Hi Emily! Regarding the Marth figure, if the gap between the base and boot is disturbing, you can use a pin to measure the peg length and compare it to the hole depth on the base. If the pegs are too long, you can file off some plastic from the pegs with a plastic modeling filer to make them shorter. If that's not the case, maybe a paint blob at the peg's base is causing a block.
GameStop should reeeeeally stop gutting new games and calling them "new". It should be illegal. They should just use a generic box and copy cover art. I mean, they only need one on the shelf to advertise that they have new copies in stock. I will never buy a new gutted game from them, unless it's on clearance and or solely for me. GS is insane.
Been doing it since they bought out or all the competition closed. Younger generations are missing out we had awesome nation consumer friendly dedicated game stores like Funcoland. Their used games you could literally take them to stations they had consoles setup and you could try it to make sure you liked it. And prices were excellent This was the year to be s Best Buy plus member 🫣 I spent a bit much this summer using the buy 2 get one switch that was always in play. Then when it ended I was sad they reintroduced it twice for holidays. Missed the first one. Second one definitely did not probably bought 20-30 games About 8 were not for me and were gifts 🤑
This channel is transforming into a watch and figurines collection channel 😂. Maybe it’s a good idea to keep that Special Reserve Cult of the Lamb copy sealed and just buy a regular copy to play. I did not know about this version (I own the deluxe version) and it seems like it’ll be valuable in the future now that Special Reserve is gone. I would love to go back to Japan someday! Not too sure when I'll be able to make that happen, but it'll be interesting to try out vlog style content someday. Taxes are tricky and I would rather avoid being audited, a large expense write off like that would probably paint a big target on me 😅
I stopped actively buying games from GameStop years ago. Aside from all the shenanigans that have been well reported by media outlets, the biggest reason I stopped is this: new games ain't new. Growing up visiting EB Games (GameStop), it saddens me to see how even nostalgia and attachment aren't enough to entice me to visit them regularly these days, let alone buying things from them. When I must, I always ask them for a sealed copy from behind the counter. That doesn't completely guarantee the rare pamphlets inside the games haven't been ruffled or touched by oily hands, of course, but hey, better than nothing right? Cult of the Lamb is such a fun game. I didn't think I would enjoy playing it as much as I did, but there is something charming about this game that really appealed to me and kept me hooked. The original Steins;Gate is still IMHO the best of the series. I have both the "originals" and the Elite versions on my PSP, PS Vita and Nintendo Switch. Unless you are attached to the anime aesthetic, Elite is not an essential pickup. With that said, if you are a collector, you probably want to add it to your collection. I'll likely skip Elite because I read it's not essential. But I'm looking forward to trying out Cult of the Lamb and seeing how chaotic the simulation part gets.
Usually I frown upon having multiple copies of games (except when multiplayer isn't supported with download play), but it's a more rational option in comparison to putting extra wear and tear on a vintage handheld. This was a very strong PS4 haul and definitely the highlight of this video, lol.
Aw man I picked up Nayuta too! I'm playing through it now and it's a fun action rpg. Also Cult of the Lamb is awesome, I got mine at Walmart of all places. Odin Sphere on the PS4 is great too but even back on the PS2 I never beat it. Great Pickups!

I have Steins;Gate and 0 for the Vita too! Definitely some of my favorites. For whatever reason I downloaded them on my Switch too as well as grabbing a physical of S;G Elite I think it was just so I can have them alongside "My Darling's Embrace" on the Switch. Maybe I went overboard, but you really can't have too much Steins;Gate.
It's always cool to see what you're adding to your collection Emily. I ended up biting on ff7 crisis core for ps5 instead of holding out for switch since it was on sale for $25. Also picked up valkyrie elysium since it was on sale as well from gamestop. Struck out on both of them, they were listed as new yet had been opened already when i got them. It is pretty frustrating really.
I've also noticed the rounder bases with Pop Up Parades and I think it's definitely an improvement, takes up less shelf space especially when placing them next to each other. You always pick up some of the coolest statues and I'm always envious of them! Marth looks absolutely gorgeous, the shading on his cape is second to none. Excellent pickups Emily, good sales are always hard to pass up!
The round bases look much cleaner than the previous popup parade bases! It's a plus that they take up less space too. And the cape details on Marth's figure are really stellar! :)

