It seriously reminded me of beef tips with rice & gravy! It was some kinda fine Rus!!! I appreciate you checking it out and cheers to you my friend!!!!
Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I made your recipe for my family tonight, and we all loved it. Absolutely delicious and tender. I used my Instant Pot and cooked for 8 hours on slow cook (high setting). Perfection! Thank you so much; I love all your videos and will soon attempt to cook brisket on the Weber Smoky Mountain my sons gave to me for Christmas.
Fine looking meal T-Roy. I enjoy that you cook food for eating. Everything does not have to cooked in or on a pit, kettle or barrel. Enjoying this video a lot. Great looking meal.
Did my first brisket in the slow cooker a week ago, normally done in the smoker but man o man it was tasty! Will be doing that again, cheers from the UK T’roy!! 😃
HI Troy... So glad the Worcestershire sauce made it to you safe! I'm going to be sure to try this recipe! You need anything else here from the UK you just tip me the wink 👍
Thank you so much for sending me that care package Adam! The worcestershire sauce in the UK is better than what we have in the US. It's slightly stronger in flavor, maybe aged longer in the UK? Cheers to ya brother!
Yeah that’s the proper Worcestershire sauce you’ve got right there, I use it on steak, chips/fries, salads, chilli, it’s good on lots of things, never tried it on ice cream but I’m sure it’d still be good.
The Brisket's were on sale at my local grocery store, so I could not resist the temptation. First thing I thought of is slow cooker. That's what brought me here. mine have the bones still in them. I like that you use Worcestershire sauce, my favorite sauce. I could actually drink the stuff, and sometimes do. great video I will look for your other videos.
I thought that bottle of Lea & Perrins was a bottle of red wine until you said it was from the UK and shows the label. I LOVE brisket in the slow cooker. It’s also delicious braised. Both are hits in my home AND my 2 dogs line up for me to give them a plate of good food.
You have a fantastic channel man. Recently I bought a Crock-Pot slow cooker from HEB. I think this is going to be the first meal to cook in it, get it started off right.
Hey Troy, hope you and the family are all doing great, it’s nice to see you again. That Brisket looks fantastic, o need to try this in my slow cooker, hubby will love it.
Hey Angie!!!! So good to hear from you again! We are doing great and I pray your family is also!!! Yes, I'm positive your hubby will love it. It's a very tasty meal. You can also put the meat & gravy over some noodles and kinda have a beef stroganoff dish! Cheers to ya Angie!
Thanks for sharing T-Roy. Just found you on UTube. Looking forward to watching ur videos. I’ve always wanted to learn to cook on an actual fire grill. 😋😋😋
Thank you. You read my mind. I was just thinking about doing a brisket in the slow cooker. How's it going? Hope all is well. Looking great. Its to windy here too smoke a brisket plus the brisket we got is choice. But we got another one at Costco. Choice one will be in the slow cooker. Enchiladas
Enchiladas sound fantastic and I know the brisket will be super tender cooking in the slow cooker. I was seriously amazed at how good this dish was! It reminded me of having beef tips in Baton Rouge growing up! Fine eats for sure!!!
got an Instant Pot for xmas gift and can say - beef stew done in instant pot is HUGE favorite. Wondering if just simple rice - or something special. Really looked good. Keep up the great work. You inspired me towards a WSM 22 - only two smokes in - but LOTS to learn.
Do what you want but I would have cooked it on low for about 12 hours and then let it rest for about an hour after maybe more. No need to Brown beforehand just throw it in the broiler for about 5 minutes after to get it nice and crispy up top
The same thing happens to me all the time. At first I thought it was just coincidence. As time went on however, I determined that the simplest explanation is that T-roy continually intercepts the massive amount of data that google collects about everyone and then waits until the largest number of his subscribers are determined to be hungry before releasing his videos.
@@TROYCOOKS it was sooooooo delicious. I also made a homemade bbq sauce to serve on top of that - shredded the meat it was so tender & flavourful served on a bun. Saved the recipe will definitely make again, have another beef brisket to do in couple weeks.
Yep, that's why I made this brisket inside, we had storms passing all day while I was shooting the video. Glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate you watching!
T-ROY my brother looks absolutely mouthwatering and I'll me a couple slices with some Mash potatoes 🥔. Y'all take care and have a great weekend. Cheers!
And my hubby thought you could only smoke a brisket.... I told him everything can be cooked in q crock pot.. Who needs school when you have youtube.. Thank you fir sharing
A cooker is a cooker whether it's outside or in the kitchen. Only difference is that if cooked inside, you'll need to add liquid smoke to make it have some smoke flavor. LOL Cheers to you and the hubby!!!
It is an instant read thermometer called a ThermaPen from ThermoWorks. I have my affiliate link for them within the description if you wanna save a little money ordering one. I've been using ThermoWorks products for many years and they are always accurate and fast.
Ok,, now that's what I'm talking about. Listening to you talk about cooking and doing what you do on a smoker. You are retired and taken care of wifee.good man as we going through this pandemic moment. I would like to see you do some turkey .
Believe me when I say that this was one of the best meals I've had a quite a while. I'm definitely making this dish again! Cheers to ya brother Kenneth!!!!!
Caramelizing the onions will lend nice flavors to your slow cooking. Funny how the dog shows up whenever you start cutting the meat. Lol It’s smoking hot! It’s a keeper! I like rice a lot- I eat rice with almost anything-
Yep, she's very appreciative when I have dinner ready. It's fantastic when you walk into the house and smell those fine smells coming from your kitchen! I appreciate you watching and cheers to ya!!!!
What a great alternative way to cooking brisket other than on a smoker! This just screams delicious comfort food! Cheers Troy! 🍻

