I’m glad you mentioned the therapeutic value of model building. It’s one of those things that you can get engrossed in and your mind switches off from day to day concerns for an hour or two. I’ve recently started paint by numbers which has a similar effect. It’s an overlooked benefit of videogames too. Also, don’t worry, you’re not the first person who needed alcohol to get through a build 😄
It's really good to have hobbies that get you away from screens! I've been trying to do more of that because I work on a computer all day and most of my hobbies involve reading off a screen which I'm sure aren't the best for my eyes 😅
Pro tip for the Xbox controller, you can just plug it in with a usb-C cable and use it without batteries! Since you’ll be using it w a pc this could be a good solution 👍
I love your taste in games so much! I feel like it is nice to see another woman out there obsessed with JRPGs, visual novels and some anime haha. Thank you for sharing your pick ups. 💕
Model kits! I love building those just to relax and stay away from screens so much! You will have an easier time applying the gundam marker paint if you release some of the ink into a paint cup and then use a brush to apply it.
This by far is my favorite pick up videos by you Emily! The sheer diversity in games, items, and what's shown is really enjoyable to watch, that and your love for One Piece really shines through and that segment was even more fun to watch! These coming months will be insane for our wallets so i am curious as to what you'll be getting! As always, stellar work :)
Valkyria Chronicles 2 is REALLY fun, but the Japan-only 3rd game is the true masterpiece! There's an English patch available if you're into emulation. Thanks for the fun video, Emily!
Valkyrie Profile Lenneth is a legit buy there. What made the game very unique besides the rpg system is the story.. rarely do you ever find any ps1 games also that came with voice acting back in the days as well. You are in a treat for that game, I got it for a discount on the ps5 and 25 hours just flew by me playing it past few days 😅 #nostalgia
I just find a lot of joy watching your videos - I guess because your own enjoyment seems to come through no matter what you're sharing about, even if it's something that you might have not as many good things to talk about. I picked up the PC port for the first Valkyria Chronicles when it came out and really loved it. I might have to do another playthrough on it, because if things keep going the way they are, I'm looking to be on a no-buy year instead of a low-buy. Good thing I've got a backlog to playthrough (which I'm still inputting into your handy spreadsheet). And it's cool that you like Robin. I love all of the main crew, but after Water 7/Enies Lobby she just really rose to the top for me.
Very nice pickups! Valkyria Chronicles 4 is actually a pretty good place to start for newcomers to the series. I'm very partial to the first. One of the first PS3 games I bought. It's such a wonderful gem of a series that deserves way more attention!
This is a super fun video. I would love to see a Valkyria Chronicles Collection physical release that has the main 4 games together. Since we never got 3 its about time! The Serenity Forge tea cup set is a nice touch, really nice of them to show you and others some love for helping them out. Nights of Azure 2 for PS4 was the right move as the Switch release runs awful so good call there. Those kits are so cool, going to look into those too! Thanks Emily, always a good time at your channel. Also thanks to Mishy for always being so positive! 😺🐈⬛
Valkyrie Profile on the PSP is actually the first game in the series. Its a port of the PS1 game and I recommend playing Lenneth first. Then the PS2 game.
The World Collectable Figure Vol.16 Robin is good, I just got it. Same with many of the recent Wano Robin figures from WCF. The sitting Robin Megahouse figure is pretty good too.
I've been eyeing the purple Xbox controller as well, but I think the "Stellar Shift" color looks really cool. I wish other platforms got as many cool controllers to choose from too!
I just picked up the Stellar/Lunar shift last month, the iridescent designs are so cool! Hopefully Xbox does another glow-in-the-dark Sea of Thieves semi-translucent design; I missed the first one, and now it’s so expensive on eBay sadly
I believe I read somewhere Super Rare is done making the limited print games and moving into the standard print run space. Always love watching your pickups. Thanks for sharing.
Oh I didn't see that. I know LRG has been getting more into retail versions, but haven't seen many other limited print production companies entering that area.
