Just a suggestion you guys might go and put in the video that the 18mm and 32 mm bolt and nut are left handed threads. I sheared off the 18mm bolt. But otherwise good video.
I have smoked the same belt probably 30 times and still haven't replaced it. Its a farm wheeler so probably won't get fixed until it breaks or stops moving. Im surprised how well it still does definitely has a jerky take off but still pulls a loaded wagon no problem. Honestly I think cfmoto makes some great utility SxS for around the farm they're affordable and it seem to be holding up quite well so far but only time will tell.
Ok so you used the impact to retighten bolt and nuts. I check and I know that my bolt wasn’t at 60nm and my primary nut was for sure not torqued to 180nm and the secondary was also very easy to get off.
I have the brunt boots. They are very stiff at the beginning but then it gets the shape of your feet .. its nice.. but not for walking. I walk alot at work on concrete floor .. my feet still hurts after wearing them for like 1 month. 12 hour shift 4 days a week
I was surprised to see you back off the secondary spreader tool before torquing the clutch plates. I suppose it's because this is a dry clutch CVT and there's slack in the belt even when at rest/starting ratio. This would be risky in a constant tension CVT like the 800 sxs's. Then the belt would become tight and the sheave halves would pinch the belt and give a false torque reading.
Why do u have to take the clutch main bolts off ? Why cant u jus spread the secondary clutch open n pull the belt off like a canam ? And does it matter the direction of what side the belt goes on u didnt show if the belt letters/numbers had to be facing to the back or to the front etc etc , so ur saying u will need a 36mm n 32mm n 18mm n jus take the clutch off then spread it , whats the use of using the spreader tool if ur going to take the clutchs off , not a quick fix on the trail in the woods
is it possable to replace the belt by just spreading the secondary and not taking either primary or secondary off? I have a cforce 1000 overland and ask in case of a broken belt on a trail ride where I would not have a inpact driver or proper tools. Thanks, love your channel.
@@NORCALLIFEROG The thread pitch refers to the distance between threads on a screw or bolt. It is an important measurement in fastening and machining, as it determines how tightly a screw will thread into a hole or how a bolt will mate with a nut.

If it has been operated in High gear when it should be in low and it got in a bind and slipped the belt bad enough then it can cause a glazed spot.. You can keep running it of course but you may experience some jerkiness until that spot is wore through
@@eightdsbaby4003 High is really only for sustained speed on trails. Anything under 20 you should always be in low. After my clutch kits went in my units I can't even remember the last time I used high. It'll do 40 in low.

You should be able to change the belt without doing anything other than spreading the secondary.
You certainly can
I did on a cforce 1000 and I can tell you it not easy

2 questions.
1. So If I need to replace my belt (22 800ex) on the trail I have to have special tools?
2. What is proper belt break in?
Would you take more apart if the belt exploded in the case? There was not much left of anything other than a lot of white cobwebs from the belt left.
Clean it all out really well and make sure you remove your outlet air duct from the CVT and make sure belt pieces aren’t up in there
You have no drive belts. How do I get that spreader tool? Also, can you tell me the way you break in the belt? Uforce 1000 2023. Thank you.
should be a threaded L shaped tool in your glove box that came with the machine that'll do the same thing theirs did
Great how to video.
Thank ya sir
Blew my belt last week on a 2021 cforce 500s got 19000 klm and 3 years later
It was the stock belt first one
Should the old belt be sanded or roughed up to be reused?

yep
what is the thread pitch for the t handle tool ? My buggy didn't have them in the tool kit
I have a couple of those: I think they used the correct one - otherwise the threads would've been stripped.

What’s the name of the tool to loosing up the belt ?
Belt-a-loos.
what the rotation of the belt, where the arrows should point at?
Now I replaced the belt, but I forgot to put glue on it bolt. Should I take it apart again or ?
I’m just curious how many miles you got on yours cause I’m up to 1,400
Would it also cause the machine to squeal if the belt was burnt up (cforce 1000)

The 18mm bolt reverse threaded?
Yes just took mine off 10 min ago.
Is the 18mm bolt and 32mm nut reverse threaded?
Yes.
Is it possible to replace the belt without the tool? On snowmobiles you can spread the secondary enough to get slack in the belt and slip it off.
Do the nut spin the opposite way when you taking off the clutch?
The primary is reverse threaded.
Whats that little tool
Is there a water drain plug in the housing
