- Although budgies are sociable birds, they are also aggressive. If you have two budgies in the same cage, they will always clash over water, space, or even mating. This aggression is constant but often ends in seconds. The normal aspects of a budgie society consist of the usual outbursts for toys, clashes over friends, or struggle for territories.

My female budgie Sunrise hates any hand coming near her or her cage. She does eat out of my hand but only for a short time before biting or flying away.
She did lose her mate Moonlight last fall but she's always has been difficult to tame.
I found Sunrise in a small box when she was about 8 weeks old in the park in my town
I had a budgie called Sunrise. But he died yesterday.
I have one budgie arther who is about a year old but he still flys away if I put my hand near his cage, I use to have another budgie but she died a few months ago but I don’t think arther really liked her as she would often make him stay away from the food or water pot and would fight a lot with him

i have munmun and mickie, munmun was wayyy easy to get tamed. she is explorer she loves trying new things, meanwhile mickie is a scared budgie... he has seen other budgies get caught in cage with bare hands and he never thought that one day he will be caught too so everytime he sees my hand inside the cage he rattle around and keep panting. it might take more than 2-3 months to even get mickie to even let me touch him. meanwhile munmun comes to my hand, eats her veggies, one time she was on the blade of fan scared she didn't know how to get down so she literally let me grab her. she explores new rooms of the house with me while pooping on my knuckles

My budgies are in 2 separate cages Ripley and Giselle are busy to Samuels and Herbie I think females are busy budgies Herbie and Samuels do tell them off and they just sit there
Every 3 days i place a big bowl filled with water and greens on top of the cage, so they can bathe in.
But one day I was in a hurry, no greens in my house, so I gave them just a few pieces of an apple and placed it on the cage, because they like apples. Sweety, one of my females, was not happy with that. she became aggressive. She was biting the apple "to death" and throwing the pieces to the ground. And the bowl also ended up on the ground. And she was loud, I mean really loud. i learned my lesson, bathing bowl is for bathing only. And now, sweety is sweet again.

my budgie, Sky, is very aggressive and when i try to touch her she always bites me 10 times at least. She comes on my shoulder and arm but hates new people too. Depends what you mean it could just be them preening each other or actually fighting and if so you should separate them

What birds prices
I have 22 budgies they are NEVER in a cage aside to eat & drink, they have their own bedroom with a lot of light and windows.
Some of mine are mean/aggressive,
( not with each other just me😩😩) some are scared of me, & some are great with me.

My male budgie after 9 months is showing behavior that let's me know he is bonded to me. He doesn't like my hand in his cage but when I let him out he lands on me and explores me. Some days he is very gentle when he lands on my hands and fingers but other days he will bite not nibble. I don't understand what makes him do that.

Tysm my budgie passed away sadly after fighting for a breeding box. He was bleeding by the nose and we put some medicine around the nose but the bleeding was from inside. He passed away last month we did celebrate both though but the budgie went inside somehow and I was scared it would die quickly.

I have a budgie who loved me at first, let me pet her & feed her, & she was sweet preening my face but after a while she accidentally flew out of my room & into the rest of the house with many windows. She kept smacking them and hurting herself so I desperately tried to catch her. Ever since then she's been super aggressive towards me & other humans, like desperately wanting to preen me & when I get close she bites the hell out of me! Idk what to do, she also screams a lot & isn't too nice to my other budgie now who's a sweetheart to everyone and has also gotten out of my room before. Pls help! If I can't do anything I feel like I should give her away :(
Now that I think about it it's very fitting that I named her Kali lol