Ever since watching the TH-camr UrAvgConsumer and his huge Gundam collection (primarily showcased in his “Massive Tech Unboxing” series), I’ve wanted to get into model building. Due to the price it’s been tough, but your video is just what I needed for that last “push” to start saving up. The therapeutic benefits are huge, and much needed. Thanks for the great info! Also, this video has perfect timing. Today’s my birthday, and I really needed a chill vibe due to all the stress I’ve had as of late. You’re the best Emily
That was great! I’ve been building Gunpla for a couple years now off and on and I love it. I’m not the biggest Gundam fan even, I just mostly buy ones I think look cool lol. But sitting down and building a model is so calming and fun! Robin is also my favorite SH and I do have a lot of figures of her, but I agree: most of them are ridiculously proportioned and so fan-servicey lol. I wish they’d tone it down a little!
I’m so far behind on Gundam I don’t really consider myself a major fan either, but I LOVE the designs! What are your current top 5 or so favorites? I want to start saving up
@@BespokeSlipp Haha I think the last series I watched all the way through was G Gundam so I really just go through and pick kits based solely on visuals alone. The Gunpla subreddit has a lot of links and resources on where to buy for decent prices. I don't usually go for the big ones like Emily showed off in her video, I mostly build smaller HG models, BUT the biggest one I have and love is the MG Endless Waltz Tallgeese. I typically go for the less flashy sets overall and my other HG favorites that I built are probably the Cosmic era Dagger L, Gundam 0083 GM Type C, and the MS Leo, but I can also recommend anything from the Iron Blooded Orphans line, those all look cool and I have a good amount of G Gundam ones too; Burning Gundam, Shining Finger, and Nobell are all great ones imo. Like she said though it can be yet another expensive hobby lol. Have fun!
I love seeing all the pickups! I've been going on an Xbox kick lately. There are not many but I'm trying to get all the exclusive RPGs while they're still cheap.
Now's the best time to buy them. I should probably try to get at least Lost Odyssey, that's the one I always regret never playing when I had access to a 360 back in the day.
I also have Valkyria Chronicles II for PSP. I bought it a couple years ago. Played it, for awhile, but have not finished it yet. I have Valkyrie Profile 2 for PS2. Nendroid looks really cute! One piece poster with party celebration is really nice one! Great pickups!
I love Valkyria Chronicles! I would suggest playing them in order, but maybe skip 2, it's not bad but nowhere near the quality of 1, 3, and 4. The stories are mostly self contained so you don't miss much by playing them in any order you want, though 😊
Agreed. I did play Plume for the ds first before getting into Lenneth & I loved knowing the actions of the Valkyrie before knowing the Valkyrie herself - it was a more dynamic way to get into the world of Valkyrie Profile imo. I also know the ds has multiple endings so beginning there first then Lenneth means you can swing back around for a satisfying game saga😊
I recently went from just owning my Falcom games digitally to now wanting to get a physical copy of every game I can along with starting to collect of Falcom figures...I certainly entered another rabbit hole 😂😂😂😂
I've heard some modelers use #2000 sanding stick instead of topcoat to give their model kits a matt finish. They are also quite cheap. I haven't tried it myself but I do think it is a good substitute for topcoat especially when you don't have tools and space for painting. But for Divine Knights kits from Trails maybe #8000+ is a better choice to give them a glossy finish instead of matt.
Great pickups. Oh nice I have that Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth on PSP. Have the first Nights of Azure, still need to get the 2nd one. Oh yeah about Xbox first party games going multi-platform, like Starfield, Hi-FI Rush, Gears of War,etc. I'm guessing Xbox might be leaving the console market..will have to wait and see when Microsoft makes the announcement. I don't really get the Limited release games..cause like you I got so many. Cool model kits..never got into them, but they do look fun. I have a few One Piece figures and Nami is my fav. Thanks for sharing.