Thanks!!! It seriously reminds me of beef tips I had growing up in Baton Rouge. Mighty fine eats for sure!!!
Looks great. I would have slightly strained the broth and added in some flour and made a bit thicker gravy. Pan gravy is nice too!
I love using slow cooker and never thought of cooking brisket in it. Meat looks so tender, juicy and delicious.
Hope you do give it a try! I wouldn't steer you wrong! Thanks for watching!
Cooking it now will let you know how it comes out
Have you ever tried Nuco it’s no burn butter it’s the best for cooking.
That's awesome troy I will be trying this but not to change the subject I just bought a wsm and it's the best smoker ever made In my opinion
You can't go wrong over rice. Looked awesome! I would eat that all day.👍😎

I like smokin brisket but hate fighting the flat, thanks for sharing this one 👍 partial smoke , crockpot finish 👌
That would be a great way to do the flat. Smoking it for a bit would add another wonderful depth of flavor to this recipe.
Looks delicious, but I wonder about cooking it to where is more medium, maybe to 160°F. Never made brisket before, does it have to be well done?
Do what you want but I would have cooked it on low for about 12 hours and then let it rest for about an hour after maybe more. No need to Brown beforehand just throw it in the broiler for about 5 minutes after to get it nice and crispy up top

Do you need to use beef broth? Can you season it and just put it in or it won’t work?
Garlic is a king of kitchen.
Looks great! Might have to try it, maybe add some liquid smoke!
Yep, liquid smoke would add another layer of flavor! Thanks for watching Darin! Cheers bro!

You should try Henderson’s relish as an alternative to Worcestershire sauce.
Hi Troy
Was the gravy just the cooking liquor, reduced with flour?
Yeah I saw how that Lea and Perrins is made and I can’t say that I’ve still used it since then lol
My Dad would microwave the cut onions for 20-30 seconds before frying in pan or bbq
T-ROY great to see you posting!!! Hope you have been well!!! Hit me up if you ever come out to Cali
I sure will brother!!! I appreciate the invite!
I should try that in my Cusinart 3 in 1 cooker. I can do the onion and sear the beef in one pot then slow cook in it👍 Nice
