow, never thought to use my bentonite clay (my preference), wash after shampooing. I too used to use Terressential, but I make my own now. Nevertheless, shampooing first makes sense after hearing your rationale. I think I will try it this Friday (wash day). Would you recommend pre-pooing before shampooing and clay washing? I noticed you don't use ACV in the mixture, any particular reason? Thanks. I always enjoy your videos and commentary.

    • @nappyheadedjojoba
      @nappyheadedjojoba  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I do still prepoo, using my detangling potion that I shared a few months back. I always do my major detangling before I wash, and then just try to preserve the detangling I've done, through the rest of my routine -- and the clay wash *really* helps with that! I don't use ACV in my mixture because I don't find it to be necessary, due to the acidic nature of aloe vera gel/juice. Hope that helps!