Nice pickups! It's always fun to see what people collect beyond games too. You pulling out the Gundam models reminded me of one of the dumbest little knick knacks I have, a 1/25 scale model of a telephone pole that I got from a gachapon in Japan lolol. I have it taped to my desk atm, it's very silly and I love it And since you mentioned Gust, I was actually wondering if you've ever tried either of the Blue Reflection games? I've only played the demo of 2 but I thought it was really neat and something I've been meaning to get around to finishing. I actually didn't even know it was Gust at first, but I was impressed with how polished it was and it all made sense when I realized they were the dev. Atelier is less my aesthetic, but Blue Reflection has a cool, kinda surreal and ethereal tone to it crossed with pretty flashy magical girl adjacent stuff. It's a nice change of pace from the more traditional fantasy stuff they usually do.
Robin’s my favorite Strawhat too, and I agree with you on the struggles of finding a good Robin figure that isn’t questionable. With Bandai making figures of the pre-timeskip One Piece designs (starting with Luffy and Nami), I really hope we get a cool pre-timeskip Figuarts Nico Robin.
@orbalology The PS2 game is also fantastic but it is both and prequel and a direct sequel so it spoils parts. I haven't beaten the DS game but also didn't really enjoy it
I love all the PSVitas ports coming to the Switch. I never had a vita, I did have a PSP but I had more movies then games. I look forward to Hakuoki: Chronicles of Wind and Blossom and Tokyo Xanadu eX+ the most.
I'm very excited for those Switch vita ports as well!! Even though it seems like my Vita is going to get less and less love over time 😅 it's at least a great device for emulating.
@@orbalology I definitely will! I used to assemble the Gundam model kits when I was a kid and had a blast! I'm sure it will bring back some fun memories of my youth.
Great pickups video, Emily! Well spoken with confident delivery! I'm on a low buy this year too... I might last another couple weeks 😂 j/k Keep up the fun videos and enjoy these new games
Hey Emily! Wow another amazing video. It's so cool that you are a fan of One Piece. One Piece was the anime that got me into anime figure collecting. Not only that but the Megahouse POP (Sailing Again) were the figures that ended my 'in the box' way of collecting. My anime figure collection number in the hundreds and it all started with Luffy and his crew.
Oh I'm glad to hear you love collecting one piece figures! At some point I want to expand my collection to have a figure to represent all the straw hats & some of my other favorites. I don't have the room right now, but long term goals! 😊
@@orbalology If I could offer a suggestion? If you are looking for just one figure to represent the Straw Hats, I think you could never go wrong with Luffy himself. Luckily there's no shortage of figures for him. Since you have the pre-time skip Robin, I think the One Piece - Monkey D. Luffy - Portrait Of Pirates Neo - Excellent Model might be a good choice. Solaris Japan has him pretty cheap too.
Really awesome pickups, those figures are absolutely gorgeous, it's been a while since I've purchased any figures for myself, as it's a fairly expensive hobby 😅 Great video, Emily!
Figures can be massively expensive! Especially once you get a taste for scale or even resin figures 🥲 I have a bunch on preorder releasing in the summer that I've been trying to prioritize saving for, looking at the numbers is making me question that decision a bit but I'm sure once they arrive I won't mind too terribly 😅
Man this reminded me to pick up Valkyria Chronicles 2. I have 1 on PS3 and Switch and 4 on Switch, but I haven't really played through them either. Hopefully 2 isn't too crazy expensive these days.
I've found 2 to be one of the more reasonably priced RPGs you can pick up on the PSP these days. So hopefully you can find a good deal on a used copy too!
Great pickups video!! I will only pick up FF7 Rebirth this month. March is going to be packed for me because I will be picking up Unicorn Overlord, Rise of the Ronin and Dragon's Dogma 2. I can relate to the "no shelf space" situation. My Valamir is still in the box 😢. It will be my first model kit so I'm excited when I eventually get to it. My goal with the One Piece figures is to have at least one figure of each Straw Hat crew member. I'm just missing half the crew. On the Falcom side, I'm waiting for the Estelle figure and eventually the Joshua figure (I need both them).
