I swear, engineers PURPOSELY make things difficult so the average consumer HAS TO take their equipment to a shop specific to the manufaturer. Tom I would recommend getting tested for different grass and weeds allergies! My daughter loved mowing our yard and cleaning the mower off afterwards. She also sneezed and sniffled all evening and night after doing the yard. We took her to our family Dr’s office and sent her for allergy testing come to find out she is allergic to grass and hay!!
about 15 years ago i had an allergy test where they prick both your upper arms all over, he said i tested allergic to everything they tested me for hahaha, i was doing the allergy shots twice a week but the insurance company started wanting a 25 dollar co-pay every time i got them, so i said to heck with it and quit haha
What size is the correct deck belt?. I know 174883 is the OEM part. However, I cannot find one that I can get back on. The one I got from Amazon is 97.4 long and .65 width. It is too short to make back on the clutch pulley. I've tried everything I can to muscle it on there. I'm thinking a 98 in belt would slip on enough to spin it into the v grove.
Mine literally has angle iron all around the front pulley. Thanks engineers 😮. Imma have to lift the whole engine, or drop both from pulleys, to get the old off and new on.
That hood is the same one that I have on my craftsman gt tractor I've done a video on the replacement belts on my craftsman ys and.poulan XT mower I've got to replace the hydro transmission belt for the GT tractor I'm going to use the kevlar style of belt
Ain't it amazing how the engineers take more care in how a plug connector won't detach, then they do about the importance of how the crucial parts of the mower is designed... 3 tools to disconnect a wire connection..2 pliers and a screw driver. I think they need to go back to engineering school 😅
