Okay so as someone who's platinum let me tell you what's happening in Ranked. There's a lot of subtle cheaters, wall hackers, no recoil scripters ect. But then we go down that rabbit hole further and we find people who only hack or aimbot when the outcome of the game is dependent on a certain moment in the game. So for instance, you will have the cheater only engage his aimbot in the final round in ranked tournament. Everything will look legit until the last 10k is in the cash out box, then he will aimbot you with 30 seconds left securing the win. There's the obvious rage hackers too of course. But it's mostly the dynamic hackers is what I am seeing.
Since season 2 started, I've only encountered 2 cheating teams. Comparing to Season 1, I saw a cheater every day. The cheating problem has gotten much better.
@@realslop US servers? In the asia server that I play on (plat 3), every other round has a super obvious cheater. About 90% of games have subtle cheaters as well.
I avoided this debate entirely and uninstalled the game, I'm here to play game not to convince people who keep whining about "Oh you worried about cheating, there's no cheat keep dying everymatch".
It's very early in its gameplay cycle, and hasnt gotten hold of a large playerbase yet. If you look at fps games, the trend is that they take a bit to gain a loyal playerbase and once they do, they never lose them.

Legit have to play this game like I'm avoiding an actual sniper in ww2 (ingame). I pop my head out in LoS and the cheater on the complete other side of the map hits me.
Cheating is definitely an issue but you're right, people are making it seem like it's a bigger issue than it is. I will say though, it is way easier to cheat on PC than it is on Console and since you play on console you will encounter exponentially less cheaters than those playing through Steam on PC
Its not a majority of players its a loud minority. Theres a handful of players who post all the time and that mindset gives likeminded people excuses when they lose
The game is fun. Like really, *really* fun. The movement, combat, and terrain destruction, all is amazing. It's like apex, but without all the camping downtime, and way more enclosed. Super tight gameplay. Though ranking up in plat and above is absolute yikes because of cheaters.

I'm currently plat 3, unable to have fun. Literally every rank tourney match is guaranteed to have cheaters. At least one and sometimes up to 6 cheaters all at once. Like @jaym4697 said, there are way too many subtle cheaters. There are at least always one super obvious waller per match, and a ton of togglers. Every other round I play has a cheater. It's not fun. It's just a game of avoiding the cheater and trying to get by. Not at all competitive.
there is no need to spectate to tell whether he is cheating or not if you play the game long enough you will know. the number of shot he hit like someone can't miss everysingle bullet just don't blame them that we don't know acutally we know whether he is cheating or not
Yep, exact damage numbers (because cheaters hit exact percentages of head to body, the numbers always appear the same), ridiculous TTK, instant reactions, reacting to your actions behind walls, convenient terrain destruction, etc. It's so obvious that I could even bait them to act in certain ways and they fall for it every time. Standing still and looking like I DCed gets them all the time.
the game was only popular because of sponsored streams, the game was and has been dead. there hasn't been 40k players since the second day of season 2, since its release its continued to drop, and even the new season didn't bring 15% of players back and the decline has continued since, while legit players have left, cheaters have stayed so the ratio of legit to cheating players is also disproportionate, the gameplay loop itself isn't even that fun let alone the cheaters, hence why 75% of the player base left outside of the abysmal ranking system
The people claiming that eveyrone is a cheater is probably the one cheating and can tell using wall hacks that other people are using wall hacks cause theyre able to identify the weird behavior through walls. Just like int G0ats video
Can I ask, what rank do you play in and in what server? In plat/diamond lobbies on the asia server that I always play in, there are almost always a blatant cheater every other round.

i legit had a cheater on my team. spectated, he would casually 1v6. yes fight two teams and win. ended up dropping 60 kills on one round alone.

There is about 20% of people using some form of cheat if you look up the the data from 2022 of cheating studies done in fps games