Personally I will wait on Dragon's Dogma 2, I think I'll be busy enough with Persona 3 Reload and Final Fantasy Rebirth, as well as my increasingly large backlog xd
@@arfanik9827 I had to pick Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth over P3R and Granblue Fantasy Relink last month. 3 awesome games releasing a week apart is absolutely crazy. I think will pick them up eventually.
I would love to have a figure of all the straw hats too (and Law because I adore him lol). Maybe someday I'll make that happen, but it's tricky trying to find the right line of figures because they all have varying heights and aesthetics.
I'd recommend some rechargeable AA batteries for the controller. IKEA sells some good ones for a decent price. Being able to quickly swap batteries instead of plugging in is nice and the official xbox battery packs aren't great in my experiance👍
Some really nice pickups.. I must admit.. it's been an odd month since I went in for quantity this month.. Persona 3 reload and Dragon Warrior VII (bought both this month) are my current playthroughs.. after platinum'ing.. FFI pixel and Crisis core HD in January.. Next pickups.. Due to a 3 for 2.. I was able to get FFXVI for £5 (harvestella/nier switch were other games) :D I upgraded to Breath of Fire III on ps1.. Lastly went DS/3ds heavy.. Tingle Rosy Ruppeeland.. Ever Oasis, Izuna 1, infinite space.. and got my XB3 Amiibo set
Awesome video, Emily! If you're interested in a gaming laptop, I bought a Dell G7 15 several years ago and it's served me pretty well. There's probably a newer model now but that could be a good starting point. As a fun fact, I bought the laptop to play Trails in the Sky The 3rd on Steam. It was totally worth it!
I'm a bit concerned about getting a gaming laptop because all my laptops seem to have an expiration date 😅 So I may have to take the plunge and get a desktop with the option to upgrade parts over time.
@@orbalology Yeah, that happens to me too though my Dell one has lasted quite a while and it's still in great shape. I personally prefer the space and mobility of laptops since they're great for travel or moving. Haven't had a desktop since I was a kid. 😂
Nice pick ups. I have a bunch of puzzles to put together for the same reason. I love the Valkyria Chronicles games, I wish Sega would port 2 & 3 to the Playstation 5, just straight up ports no frills.
I like the Xbox controllers. I use them on my series x, my nvidia shield and the steam deck. I have like 9 different colors and the purple and stellar shift are probably my favs. You’re absolutely right about building models. It’s really relaxing for me. You should try a Lego set one day.
Saw the video thumbnail as I was scrolling through my youtube feed and went "hey, is that Ordine?" Clicked on this video and was glad to see that, yes, it was Ordine.
As a big One Piece fan myself, I would love to hear you talk about more One Piece. Law, Uta, Yamato, Zoro, and Robin are probably my favorite characters in the series
I really love one piece, I have seen all of the original episodes as they aired but I have not seen any of the movies and I’m rewatching the series again 😂😂😂 I was able to play the games since it was on the free play days on Xbox series x. Last weekend it was odyssey and the weekend before that I played pirate warriors 4
Ah fun! I have just a few of the One Piece games, but I've been meaning to finish up my playthrough of Unlimited World Red & Romance Dawn and look into getting World Seeker at some point.
Without playing the game itself, but just from looking at the cover and artbook, I would recommend reading the first two My Next Life As A Villainess light novels (which yeah J-Novel Club has them) or watching season 1 of the anime which covers that same material. It would give you a decent familiarity with the characters. I've read through I think book 8 of the novels and while they tend to vary in quality later on, those first 2 books are really good.
The purple controller is super cute. Be careful with the bumper buttons. I broke mine on DMC 5 lol. Its a known issue, but thankfully there are repair kits on Amazon.
