I like that the Combi will set temp low enough to proof the dough. I normally boil a cup of water in the microwave then put my dough in. That works too! The fact that the Combi makes steam means great French Bread as well!
I bought a combi and I’ve used it for every meal since. I think it’s something everyone should have. Either this or something similar. I’ve been trying to get off processed food for awhile and this is exactly what I needed to do that
Yes!!!!! This makes weeknight meals and meal prep easy for everyone to do......The more processed food we can eliminate from our meals the better off we will be......I wish more people understood the impact the processed foods has on our health. Thanks so much for watching!
I just bought the combi and have been watching your video's glad you share so many. after watching this video I am going to try and make a loaf of bread to see how it works. Looks so easy. Thanks for sharing.
I bought a combi. Took it back. Glass door condensation, pans too hard to get in and out especially when hot, and interior awkward to clean. Only advantage over ninja speedi was larger interior. Went back to speedi.
This is the only video on making bread in combi. I use the no need bread recipes and was wondering how steam would work with bread. First proof is in oven with light on now can do in combi.
Yes the first proof in the combi would be like in the oven with the light on... I have not tried the steam with bread yet but may work nicely....definitely worth experimenting with as I make most of the bread we eat. Keep watching for whole wheat berry ground flour bread. I have a grain grinder ordered and looking forward to more bread videos! Thanks so much for watching!
Yes most definitely King Arthur amzn.to/43krOEy! It is a 1 for 1 swap for bread flour. I recently have started milling my own Wheat Berries but prior to that, I would use this KA. I do not have a gluten allergy but white flour definitely was causing me some inflammation issues ,b ut if you do not have a wheat allergy, I highly recommend researching whole wheat grains and the health benefits of it. Sue Becker is where I first became aware of how wicked white flour has become. When baking with flour I always opted for King Arthur whenever possible and their gluten free I found to be very good as well! Check out the affiliate link for the flour or some Walmarts and grocery stores do carry it. Thanks so much for watching!
Please try proofing and baking a loaf of AP and Whole grain Einkorn bread. I am Gluten sensitive and Einkorn is a perfect ancient grain. I would love to see a video using the combi for Einkorn flour. Also, one question, why didn't you use the bake cycle? Thx.
The trivet made me lol. Thank you for this video! Super helpful! Do you have any advice on adapting any bread recipe to combi cooker? Im assuming proofing in there is faster than on the counter?
Yes it just speeds up the proofing process, especially now in the colder months. Just keep an eye on it till you get the desired size of your proof. I am still perfecting my proof time in the speedi with my white loaf, the texture was not perfect but a good start.
I'm not completely sure about that, but the glass and the steam would scare me away from using pyrex. Maybe on a low temperature on just the bake function.
No special pan, this is the 1 lb usa brand loaf pan linked in the description. This is the same pan I use in a regular oven for years. I butter the pan lightly and have never had a loaf that did not easily remove from the pan. Thanks for watching!
Made my first loaf…it’s a disaster, brown on top and internal temp didn’t even hit 150, put it back in taking a very long time to reach 190…ugh. Don’t know why mine didn’t work. Combi is new as of this morning. 🤨
I'm not sure why you would have that problem, I cook bread in mine all the time to not heat the kitchen with the oven. 350 degrees is what I cook mine at. Maybe try combi bake instead of combi crisp. I use both but crisp may be cooking it to fast on top.
I guess I was thinking a crisper Crust to protect the inside of the bread but bake will work also. Thanks so much for watching and much more bread videos to come as I have purchased a grain mill...

Yes I love the proof function for a quick loaf. I will definitely have to give the french bread a try in the combi.
YOU are a keeper!! I can hardly wait to make a loaf of bread in our new Combi! Thank you!!
Thank you! 😊 It is so much better than store bought bread! Thanks for watching!

You are going to love the combi and be amazed at how quickly dinner can be made! Thanks for watching
I’ve just made this loaf. It came out perfect! A keeper for sure! Thank you so much 🙏❤️
So glad! Thanks for watching! More bread recipes to come, trying to get my sourdough perfected!
Can you show us how to make sour dough bread in the combo ? 😊
I will definitely give it a try!
I am so glad you made this video!!! I was reluctant to consider buying Combi. However this combi is a game changer!
Yes it is! I am still amazed at how quickly weeknight meals and food prep for lunches for the week can be prepared. Thanks for watching!

It is a little bit more cumbersome than the speedi, but I like the amount of food I can make at one time, so I use them both. Thanks for watching!
@conniehanold3294 Do you still love your Speedi? Have you made bread with it using the steam and crisp?

I'm going to try this using gluten-free flour. Do you have any recommendations?
Thank you!

This looks amazing
Thank you! I think it needs a little tweaking but for a first loaf it came out awesome! Thanks for watching!
Can you bake the bread in a pyrex loaf pan, or must it be a metal pan? TIA
I'm not completely sure about that, but the glass and the steam would scare me away from using pyrex. Maybe on a low temperature on just the bake function.
Do we need special loaf pan for this ninja or we can buy anything ?

Guuurrrl! Yes! 😮❤
No need for store bought bread ever again! Thanks for watching!
Why did you choose crisp over bake?

Has anyone proofed raised yeast egg white bread in this machine? Results?
I have not proofed bread with egg. Thanks for watching!
Which size is that round pan?
It is an 8 inch cake pan. Thanks for watching!
