hey man, you should've wiped the thermal paste off the stock cooler before putting a different paste on the cpu. it can cause inconsistencies as thermal pastes have different thermal conductivity. this can lead to big overheating and damaging the cpu in the long run

Btw I’m trying to upgrade my pc. Rn I have a dell gaming laptop, but I wanna start streaming. What is a good pc that is not too expensive, but is also good for gaming games like Fortnite and streaming? I also don’t have a lot to spend so I’ll need to save up.
I recommend a custom build u can try and get i5 12400f and rtx 4060 since u want to stream i think these are really good

dont get the 8gb vram 4060, try and get onto am5, so maybe go with the 7600. am5 has a lot of upgradeability, until at least 2027, and the 12400f is on a dead platform
@c-cayne.executable the am5 is a great option but the rx7600 is good for gaming only thats why i recommended NVIDIA

Buddy, the a520 is just a cheaper cutdown chipset of the b550. You can use (pretty much) the same cpus in it. Its AM4 but i wouldnt put a ryzen 9 in it. It can probably handle a 5800x3d or lower. Its a really budget option for mobos. Also i think you can get a 12th gen i9 rn for pretty cheap. Like $250