I'm on low buy too, Emily, but in 2024 I've already picked up three Switch games: The Princess Guide, Fate/Samurai Remnant and Aokana 😬 I don't usually play VN on Switch, but yeah, I guess it was an impulse buying 😅 Thank you for sharing, Emily 😚
@@orbalology talking about surprise, there's Nintendo Direct tomorrow, Emily 🤠 Excited I am, but since I'm on low-buy, this can be "dangerous" 😆 I'll try to hold off buying until like Black Friday 🤭
The highlights of the video are definitely Valimar and Ordine; they are insanely cool. I've only played Sky 1 and Cold Steel 1 and 2, so I don't have a favorite yet based on the games or pilots, but from what I saw in your video, Ordine is great with a fierce arachnid resemblance, and the color is vibrant, but somehow it made it look more like a toy. Valimar, on the other hand, looks so badass with the huge katana, the silver & gold color, and even some wear (I don't know if it is the paint job or it came looking that way) that made it look battered from battle; it adds personality to an already wicked model.
Some of the wear is from the black panel line marker I was using! I liked how that turned out but there are areas that can be majorly improved so hoping it won't take me too much longer to apply that same effect consistently on both models.
Orbalology, You probably wont see this but I'm wondering how you feel about the Xseed games. Specifically, Silent hope and Trinity Trigger. I had a good friend buy me the day 1 edition of silent hope and I've enjoyed it enough that I went out and got Trinity Trigger day 1 edition right after. Both games are inexpensive and come with a decent amount of goods (soundtrack, 96 page artbook, and physical game with booklet) on top of a decent looking box. Curious if you planned on possibly picking up either title?
I've been eyeing silent hope in particular! Still a little uncertain about picking up Trinity trigger for myself. But I overall enjoy xseed games like the rune factory series.
If you're still looking for a good way to tackle the VC series, might I suggest playing the original first followed by VC 3, and VC 4. Then lastly VC 2. VC 3, the unicorn of the series, will need a fan translation download. Unless you can read kanji.
Excited that im on time 🤓 Only notable things for me this past month was Another Code: Recollection and Ender Lillies. I also picked up a Nitro Deck 🤔 Mainly play in handheld mode on switch and it's been a nice thing to have. Would love Valkaria Chronicles 2/3 on switch. I dont like that i have 1&4 and not the two games in between 🥴
It would be cool if Sega brought the rest of the Valkyria Chronicles over to the switch, and created a physical edition for the first game. Would hate to see them give up on the franchise, I feel like Switch ports would help rekindle it.
I think avoiding modern Xbox is a good call. I collect for the 360 and OG Xbox, plenty of really good and cheap games, but sadly the newer releases on the Series X/S need downloads and the it and the Xbox One lack exclusives. As for PC controllers, I've been using my 360 controller for well over 15 years, excellent controller and works with most modern games and emulators without issue. Steam has plenty of exclusives and cheaper 3rd party indie games and PC gaming opens you up to many emulators. I prefer playing on original hardware, but there are a lot of good fan translations that would be difficult or impossible to play easily otherwise (Like VC3), plus you can make graphics on early 3D games look better and add Widescreen support for PS2 games which massively improve my experiences with them =)
I've never owned an Xbox before and was pretty shocked when I found out the controller for their current gen console still requires AA batteries. I heard it was because Xbox has an existing agreement with Duracell but no idea if that's true or not
As someone who was a fan of xbox during the original xbox and 360 pained me to leave them behind. I'm a fan of the off set sticks and form factor of their controllers. Also the fact that it doesn't have a built in battery is a huge plus for longevity. Buy a rechargeable pack or some rechargeable AA batteries and just swap them around. Where as with Sony at some point the controller will need to be disassembled for battery replacement. I tried to pre-order rebirth deluxe edition a week ago but I guess I waited too long, looks like they're on ebay now for nearly double price. Also was really looking forward to the second hellblade game that is supposedly xbox exclusive. I was pretty disappointed that they announced the game will be digital only. Xbox simply won't give me a way to buy a complete physical game from them so I had to move on unfortunately. If you plan to buy any 360 classic rpg's that you mentioned in your video now is the time. The price of 360 games will likely go up when they close the 360 marketplace in July.
if you're building a gaming PC, I encourage you to keep up with some of the news for this year's hardware releases. Zen 5 from AMD is a big development in CPUs and it's probably a good pickup, but it might be several months until they're out. And nVIDIA's rtx 5000 series is on the horizon. Maybe you're going for the latest and greatest or maybe you're not, but I think it's good to know before making a purchase, since prices could be affected and performance as well as price per performance ratio should be considered circa the release date. I've waited years for this year's hardware, so just be informed!