Sometimes, I'm bad with buying games on sale, especially if they're available in more than one platform. I've ordered a few games in which one arrived for one system like the Switch and then a few days later, the same game arrived for a different system like the PS4 (looking at you, Valkyria Chronicles 4). Granted, I do like owning games more than once, but still. Good choice on Shadow of the Colossus - it's best to think of the boss fights as a puzzle game with action game mechanics. I would recommend playing Ico as well, if you can find it. Not the best game, but it's a beautiful one.
Oooh Steins Gate looks really interesting. This is why I like watching pick up videos from TH-cam! Gonna definitely check out that one. My recent pickups were Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2 and I have to say, Alan Wake 2 is my personal GOTY title for 2023. I have also picked up other ps5 titles along the way that I hope I can start showing off on my channel. Channels like yours and Mystic Ryan’s channel have inspired me. Totally agree, pick-up videos are some of the best for new games! I love Mystic as well. It’s wild how much be spends on CIB Advance games, I wish I had the budget for that. For now I’ll have to settle with ROMs on my Pocket

It really shows that you've become more and more comfortable being in front of the camera. Your content is informative (because you're always introducing me to a title I've never heard of) and it's just an enjoyable experience to hear you talk about it all. Except for my NES back in the day and my N64 (which I gave away because I'm stupid) I've always primarily been a PC gamer. The Estelle watch looks amazing! 😍 I have not been buying many games recently but I managed to find the original PAL CE for Trails in the Sky on PSP for a really good price! I couldn't believe it! It was my holy grail and I can't wait to display it with the rest of my Trails collection. Sometimes waiting and checking in pays off!
nice pickups Emily. I do recommend the steins gate games as well , especially 0. But keep in mind like a lot of vn's they are really long and the story will slow to a crawl at times because of it. if you can stand that then i say give them a shot because they are very well acted and written.
Oh I love VNs! Though like you mentioned they can take a long time to get through. Right now I've been slowly making my way through House in Fata Morgana and I've only made a slight dent in it so far 😅
I'd be interested to hear what you thought of Fenyx Rising. I loved the set up, humour, art style and initially the gameplay. After about 20 hours though I fell off it hard. It was getting a bit Samey with a lot of busy work (just being a Ubisoft game, I guess). I also got frustrated by some tricky platforming puzzles, but that's more of a "me" problem, I suck bigtime at platforming 🙂. Let us know what you thought when you get to play it. Also an observation while discussing video production if I may (which you can feel free to ignore 🙂); I thought the camera was maybe a little too close for this one? Again probably just me . Keep doing what you do, its always a good watch.
Yeah, I was also disappointed in the Reserve edition of Cult of the Lamb, especially considering how long it took for it to release. Odin Sphere is a fantastic pick up though. Absolutely loved that game! Also played it on Vita first.

