    Is it just me or is it ridiculous when chairs like these have those holes in the back, like someone is going to strap into this thing with a 4 point harness.

    • @Ahnestly
      @Ahnestly  หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      lolll you know what's interesting? Those holes make excellent handles for moving these chairs around and makes it a LOT easier when you're outside of the chair (since the thing is so tall and heavy). I don't think it was intended for this, but it works!

      I personally find the Kaiser 4 more comfortable to sit in compared to the Fractal, but it depends on whether you want plushiness or something a little firmer/upright. Really like your reviews. I've gotten some good ideas for my home/office from them. I was hoping you would do a review of the Kaiser 4! I need a new chair and haven't been able to find one locally that I like.
    I have some questions though (sorry for the long post):
    Does the seat "wobble" a lot? The one I have now, which I'll be returning, wobbles at the slightest movement.
    Do the arm wrests (on the 3 or 4) move freely front/back, in/out, rotate? The home/office chair I have from work has arm rests that move easily and I'm constantly having to re-adjust them. Also, how stable are they..do they have any wobble of their own?
    Again for the arm rests, do you ever bang your leg/knee on the adjustment lever? Seems like that would be easy to do for people that sit cross legged or one-under as you say.
    And arm rests again: from the manual, it looks like they can also be adjusted in/out from the mounting plates on the bottom of the chair some as well. Can you confirm this?
    How stiff is the rocking motion. The soon to be returned chair has a spring that even in it's most relaxed setting, it forces your forward. There is no way to rock back and stay rocked back without having to constantly push off from something, which kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me.
    Did you test/compare against the normal or "pro" versions of the chairs?
    For Andaseat, do you prefer their fake leather, or cloth? I've heard that the "leather" and stitching on the 3 decays quickly. The last chair I had lasted over 12 years so I would really like something that is going to last.
    General question. I work from home full time so I'm in sitting at my computer 8+ hours a day. I don't have a lot of, shall we say, natural cushion, due to weight loss from one of my meds, so I'm looking for a chair that doesn't have hard foam cushioning. I'm 5' 10", 200+ still. Would the large work, or would the XXL be better? Oh, one other requirement, it has to be "cat approved", meaning that I sometimes have one, if not two, cats curled up in my lap (one leg under the other usually). It needs to be deep/wide enough that my legs are supported and that I don't feel like I'm about to fall out the front. Unfortunately, there are no local stores in my area that carry Andaseat chairs so I can't test any of this out for myself without purchasing and possibly having to pay return shipping if it doesn't work out
    Good catch on the small rise at the back of the arm wrest. I've been leaning toward the ones on the 4 or 3 Pro because they are longer/wider and I could sit my trackball on it and still have room to wrest my arm. One of my cats likes to curl up on in the crook of my arm and take a nap, so having the arm wrest that flips up looks like it would help there, but that rise at the back of the arm might make that uncomfortable unless I can find some way to cushion that part.
    Thanks, and keep up the reviews. I got a feeling I'll be ordering one of them this weekend, and I'll definitely use your code.
    p.s. I'm already thinking of ways to add a "cat shelf" on the back of the chair and loop it through the two opening at the top. Perfect place for one of them to take a nap...

    Curious if adding a small pillow in the gap would help with comfort in the reclined position.

    • @Ahnestly
      @Ahnestly  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it could, but it's not a gap that's the issue, it's how the lumbar is rounded in a way that fits when you sit, but the highest part of the roundedness hits a weird place when you lay back. Imagine laying down and place a pillow in the middle of your back - even though the pillow is squishy, still doesn't feel comfy

    • @NeonShores
      @NeonShores หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Ahnestly I see. So you'd actually have to add a larger pillow higher up to offset the weird lumbar and even then it might not help much. I just am having issues with my current chair and neck pain, so I need a headrest and would love to be able to lounge and lay back.

    • @Ahnestly
      @Ahnestly  หลายเดือนก่อน

    Hi, Dan. I'm looking to replace my 10+ year-old Secretlab Titan with a new chair, to be used mostly for pc gaming and watching tv, which I also use as a monitor.
    I've narrowed it down to the newest Secretlab Titan Evo, a referb Leap V2 from Crandall, and the Haworth Soji. I plan to use your affiliate link if available, of course
    But I need advice on which to choose. I know from your videos that Steelcase and Haworth are considered better chairs with better warranties (although BTOD says that the 12-year warranty on the Soji doesn't apply to the upholstery, which is only 5 years). But the Titan Evo has the better recline, rocking, locking tilt, and a pillow for a headrest. As for the harder seat, I could use a seat cushion.
    Your advice would be greatly appreciated. 😊

    • @Ahnestly
      @Ahnestly  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The downsides with the Leap and Soji will be that you won't have a headrest option for reclining (The Leap has a couple...but none that I would recommend. Atlas Headrest and Crandall office are collaborating on one as we speak, but unsure of release date. Most likely 2025).
      Me personally, I find the Titan Evo 2022 just too firm compared to the Andaseat, but customer service on both the racing style gaming chairs can be hit or miss.
      If I had to give strategy, I would say try the Steelcase and Haworth first, since they offer free no hassle returns. If you're not satisfied, then go with the Titan Evo 2022.
      If I had to pick, my order would be this...
      #1 Leap v2 from Crandall Office with the thicker seat cushion
      #2 Haworth Soji
      #3 Titan Evo 2022
      Let me know what you end up with and thank you for using my links. Helps the channel a LOT!!

      I totally get this, but at the end of the day, I'm all about if you want something and you like it, eff what people say and just get it. There are some folks that just can't get comfortable in an office chair, and even some who swear by racing style gaming chairs over expensive ergonomic chairs (I've had people tell me they returned their $2k Herman Miller Embody for a Titan Evo 2022). I think the racing-style gaming chair has a place in the chair market for people who want a lot of relax options or sit unconventionally.