Im new to your channel. Love the videos you make. I love gaming and have been trying like crazy to get my wife into it. She is worried about eye hand coordination. Any advice for me?
By worried about eye hand coordination, do you mean she has concerns that she may not be able to play many games because of poor hand eye coordination or something else? I guess my advice is to look into games that don't emphasize those aspects of gameplay. So something that is turned based if she wants to try RPGs, or look into some visual novels or other games that allow players to take their time to input the commands/buttons :)
@@orbalology I bought 8 AA's and a 4 AA charger so I keep 4 on the charger at all times and the other 4 AAs are in 2 of my 6 Xbox controllers. I also use them in my 360 controllers as well... Also make sure you get the Xbox USB receiver. It allows up to 4 controllers at one time on PC but if you use Bluetooth, you are limited to one. I never got BT working well on a controller.
I''ve had Valkyria Chronicles 4 CE for years but haven't even put it in my Switch yet.... the box was too nice, the boys were too cute, and the price was too reasonable to pass it up! I'm surprised that Microsoft is making decent Xbox controller colors. (Love that purple and white!) After the horrible colors of the Zune players, I didn't have a lot of faith that they could put together a good color scheme... the Zune colors reminded me of that South Park episode where Eric Cartman makes a revenge service and advertises various disgusting colors of 💩to his clientele. With regards to Valimar (you were the one who brought these kits to my attention and Ordine is on the way now), how was your final result? I've never done models before, and while it felt like it went pretty well, it seems like trying to pose it in any way results in something popping off, like an arm or a wing blade or a leg... I live in abject fear of touching Valimar. 😆 Yours looks so much more stable than mine... if I picked mine up and started waving it around like that, it would end up in three pieces. (I ordered a second one that is prepainted coming out later this year... I figured I might just need practice.) Glad to hear Ordine was easier and more fun... other people I've talked to have said the opposite! I'm hoping he turns out a little more securely put together. I've decided to stick just to Kotobukiya for Trails figures... I need to draw the line somewhere... I hope they show the Joshua one soon! I know I don't have to let you know that Emma is coming out shortly! 🎉 I caved and bought the CEs of both Kuro no Kiseki games in JP... the CEs look great and were not too bad in terms of price. Always great to see a new video from one of my favorite TH-camrs... LOL and the one that led me into the realm of figure collecting, which is something I've never gotten into before. No mention of Persona 3 Reload that I could tell... are you planning on playing it? The CE looks amazing even though I'm not stoked about the game since I love FeMC and Theodore so much.

If you decide to go down the gunpla rabbithole, I hope you find it as enjoyable as I have!! Also happy belated birthday!
@@orbalology Thank you so much!!
Have fun!
Someday the perfect Robin figure will release, I just hope it happens sooner rather than later 😅😂
Great pickups! I am super curious about Nights of Azure 2 actually! I may have to get that.
Oh if you decide to pick it up I'll be curious how it goes for you!
So cool seeing you go into modeling!!! ONE OF US!!!! ONE OF US!!!! ONE OF US!!!! 🤣 awesome pick ups
Nice pickups! It's always fun to see what people collect beyond games too. You pulling out the Gundam models reminded me of one of the dumbest little knick knacks I have, a 1/25 scale model of a telephone pole that I got from a gachapon in Japan lolol. I have it taped to my desk atm, it's very silly and I love it
And since you mentioned Gust, I was actually wondering if you've ever tried either of the Blue Reflection games? I've only played the demo of 2 but I thought it was really neat and something I've been meaning to get around to finishing. I actually didn't even know it was Gust at first, but I was impressed with how polished it was and it all made sense when I realized they were the dev. Atelier is less my aesthetic, but Blue Reflection has a cool, kinda surreal and ethereal tone to it crossed with pretty flashy magical girl adjacent stuff. It's a nice change of pace from the more traditional fantasy stuff they usually do.
