Cub Cadets were awesome Tractors. When they were made by Internation Harvester. Second only to John Deere. Once MTD got their mits on them. They were never the same.
I've had my LTX1045 for 13 years and while it still runs good and cuts good, I do believe it's time for a new Cub Cadet. Looking to buy an XT1 46" 22 HP next season because while I like John Deer, the repair parts are expensive. I don't love my CC but I do enjoy it quite a bit.
Boy how your experience shows! Now, I have to do the same on my Cub Cadet but I sure as heck won't make a video and post it on the Tube. Plus my video would run 10 hours compared with less than an hour for yours. Peace brother.,
Tom I have a Cub Cadet 30 inch and I sold to my neighbor and he said it would not go into reverse or forward, but he it finally went in gear. I’ve only had it for about 3 years with very little cutting time. Can it be a similar problem?