Nothing wrong with picking up a lot of games for great prices. Awesome pickups video. Good stuff. I didn't know that special reserve games is ending. That really sucks. I'm getting that same cult of the lamb tomorrow. I've been enjoying special reserve. I want to get some more of there games. I have death's door by them for switch, the messenger by them for switch and the serious sam collection for switch also.
@@aqlandmirrorvideogamerandc2983 definitely surprised SRG is changing as well, though I think they’re transitioning to producing only Devolver Digital physicals based on their email. I do agree with Emily on their quality issues though - if they can improve things I’ll pick up their next titles, but until then I’m getting a eye out for retail releases
Shadow of the Colossus is in my top three of all time (along with Ico from the same team, have you played that?). The remaster has a choice of original controls or more modern controls. When I first played Shadow on PS2 I really struggled with the controls and nearly gave up on it, but once it clicked, it was amazing. The bleak emptiness is part of the beauty. I believe it had a big influence on the Dark Souls guy. Because I loved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus so much, I put off The Last Guardian, as I was afraid I’d be disappointed. I finally played it this year, and while it’s not as good as the other two, it’s still a good game.
Nice collection of pickups. I'll have to look into Raging Loop and Knights of Azure. My main pick up for October was one of the transparent Analogue Pockets (blue), so between that and the Dock, no major game pick ups other than a few misc things.
That's cool you were able to snag one of the transparent Analogue Pockets! I sort of regret not chancing for one of the in stock variants they were doing, but I had already gotten the black one a couple months back so couldn't justify another so soon 😅
Oh man i didn't know special reserve was dying. That makes me sad. I do feel they could've done more though, disc room is the same deal, just nothing really special about their edition. You should play cult of the Lamb though, it is very fun! I just splurged on a few imports, my friend and i combine an order once or twice a year and it's always fun to get a bunch of games on sale that you can't find here in the states.
I'm hoping I enjoy Cult of the Lamb! I hear the simulation bits can get a little hectic, but everything looks so charming I have a feeling it'll be a hit with me. And if you have a friend nearby splitting the shipping on imports is a great way to do it 👍
@@orbalology they can, the game glitches a bit if you get more than like twenty followers but it's kinda funny and I took it as a test of patience. It's only a game after all, no need to get upset about a little lagging. But I know it impacts some people's experience more than my own 🙂

I'm getting Persona 5 tactica and Mario RPG this month. I'm a Persona fan. Don't know when I'll get to Mario. Between Renne and Fie I chose Renne because of her connection with all the games, but I love the action pose Fie has considering how riske it is. I love seeing that Trails shelf come together Emily 👍
Stoked that you got Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian. Fumito Ueda's games are among the most amazing artistic experiences I've ever had. That includes his first game, Ico (Ee-ko), which as far as I know is only playable on PS2 and on the PS3 remaster. I wouldn't be surprised if Ico gets a remake from PlayStation one of these days.
Also, regarding your actual commentary about the games: I think you'll find the Shadow of the Colossus remake quite playable-and enjoyable, I hope. But it may take a bit of patience. The game is very minimalistic, but the story it tells is surprisingly deep and complex. I've been thinking about the story's implications for almost twenty years now. Bottom line is that it's a game I think is so important that I would be happy to help anyone else enjoy it. Let me know if you have any questions. The Last Guardian did have a very long development cycle; in fact, the game's announcement was the main reason I bought a PS3 back in 2007. Needless to say, it ended up coming out on PS4. But the main problem players had with it was its controls, and in particular, its camera. I noticed the difficult camera, but wasn't dismayed by it. That's another incredible game I think you'll like. Amazing story. Based on my impressions of your tastes, though, I think Ico is the game you might like the most of the three. I enjoy your videos! Star ocean second story R. I bought it back when i was in my teens and beat a bunch of times. Still own my original copy. I bought the ps5 version. I recommend this if anyone has an interest in star ocean games but didnt really love the latest entries. Ranking: Second story, till the end of time, first departure.
11:29 You definitely want to play the original Steins;Gate over Elite, because you get the original art by Huke, which is just absolutely stunning!! Especially if you've already seen the anime.
Nice pickups. I've bought games from Gamestop, it's hit or miss where I bought new but it was open and where it was sealed. I have a copy of Coffee Talk that I got from Strictly Limited awhile ago, but haven't gotten around to playing it. I've gotten a few games from Special Reserve Games, didn't know that they will no longer be doing games. Also have the first Stein's Gate on PSVita. Love the art style of Vanillaware, have Odin Sphere on PS2 and the Limited Edition on PS4. Still need to hunt down a copy of Nights of Azure 2. Nice figures. Thanks for sharing.
You should definitely give Shadow Of The Colossus a shot. They don't feel like bosses so much as moving environments and puzzles. It's not like a Dark Souls style boss where it depends on quick reflexes and animation tells.
Such shame what happen to your Cult of the lamps. I got the delux edition. It is nothing fancy but you get the OST which is nice. I like the extra info about Special reserve. How do you come by those news? What do you think about the MGS Master collection vol 1?

