Just for anyone wondering: this is an LMTV-Light Medium Tactical Vehicle, troop carrier version. The single rear axle indicates that it’s light.
Then there is the MTV Medium Tactical Vehicle, which has two rear axles. 63B all wheeled vehicle mechanic, I worked on and drove these trucks for 8 years in a reserve unit in Idaho. Also, in Virginia we used up-armored versions with trailers to haul pipe for IPDS- Inland Petroleum Distribution System.
Thanks for this and taking me back, really brings back some great memories.
It evens tells you the division and battalion on the vehicle
As someone who drove these trucks for a long time. This is the best detailing I’ve ever done. We never even cleaned the insides 😂. Great job!!
Made our Soldiers clean their equipment out at COB each day before they were released. They stopped being blue falcons real quick.
@@scottstamm7022 Who made the soldiers clean their equipment?
@@tedlym.3390 every NCO in the Army. Don't trash the government equipment, trash your POV if you want though.
What kind of truck is this? is made in the US?
@@lordveider we generally call them FMTV's (family (of) medium tactical vehicles) [or] LMTV (lightweight medium tactical vehicle) depending on the axles and weight raiting.
Come back please i love your Videos i miss These Videos
when are you gonng make a new video or a channel or you gonna make more videos? why are you are not doing update on your channel ?what are you gonna do another 2024
The touch-up paint really made a huge improvement!! Great job on the doors!
So happy for you bro. I’ve been with this channel from the start and to see where you came from to where you are now is amazing. Get to a million subs!! It’s going to happen!!
Keep up the great work. 👊🏾✊🏾
Bro that’s going over and beyond, love your passion and wish every bit of success and hope you reach all your goals. Love how you take nasty and dirty and make it beautiful again
Love the finishing touches on this one. Well done!
I’m glad your back in action your videos are my favorite ones to watch
You did a great job on the painting and thanks for another great and satisfying video! Can't wait for the next video!
My brother worked on those trucks during the Vietnam War. You made that truck look a whole lot better than when we first saw it. Great job.
uh these trucks first hit the ground in the mid 80's as a prototype
These trucks weren't really out until the 1990s. But we did have the older style 2 1/2 ton and 5 ton trucks though.
That didn't happen my brother. Maybe he worked on a M35 Deuce and a Half.
It looks better than it did when it first showed up to the Battalion Motorpool! Great job
Better not great
It's been fun to share this journey with you, Foster. Congrats!
That spray paint made that detail perfect.. can’t believe how good it matched
As a former Combat Medic we used these trucks for everything including patient evac. I really commend you on the detail job. I know the guy paid you for this but I appreciate the detail you took.
That was great to see! Doing an old army truck makes for a welcome change in alot of detailing channels well done!
As an Army veteran I enjoyed this video.
Another fantastic restoration it looks 10 times better than it did when it rolled into your shop you do a fantastic job
You coming back? Been a while since we've seen a new video
That's from the Third Infantry Division out of Ft Stewart GA, previously assigned to the Medic Platoon of Headquarters and Headquarters Troop of the 3rd Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment.
3/7CAV was under the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, up until it was deactivated in 2015.
I supported 3/7 in the 70's when we were in Germany. ( they had Sheridans, then and wore black berets) Had to stop and recall what the bumper numbers were saying.
I'd love to see more big truck content!
Drove the LMTV many times... we use to just hose them off inside and out with high pressure water canons... so you should have just power washed the inside. All military vehicles are designed to do deep water crossing!
Oh loved the painting you did Wow.
Как вы красиво и ровно обновили рисунок на двери! Круто!
Great job on the truck and I can't wait to see what you have coming up
So happy to see this monster back with his glory😂 you did the magic
Awesome video and restoration ❤
Happy to see you back xxxxx

And WOW ! Just seeing the mildew, being swept after using the MAD detailing all purpose cleaner is so satisfying 💯👏🏽👏🏽
SICK!!
I love how you havnt flexed your g80 on every thumbnail lol, new here btw 💯
The paint is CARC (chemical attack resistant coating) you can use a scrub brush on it and not hurt it. I was In the Army when these came out. They were pretty fun to drive.
Congratulations on the new space & all your success!!!
Nice attention to detail 👍🏾
Where you been bro, haven't seen a detail in months bro

Looking forward to that next video! Also can't wait to get my vehicles to you guys for cleaning!
We had a notorious LMTV in our motorpool in Ft. Hood that would powerbrake lol. I loved that thing on the tank trails.
Great job, what camiccal do you spray before wash
that was a huge service !
The vehicle is ready for service 💯
Inspired me to do some painting myself , I'm just a novice at restoration, but it really spruces up the coachwork doesn't it ?
Well done, bro 👍👍👍👍👍
Congrats on all your success! You folks have absolutely earned it!
Regarding shaky hands, I bet im worse! I tried to help paint my GFs fingers once and my god I couldn't even lay down a straight line if everyones life depended on it.
Love your work but you guys need to post more!!!! Plz
Great job
You are the MAN BROTHER. Can’t wait for the new videos.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome video, just curious what kind of sprayer you're using for the all-purpose cleaner?
Congratulations on the new place
Are you coming back to make more videos? I see your ads on Facebook all the time. Hope you are doing well
Banger.
Would love to have one of those.
Just curious about what steamer do you use? Thanks!
Hi,
how long do you let it soak the apc on a car ?
Oh the LMTV. Memories of riding in the back in rain and snow to go camp in the woods 😂😂😂
I would love to have one of these trucks
so good
Is that apc safe on trade wraps? Ceramic? Wheels?
Love it
as a 91b ive worked on this dang truck so much lolol

I believe this vehicle was stationed at Ft. Stewart stenciled 373 CAV Medic HQ.

Good excellent video congratulations, could you make a video with a motorhome 🎉🎉🇵🇹👍🌞
Now this is crazy
I am neither pro or anti military, but it is sad when you see these old workhorses in this condition, but yoy brought it make to life, well done, bedt regards from Australia
Great video, what camera do you use?
What kind of pressure washer hose do you use?
Guys post another video. I can’t handle just detail geek for much longer!!!
Hey Im 15 and ive been geeting lately into detailing and washing vehicles my uncle and family says i should open a buissness do you have any products that i could try to use or any tips i love your stuff and love your content
The scene where cleaned the bed without APC initially really highlighted how much work that stuff does!
Cleanest MTV in the nation 😂🤘🏼
I believe an MRAP…. either Buffalo or a MAXX PRO ….deserves your love you put into your craft.many service women and men would light up when this happens.
Love to own that truck
wow looks amazing I guess the Army is going to want their truck back now
Fantastic job. Just shows what you can do with the right chemicals and equipment. could you please tell me what kind of chemical sprayer that your using. Thanks ahead.
Just as i was about to say, to myself, he missed a spot. You went back, and did not miss the spot! 😂 Nice video. I enjoyed it!
Foster this was SICK! I miss your videos bro. Good job as always🫶🏻 congratulations on the property and the huge business with the shop! You deserve it all dude seriously.
What amount of water is used in a detail like this?
I am just curious.
Does the pressure makes water usage go higher or lower??
Amazing cleansing liquid. I wonder if I can get it in Sumatra.
Prefer the green over the cream great truck mate good job
Огонь.🎉
It is an "M1078, 2.5 ton cargo. The latest Army's capover design. I used to write the Army's training materials for this and other vehicles.
is that CARC paint?