Im really enjoying you videos and your love for physical games. Especially your emphasis on quality over quantity.
Thank you so much! :)
Lil gator game was really cute. I think I took 5 hours to finish so it's not a massive time sink if you wanted to play this between larger games.
Definitely start with the PSP version of Valkyrie Profile! It is such a fantastic game
Good to know, thank you!!
Awesome pickups, Emily!! I definitely need to grab those model kits as well 🤭!
Thanks Shelly, hope you enjoy putting them together as much as I have!
@@orbalology I definitely will! I used to assemble the Gundam model kits when I was a kid and had a blast! I'm sure it will bring back some fun memories of my youth.
You did a good job on those Models, hope you got a good job- we spend so much time at work, it's important to find one that feels rewarding.
🐕
Can't complain about my job/career! I agree finding a fulfilling one is extremely important.
Great pickups video, Emily! Well spoken with confident delivery! I'm on a low buy this year too... I might last another couple weeks 😂 j/k
Keep up the fun videos and enjoy these new games
Valcyria cronicles 2 was one of my recent psp pickups too and I really love the series 😊
Hi Emily, beautiful controller. I recommend investing in some rechargeable eneloop batteries, best part is you can use them on other things.
@@orbalology As long as you're happy with the purchase in the end, then purchase well made 😎
Man this reminded me to pick up Valkyria Chronicles 2.
Dang, I did miss that teeny Altina Nendo, shoot. Everything looks great, though, nice work on the models as well!
Maybe someday I'll make that happen, but it's tricky trying to find the right line of figures because they all have varying heights and aesthetics.
aah lil' Gator is so good!! one of my faves from what I played last year 🐊
I had no idea you liked the One Piece TCG! They had some smaller, really nice Wano figures for Robin and Nami! Great video, Em! 🔥
Once you get a taste for expensive scale figures, it's difficult looking at the more affordable options 🙈
Awsome video really love the statues and the models looked great may have to try one myself keep the content coming love it.
I'd recommend some rechargeable AA batteries for the controller. IKEA sells some good ones for a decent price. Being able to quickly swap batteries instead of plugging in is nice and the official xbox battery packs aren't great in my experiance👍
Valkyrie Profile 2 is the first in the timeline followed by 1 then DS but you can play them in any order.
I was able to get FFXVI for £5 (harvestella/nier switch were other games) :D
I upgraded to Breath of Fire III on ps1..
Nice to see you again, nice little collection of cool stuff 👍
I believe MS is stuck in a long lasting deal going back to the Xbox 360 with Duracell so they still have to use AA batteries in their controllers.
Nice pick ups. I have a bunch of puzzles to put together for the same reason. I love the Valkyria Chronicles games, I wish Sega would port 2 & 3 to the Playstation 5, just straight up ports no frills.
Those model kits look pretty good painted, been on the fence about getting them…I’m also a Crow girlie so been wanting Ordine more than Valimar
I really enjoyed building Ordine & think he'd be a great fist kit to try out! :)
21:50 as a car girl, i absolutely love that
I like the Xbox controllers. I use them on my series x, my nvidia shield and the steam deck. I have like 9 different colors and the purple and stellar shift are probably my favs.
You’re absolutely right about building models. It’s really relaxing for me. You should try a Lego set one day.
I've actually built quite a number of Lego sets over the years! They're fun too :)
12:28 😮 that steelbook is beautiful! 😭
I picked up Valkyria Chronicles 1 on PS3 day one back in the day. Such a great game.