But it sticks how the Switch version doesn't have most of the games on the cartridge :(

I definitely have to agree that sales are hard to resist. VGP has become a go to place for me. I generally avoid Gamestop. My pickups included Coffee Talk 2 on PS5, Gal Guardians on Switch, Steelrising and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on Series X.
I went crazy buying games, too. Unfortunately, none of them were on sale. A lot of great games released last month. I’ll be taking it easy for the next few months.
Just be mindful that when playing Shadow of the Colossus on PS5 it's one of the few games with issues. The textures don't load properly, so everything will look more blurry than it should.
I think you're getting Shadow of the Colossus - The Last Guardian - and Ico muddled up with each other... When you were talking about SOTC and then TLG you sort of compared them and spoke as though they were somehow connected. You said it's different from the "original game" - that original game is Ico. TLG is a spiritual successor to Ico. SOTC is completely its own thing... 👍
Cool video. I pre order star ocean back in October and of course game stop did not get any copies on release date and they still have not got it in yet. I knew I should have trusted my guy and not pre order it knowing that the game wouldn't sell out. Games these days never sell out of stock unless they're limited print copies but still.

Maybe my position on boss battles is an artifact of a few games from my younger years. I remember all too well getting stuck & frustrated on certain bosses and having it hinder my enjoyment of a game overall 😅 I'm unfamiliar with those particular books in that data science humble bundle, but I looked up some reviews and it looks like they've been received fairly well. I think anything that helps you learn R, Python, and/or SQL will go a long way with advancing in data science. Though I guess a good followup question is what skills are you hoping to learn, are they to integrate into your current profession or to help aid in a career change?

I’m a musician interested in a macro introduction to the field - mainly because of you and your approach to the channel. So integration/improving my skill-set would be ideal, though I can also see many of the skills overlapping into my hobbies like coding and stock trading. I took AP Comp Sci in high school but never learned Python, so that would be cool as well

Odin Sphere Leifthraisir is really cool, and hopefully easy to pick up where you left off! I've seen The Last Guardian drop below $20 semi-regularly, definitely keep an eye out on VGP or some other retailers this holiday season to see if they discount it again :)
I can't recommend Cult of the Lamb enough, I don't like rogue lites or rogue likes very much but last month the NSO service had the game available to try for members, I downloaded it and gave it a shot and after playing it I bought it right away, it's very fun and addictive, good luck with the model kit, I love gundam model kits and putting them together is very fun
If you need any guidance on painting your model, there are a few channels on YT which covers it. I know of one which deals with mostly gunpla (gundam models) as well as a few other models she does. As for your pick up items, I think any collector can understand waiting on sales\bundles but also at same time wanting to pre-order the latest item in their collection(s). I've probably mention this before but I'm a table top gamer so books related to that hobby can be hard for me to ignore but helps I only have ONE book shelf for them plus my physical novels. IF I had more book shelves, I'm certain I would be more tempted to buy more gaming books or get into other authors for reading material.
I really like how more windows type handhelds are becoming more competitive but I will always prefer a Nintendo switch. I use the switch to play chill games away from my computer. Use the PC for games like Valorant, Diablo and Naraka.
Just wondering do you plan to complete all these games? I never have time to finish so many games. There’s quite a few from this video I’d like to pick up bud finishing so many is another story!
I don't have an exact deadline, I like to view my gaming shelves as more of a library of possibilities. Filled with games I'll like to get to someday, even if it may be years down the line.
I finally able to get Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles and also Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster last month. 😊 Recently I got Torna ~ The Golden Country at normal price, picked that one altogether with Metroid Prime Remastered. I think that's my last pickup for 2023, Emily. Still have many games on my wishlist, but I'm hoping for a price drop early next year 😁

Aw man I picked up Nayuta too! I'm playing through it now and it's a fun action rpg. Also Cult of the Lamb is awesome, I got mine at Walmart of all places. Odin Sphere on the PS4 is great too but even back on the PS2 I never beat it. Great Pickups!

