exactly why when ever i use my pressure washer, which isn't often I always drain the gas out of it and store dry. actually the one I have somebody threw out and I fixed it , all that was wrong was a nut fell into the carb and blocked the choke from setting. and somebody threw it out just for that. Engine on Mine is a Kohler.

When I have a needle like that I run it through the ultrasonic cleaner

Are they a pain to setup?
Are they heavy to unload?
