    I recently shredded a cvt belt whilst out on a mission! …I had a spare and torque impact wrench with me…along with your video I was able to successfully change the belt without any problems! Thank you! Dave🇬🇧🇬🇧

    Is this a official CFMoto video? The reason I ask is, In the CFMoto 2022 service manual for a CForce 1000 Overland it says to never use a inpact driver to loosen or tighten any of the secondary or primary bolts. I assume this is becouse it coud dammage the bearings? It also shows torque for each nut and all three are diffrent. You cant acheive this with a inpact drive.

    So it's not possible to change the belt on the trail? Unless you have an impact gun and huge sockets with you

    This is all great, but what are the torque specs for the bolts? Thanks!
    Also, important thing to point out that is missing here, belt is directional, and the arrows must point the front of the vehicle when looking from the top.

      Ok, so for all of you that are searching the internet for the answer, I finally found it in the service manual (for 850xc). Driver pulely main nut = 180Nm, driver pulley shaft nut = 60Nm, driven pulley nut = 150Nm

    The m6 bolt isn't loosening the belt. The m6 doesn't go all the way in, seems like it stops after you screw it in half way in or so. Any tips or another way to loosen the belt?

    Hi! Good video, but a couple of questions:
    the arrows on the belt should show the direction of the belt when its moving on drive? Usually they say that the letters and numbers should be readable when you install the belt so the exact opposite direction?
    the discs (pulleys) are balanced (there are drilling marks on the disc), also the cover (the ramp plate) on the disc is balanced. so is it important to assembly the ramp plate exactly to the same position as it was done by factory or is it not important as both of these parts are balanced separately?

    How to perform such Belt exchange on the wild (imagine yourself on a trail without anykind of help or support near)? Any other simpler way can be possible? Less tools?

      @luizdanielsantos 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@chelifan24 I've tested. The belt replacement procedure is one-way: easy to insert, hard to extract/remove. If the belt breaks in the wild, just open the plastic cover, clean the CVT, put a long bolt to open the CVT, cut the remaings of the old belt and push the new belt into the CVT. Remove the bolt and close the plastic cover.

    Just sharing...my 2021 cforce 400 2up needed a 32mm, not 30mm on the primary.
    For those asking about the M6 bolt. I picked up a 60 mm m6 bolt just to be safe, was more than enough. Was just over $1, better than buying a $20 tool.
