Can't wait to see what Blockhead do with that Shovelhead ... they do some great content. @M.A.D Detailing ... please keep the barn find Harleys coming :)
Hey guys, awesome work on detailing this beautiful Harley! What’s the spray you guys used for the chrome to remove all that rust and make the chrome shine again?
saya cukup kagum dgn usaha anda yg cukup rajin.. sabar dn berusaha dlm menjalankan tugas anda. tahniah atas usaha anda yg terbaik tu..semoga menjadi tauladan kepada ank ank muda diseluruh dunia.. salam dari malaysia.. good job..
If you want to get the plastic AND metal looking really smooth, try Menzerna Metal Polishing cream. I notice it also works really well on scratched up gauge pods if you use a soft foam block underneath a silk eyeglass cloth.
Just came from the *BLOCKHEAD* video Wow 😮amazing job guys, very satisfying video , subbed Greetings from Romania 🇷🇴 Been following Blockhead for many years,i too am a motorcyclist,i ride a Kawasaki Vulcan 800
I just bought a 1984 Harley FHL a been stored for 15 years so my barn find had 8327 miles on her and hasn’t seen any day light in 15 years this video giving great ideas on the cleaning I’m going to do on my bike thanks for posting
1983 was such an oddball year. 2 totally different touring models (5 speed rubber mounted motor chain drive) or 4 speed solid mounted motor belt driven. Nice bike!
Nice work on a really old bike. It'd be smart to have you guys detail a bike that someone wants to sell. It would bring in more than the cost of detailing. Thanks.
this was an incredible transformation. Ive been watchign videos of detailing motorcycles to "up my game" and this one was a true transformation. I need to do some paint correction on my bikes, and would you say the Rubes 3" mini would be a great tool that is high quality to last a long time? I was also looking at the Griots Garage G8 mini because it comes with both 3 and 2" disks, plus a pro kit that would also include 1" disks for $350 total.Curious to hear your thoughts Which Nano 1" polisher were you using for the detail work?
The before and after is CRAAAAZY! Sick work as always MAD! 🤘
Eeeey if it isn't the bikeaholic himself
👊🏻
I knew I recognized this Harley lol

An iron remover and either 000 or 0000 steel wool

What kind of chemical that you used to remove the rust by the way?
you have already restored it to yourself, seen how it was and seen how you have cleaned it up and pampered it!
Great Job!!!!

When pressure washing, how do you avoid causing a short with the electronics ?

Somebody should come out with a xxxx brillo pad that fits on a DA polisher
You did an amazing job on the beautiful Harley but I didn’t hear what you did to clean the windshield? Thanks!
Very nice. Wish you were in TX.
Nice work on a really old bike.
