How hard indeed! Ma'am, are all BPO companies applying the same process of Hiring like you have to undergo different skill tests? There has to be exemption for the newbies at least. Of course they don't know the whole system yet. It's no wonder why many new applicants couldn't get in. Are there no trainings inside the company like enhancing communication skills, computer literacy, etc.. for the beginners? Now I kinda reluctant as to whether give it a try or not. I'll surely be rejected right away...
Almost the same process for all. No exemption in a sense that they have to hire people who already have the minimum requirements. If an applicant doesn't have the minimum requirements, it's best to practice first.
Surprisingly but thankfully I got hired just last August 3 (monday). Then I was ordered to prepare right away the 3 primary requirements like Medical, TIN, and NBI. The problem is that the government declared MECQ effective August 4 which resulted the closure of almost all government agencies like BIR, NBI, PSA... What a bad timing really! Very depressing and stressful situation! Things are seemingly getting even much harder.

Hi miss Rhea, nag apply aq call center dito samin province last june, nakapasa aq sa initial interview, at kinabuksan ay ang final interview . Lumipas din ng two weeks bago sila ng sms sakin na naka pasa ako sa final at nasali aq sa list for training . But i have to wait a call from HR department ng company US based na tumawag for follow up at sa training sched. Until now d paman namn tumwag ,nag taka lng aq kasi ganun ang proces ng application nila.. may idea ho ba kau bakit?

Luckily I passed without experience. :) I already submit all the requirements, done my medical ,sign the contract and job offer and scheduled for training starting oct 27. what will be the next step? and what will the training be like? I was given the English assessment test to take, which is scheduled for tomorrow, but I had doubts about pushing through the job as I realized that the pay was not good enough. But during the interview, I was so overjoyed that I said I was okay with it now that everything started to sink in it was not enough. Should I look for another company or do I take the test? I have not signed a contract yet and the test results is the basis for how much the salary I would be given.
As long as you haven't signed the contract yet, you can still change your mind. You can even change your mind even if you already signed but it would be more complicated. Think about it very well - what do you really want to do? Listen to your heart. :)

First of all, have you researched that the company is legit? 🙂 if yes, then everything should be good if you already have an offer. Ask when your training schedule will be.