I have Steins;Gate and 0 for the Vita too! Definitely some of my favorites. For whatever reason I downloaded them on my Switch too as well as grabbing a physical of S;G Elite I think it was just so I can have them alongside "My Darling's Embrace" on the Switch. Maybe I went overboard, but you really can't have too much Steins;Gate.
Some games are worth double dipping on! I know I definitely do the same for my top favorites :)
It's always cool to see what you're adding to your collection Emily. I ended up biting on ff7 crisis core for ps5 instead of holding out for switch since it was on sale for $25. Also picked up valkyrie elysium since it was on sale as well from gamestop. Struck out on both of them, they were listed as new yet had been opened already when i got them. It is pretty frustrating really.
Ugh, GameStop really has some of the most non-consumer friendly practices :(
I've also noticed the rounder bases with Pop Up Parades and I think it's definitely an improvement, takes up less shelf space especially when placing them next to each other. You always pick up some of the coolest statues and I'm always envious of them! Marth looks absolutely gorgeous, the shading on his cape is second to none. Excellent pickups Emily, good sales are always hard to pass up!
The round bases look much cleaner than the previous popup parade bases! It's a plus that they take up less space too. And the cape details on Marth's figure are really stellar! :)

Sometimes, I'm bad with buying games on sale, especially if they're available in more than one platform. I've ordered a few games in which one arrived for one system like the Switch and then a few days later, the same game arrived for a different system like the PS4 (looking at you, Valkyria Chronicles 4). Granted, I do like owning games more than once, but still.
Good choice on Shadow of the Colossus - it's best to think of the boss fights as a puzzle game with action game mechanics. I would recommend playing Ico as well, if you can find it. Not the best game, but it's a beautiful one.
Ah, that may be a better way for me to frame Shadow of the Colossus. I'll have to find Ico & try to give that one a go too sometime.
Oooh Steins Gate looks really interesting. This is why I like watching pick up videos from TH-cam! Gonna definitely check out that one.
My recent pickups were Spider-Man 2 and Alan Wake 2 and I have to say, Alan Wake 2 is my personal GOTY title for 2023. I have also picked up other ps5 titles along the way that I hope I can start showing off on my channel. Channels like yours and Mystic Ryan’s channel have inspired me. I just need to figure out the best way to have a good setup to start sharing my collection like you do.

It really shows that you've become more and more comfortable being in front of the camera. Your content is informative (because you're always introducing me to a title I've never heard of) and it's just an enjoyable experience to hear you talk about it all. Except for my NES back in the day and my N64 (which I gave away because I'm stupid) I've always primarily been a PC gamer. I have not been buying many games recently but I managed to find the original PAL CE for Trails in the Sky on PSP for a really good price! I couldn't believe it! It was my holy grail and I can't wait to display it with the rest of my Trails collection. Sometimes waiting and checking in pays off!

nice pickups Emily. I do recommend the steins gate games as well , especially 0. But keep in mind like a lot of vn's they are really long and the story will slow to a crawl at times because of it. if you can stand that then i say give them a shot because they are very well acted and written.
Oh I love VNs! Though like you mentioned they can take a long time to get through. Right now I've been slowly making my way through House in Fata Morgana and I've only made a slight dent in it so far 😅

I'd be interested to hear what you thought of Fenyx Rising. I loved the set up, humour, art style and initially the gameplay. After about 20 hours though I fell off it hard. It was getting a bit Samey with a lot of busy work (just being a Ubisoft game, I guess). I also got frustrated by some tricky platforming puzzles, but that's more of a "me" problem, I suck bigtime at platforming 🙂.

Yeah, I was also disappointed in the Reserve edition of Cult of the Lamb, especially considering how long it took for it to release.
Odin Sphere is a fantastic pick up though. Absolutely loved that game! Also played it on Vita first.

I'm getting that same cult of the lamb tomorrow. I've been enjoying special reserve. I want to get some more of there games. I have death's door by them for switch, the messenger by them for switch and the serious sam collection for switch also.

