Hey Brian I have a problem with my 2010 bk1. I just replaced the new turbo with an actuator, but it idles at 15psi and when I drive it it gets up to 32 psi then goes into limp mode. I have a hks and I’m running the same solenoids as in the video could you please help me with this problem!
I have 2013 genesis coupe 2.0t and my blow off valve doesn't blowoff like it should the only time it blows off is when i let of the gas if I keep on accelerating it will overboost and go in to limp mode and I also have no cel. What would cause this Brian?
@@chriswiltse6014 if you were over boosting it would be a turbo / wastegate issue. If you are running the TXS BOV then you need to run it to the intake manifold, if you’re still having issues then it’s likely that you need to add the provided washers to fix the spring pressure. Also if the bov doesn’t work correctly then it will go into limp mode.
Seco solenoids are done in batches. They’re like a once a year thing. However you could get a knockoff from burger tuning only downside is you’ll have to source the extra hardware and get new barbs

Would you be able to do a video talking about what would be needed to install a gfb gforce 3 boost controller, and if its necessary? It’s unclear to me what happens to the original boost control system if that is installed
You just need to get tuned for it. That’s it. It’s a simple swap with the stock one. Everything else is basically plumbed the same way. I don’t find a boost controller useful unless it’s over the 400 wheel mark. No reason to self regulate boost pressure unless you’re trying to be as careful as possible with boost levels.

No. The only 3 reasons why 2261 will show is if the solenoid can’t keep up with the aftermarket bov The solenoid goes bad Or if the bov itself isn’t working

But all of my customers use the seco solenoid or a aftermarket 3 port and it always fixes their problems or getting a good bov like the synapse bov

If you have a seco solenoid then you shouldn’t have any additional hoses
