Hello Tom just wondering use an axillary fuel tank just to start the generator this way you don't have to drain the big tank.

I was doing a Ariens 24" snow blower at a customer's home, had the exact same carb on it, easy to clean, reminds me of a Kohler all day.

Pipe foam is good for other uses. I put strips on my snow blower auger and drive leavers for insulation . Keeps hands and fingers warmer. Also put the foam insulation on a broom handle I use to brush off the snow. Good videos - keep them coming.

Great idea, going to try it on my grandsons stinky feet😂. Hey Tom instead of opening the plastic tie bags on top just slice a small,opening in the middle of the bag this way you pull one out at a time I usually put a piece of duct tape before I slice it. Let’s see some 2 cycle repairs👍

As Fatbot.25 mentioned, you cannot spin the motor fast enough with a pull rope to get an accurate compression reading. The broken gauge demonstrated an increase in pressure because it had a very short hose - less volume to fill on four pulls of a start rope. Again....spin that motor with a drill or an impact, and check it using a hose WITH a Schrader valve. All that other dinking around is a waste of time. Great video, though !!! I'm studying these push mower videos, because I have a dormant push mower, that I need to resurrect, before spring. I've already brought back to life: a 2146 Cub rider, a "Crapsman" leaf blower, a "Crapsman" edger, and a Homelite clutchless string trimmer (a whippy snipper, as the Brits call it).

You can calibrate that gauge that reads 20 psi. You will have to take it apart, to do so.

Tom, Tommy over at Tommy-Time successfully uses blue painter tape on the air canal at the back of the primer type backing plate to seal it up and then of course puts a gasket in place too. I've had some luck putting quarter size washers on each side of the front of the backing plate intake hole. The washers will flatten out even distorted backing plates besides sealing the backing plate against the carburetor. Good video.

do you see how the front drive wheels are worn down to no treads, no traction? What can be done about that? do you have to buy a whole new wheel? can the current tire be re-grooved to give traction? or can the wheel be re-wrapped with a new tire?

You might as well put a new RJ19LM in it. Any small engine guy worth his salt has a thousand of those things lying around anyway, lol. That was the first thing I started buying in bulk.