Shadow of the Colossus is in my top three of all time (along with Ico from the same team, have you played that?). The remaster has a choice of original controls or more modern controls. When I first played Shadow on PS2 I really struggled with the controls and nearly gave up on it, but once it clicked, it was amazing. The bleak emptiness is part of the beauty. I believe it had a big influence on the Dark Souls guy.
Because I loved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus so much, I put off The Last Guardian, as I was afraid I’d be disappointed. I finally played it this year, and while it’s not as good as the other two, it’s still a good game.
I haven't tried Ico yet either, but it's on my radar! And I can see how these games influenced those behind Dark Souls.
Nice collection of pickups. I'll have to look into Raging Loop and Knights of Azure. My main pick up for October was one of the transparent Analogue Pockets (blue), so between that and the Dock, no major game pick ups other than a few misc things.
That's cool you were able to snag one of the transparent Analogue Pockets! I sort of regret not chancing for one of the in stock variants they were doing, but I had already gotten the black one a couple months back so couldn't justify another so soon 😅

Oh man i didn't know special reserve was dying. That makes me sad. I do feel they could've done more though, disc room is the same deal, just nothing really special about their edition. You should play cult of the Lamb though, it is very fun!
I just splurged on a few imports, my friend and i combine an order once or twice a year and it's always fun to get a bunch of games on sale that you can't find here in the states.
I'm hoping I enjoy Cult of the Lamb! I hear the simulation bits can get a little hectic, but everything looks so charming I have a feeling it'll be a hit with me.

@@orbalology they can, the game glitches a bit if you get more than like twenty followers but it's kinda funny and I took it as a test of patience. It's only a game after all, no need to get upset about a little lagging. But I know it impacts some people's experience more than my own 🙂
Picked up robocop, terminator resistance, super Mario wonder, telltale back to the future and 13 sentinels this month. I’ll probably play through a couple of these before the year is up

Stoked that you got Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian. Fumito Ueda's games are among the most amazing artistic experiences I've ever had. That includes his first game, Ico (Ee-ko), which as far as I know is only playable on PS2 and on the PS3 remaster. I wouldn't be surprised if Ico gets a remake from PlayStation one of these days.
Also, regarding your actual commentary about the games:
I think you'll find the Shadow of the Colossus remake quite playable-and enjoyable, I hope. But it may take a bit of patience. The game is very minimalistic, but the story it tells is surprisingly deep and complex. I've been thinking about the story's implications for almost twenty years now. Bottom line is that it's a game I think is so important that I would be happy to help anyone else enjoy it. Let me know if you have any questions.
The Last Guardian did have a very long development cycle; in fact, the game's announcement was the main reason I bought a PS3 back in 2007. Needless to say, it ended up coming out on PS4. But the main problem players had with it was its controls, and in particular, its camera. I noticed the difficult camera, but wasn't dismayed by it. That's another incredible game I think you'll like. Amazing story. Based on my impressions of your tastes, though, I think Ico is the game you might like the most of the three.

Star ocean second story R. I bought it back when i was in my teens and beat a bunch of times. Still own my original copy. I bought the ps5 version. I recommend this if anyone has an interest in star ocean games but didnt really love the latest entries. Ranking: Second story, till the end of time, first departure.
Just got done with Nayuta, great game! Really loved the combat and the characters were real cute.
that is a big project for your first build hopefully you enjoy it. maybe a hair dyer to Marths foot just enough to make it soft to move it the rock.
Valimar's model kit was advertised as a simple assembly & pre-painted, so I think it'll be a good introduction to the modeling kit world.

Nice pickups. I've bought games from Gamestop, it's hit or miss where I bought new but it was open and where it was sealed. I have a copy of Coffee Talk that I got from Strictly Limited awhile ago, but haven't gotten around to playing it. I've gotten a few games from Special Reserve Games, didn't know that they will no longer be doing games. Also have the first Stein's Gate on PSVita. Love the art style of Vanillaware, have Odin Sphere on PS2 and the Limited Edition on PS4. Still need to hunt down a copy of Nights of Azure 2. Nice figures. Thanks for sharing.