I’ve been playing the Yakuza series , on number two now , my God how did I miss these ! Nice video 😀👍🇦🇺🙏
Ah, the Yakuza franchise is one I've been wanting to get into. Maybe I'll be able to squeeze them in one of these days 🙈
Saw the video thumbnail as I was scrolling through my youtube feed and went "hey, is that Ordine?" Clicked on this video and was glad to see that, yes, it was Ordine.
Try any of the Entry Grade gunpla kits if you want something economical to practice painting on
I thought about picking up the model kits recently. I think I'm going to do so. I also Altina online as well. Shelf space is also a problem 😂
As a big One Piece fan myself, I would love to hear you talk about more One Piece. Law, Uta, Yamato, Zoro, and Robin are probably my favorite characters in the series
I'll have to see how I can incorporate some more into the content :)
Thank you for this insight! I'll have to give the light novels a try!
The purple controller is super cute. Be careful with the bumper buttons. I broke mine on DMC 5 lol. Its a known issue, but thankfully there are repair kits on Amazon.
Oh thanks for letting me know about that! I'll have to keep those repair kits in mind whenever that inevitably happens to mine 😅
Fingers crossed, it doesn't happen! Can't wait to see your opinions of Nights of Azure 2.
Thanks for watching! Sometimes impulse buys can surprise us & have us try new genres. I've been eyeing Aokana as well actually 😅
Gaming PC! Finally!! Well soon.
Once I figure out my moving situation (if it comes to that) I'm hoping to maybe even build one. But we'll see 😂
I'll watch your vid this Thursday. Too tired. I promise I'll watch it then.
I love how chopper says Robin's name
Agreed! It's awfully cute :)
Excited that im on time 🤓
Only notable things for me this past month was Another Code: Recollection and Ender Lillies. I also picked up a Nitro Deck 🤔
Mainly play in handheld mode on switch and it's been a nice thing to have.
Saved the best for last I see. Luffy approves!
I prefer playing on original hardware, but there are a lot of good fan translations that would be difficult or impossible to play easily otherwise (Like VC3), plus you can make graphics on early 3D games look better and add Widescreen support for PS2 games which massively improve my experiences with them =)
It would be cool if they made a military strategy RPG set in zemuria during the Hundred Days War
Ohh, that would be an awesome spinoff!
Great pickups video! Keep it up
I've never owned an Xbox before and was pretty shocked when I found out the controller for their current gen console still requires AA batteries. I heard it was because Xbox has an existing agreement with Duracell but no idea if that's true or not
I was really shocked to find out about it too - figured batteries would be a thing of the past for modern controllers but I guess not 🙈
Sorry, just noticing that your audio has really improved. Did you get a new microphone?
So something that is turned based if she wants to try RPGs, or look into some visual novels or other games that allow players to take their time to input the commands/buttons :)
get Eneloop Pro batteries and a charger... they last long in a controller and they are usable for other things besides gaming
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to look into those.
The Trails of Cold Steel 3/4 on the PS5 is double dip worthy for sure. Hopefully it goes way up in value.
I'm really excited for that huge fabric map 😂
Serious question, did you talk about your t-shirt, it looks so cool, that would be a nice addition to your content... gaming clothing
I like this topic i wish i can have those Action figures especially my favorite games ❤❤❤
Valkyrie Profile is what you want to start with amazing game :)
I played Bastion on Steam, and let's just say after I cranked up the extra difficulties, I wasn't very nice to my controller.
Oh no!
I figured I might just need practice.)
Glad to hear Ordine was easier and more fun... other people I've talked to have said the opposite! I'm hoping he turns out a little more securely put together.
I've decided to stick just to Kotobukiya for Trails figures... I need to draw the line somewhere... I hope they show the Joshua one soon! I know I don't have to let you know that Emma is coming out shortly! 🎉
I caved and bought the CEs of both Kuro no Kiseki games in JP... the CEs look great and were not too bad in terms of price.
Great video and pick ups!
