I've been using this for a while but without the oil as I needed a hair cleanser, it is very moisturising and makes my hair feel lovely. After a while I have found that the rhassoul adds to the existing moisture build up in my hair, rhassoul is very rich so should be used sparingly for fine hair which I have. I am now going to use this recipe may every 3 washes and use bentonite into between.

I have switch to bentonite clay wash instead of shampoo weekly. I use it loosely with 1/4 c of clay 4 ozs of distilled water and 4ozs of aloe vera juice, 1tbsp of apple cider vinegar. I do use a lot of butter cream and hot oil treatment and deep conditioner with your protein treatment in it. it's winter time and it's cold in St. Louis now. I protect my ends and indoor heating can dry your hair so i mist and oil the tips. I keep the ends dusted when needed. keep it up! Thanks great job!

Last month I used bentonite clay mixed with ACV for the first time in 2yrs but because I did not allow it to stay up to 10mins on my hair, I decided to use it again last week. Left it for 25mins, deep conditioned after then. A few hours later, I started having breakage. I currently have my hair in twist, but still, the end of my fur is falling. I am low porosity and thinking of doing a protein treatment but the first time I did this, my hair was matted and I struggled to detangle.

Love Love Love your videos. They are scientifically grounded and so helpful. You break things down in a way that I can understand and your instructions are so succinct. I wondered whether you could use aloe Vera juice instead of apple cider vinegar in the recipe. Would the aloe Vera juice have the proper PH? Please let me know and keep making these great videos!

To add moisture because the clay can be very drying on its own.

Hi Green Beauty! Thank you for another informative video. Two questions, 1) could one still prepoo their hair before using the clay recipe? and 2) can one only use a regular rinse out conditioner after the clay recipe or deep conditioner too? I never do wash day with prepooing and deep conditioning. Thank you!!