You should definitely give Shadow Of The Colossus a shot. They don't feel like bosses so much as moving environments and puzzles. It's not like a Dark Souls style boss where it depends on quick reflexes and animation tells.
Such shame what happen to your Cult of the lamps. I got the delux edition. It is nothing fancy but you get the OST which is nice. I like the extra info about Special reserve. How do you come by those news? What do you think about the MGS Master collection vol 1?

I definitely have to agree that sales are hard to resist. VGP has become a go to place for me. I generally avoid Gamestop. My pickups included Coffee Talk 2 on PS5, Gal Guardians on Switch, Steelrising and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands on Series X.

Just be mindful that when playing Shadow of the Colossus on PS5 it's one of the few games with issues. The textures don't load properly, so everything will look more blurry than it should.
I think you're getting Shadow of the Colossus - The Last Guardian - and Ico muddled up with each other...
When you were talking about SOTC and then TLG you sort of compared them and spoke as though they were somehow connected. You said it's different from the "original game" - that original game is Ico. TLG is a spiritual successor to Ico.
SOTC is completely its own thing... 👍
Cool video. I pre order star ocean back in October and of course game stop did not get any copies on release date and they still have not got it in yet. I knew I should have trusted my guy and not pre order it knowing that the game wouldn't sell out. Games these days never sell out of stock unless they're limited print copies but still.

Maybe my position on boss battles is an artifact of a few games from my younger years. I remember all too well getting stuck & frustrated on certain bosses and having it hinder my enjoyment of a game overall 😅
I'm unfamiliar with those particular books in that data science humble bundle, but I looked up some reviews and it looks like they've been received fairly well. I think anything that helps you learn R, Python, and/or SQL will go a long way with advancing in data science. Though I guess a good followup question is what skills are you hoping to learn, are they to integrate into your current profession or to help aid in a career change?

Thanks for looking into the books for me! I’m a musician interested in a macro introduction to the field - mainly because of you and your approach to the channel. So integration/improving my skill-set would be ideal, though I can also see many of the skills overlapping into my hobbies like coding and stock trading. I took AP Comp Sci in high school but never learned Python, so that would be cool as well

Odin Sphere Leifthraisir is really cool, and hopefully easy to pick up where you left off! I've seen The Last Guardian drop below $20 semi-regularly, definitely keep an eye out on VGP or some other retailers this holiday season to see if they discount it again :)

I can't recommend Cult of the Lamb enough, I don't like rogue lites or rogue likes very much but last month the NSO service had the game available to try for members, I downloaded it and gave it a shot and after playing it I bought it right away, it's very fun and addictive, good luck with the model kit, I love gundam model kits and putting them together is very fun
If you need any guidance on painting your model, there are a few channels on YT which covers it. I know of one which deals with mostly gunpla (gundam models) as well as a few other models she does. As for your pick up items, I think any collector can understand waiting on sales\bundles but also at same time wanting to pre-order the latest item in their collection(s). I've probably mention this before but I'm a table top gamer so books related to that hobby can be hard for me to ignore but helps I only have ONE book shelf for them plus my physical novels. IF I had more book shelves, I'm certain I would be more tempted to buy more gaming books or get into other authors for reading material.
i go to my GameStop so much, they all know me and sometimes hold collection edition games and Pokémon card drops for me 😅
I really like how more windows type handhelds are becoming more competitive but I will always prefer a Nintendo switch. I use the switch to play chill games away from my computer. Use the PC for games like Valorant, Diablo and Naraka.

I don't have an exact deadline, I like to view my gaming shelves as more of a library of possibilities. Filled with games I'll like to get to someday, even if it may be years down the line.
I finally able to get Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles and also Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster last month. 😊 Recently I got Torna ~ The Golden Country at normal price, picked that one altogether with Metroid Prime Remastered. I think that's my last pickup for 2023, Emily. Still have many games on my wishlist, but I'm hoping for a price drop early next year 😁
