I needed to get to the solenoid on mine. The layout is a little different. Your "plastic removal " part was awsome. I had never done that. Thank You. Your video was very thorough.

Too many winters with out the care you described so my battery had to be replaced. Very helpful video, with all your extra work we could see the whole process, thank you.

I love my little Cub. What I decided to do for a battery change is not take off the seat or plastic. I used a wrench extension to remove the hold-down top bracket from the battery. I had to prop up the plastic with a piece of board to get to it. After putting in the new battery I decided to leave the top bracket off cause it's such a pain to get off. Instead I secured the new battery with heavy duty zip ties. Next battery change will be so much easier.

I've had my CC30H for three years and I remove the battery before Winter. Do it without taking the covers off.
The oil drain and fill are poorly designed. I got a drain valve that helps a bit. You have to add the fresh oil SLOWLY or it overflows. Other than that, I'm happy with the machine.

Can I use the Lowes Magna Power Pro lead acid battery on my Cub Cadet to replace the original equipment AGM battery. Will it fit in the battery casing?

Nice video. My cc30h will start but only runs for five minutes then it sputters a lot and finally shuts off. Ive checked the cutoff switches which seem to be working ok. My guess is a plugged gas filter or a dirty carburator. Its gotten worse over the last few lawn cuts Repair shol says I got a five week wait. Ill try a new gas filter, drain old has,and drains the carb bowl.I hope this works. The cc30 is five years old. Anybody out there venture a guess whats causing my mower to shut off?

You don’t have to remove any of the plastic body parts to remove and replace the battery.

Wait, I've never taken apart the covers. Just unbolt negative, unbolt positive tilt slightly, lift out. Done. No need to remove covers.

Thanks for the feedback, I did state in the video, you could just simply remove the battery without removing any panels. I make videos for all skill sets so many times I remove panels for a better vantage point and take my time to show how to do a job based on if you need quick info or if you have never done this type of job before.

Why did you go thru all that work? I changed my battery without removing anything on my CC30H

Thanks for the comment, I did state in the video that you could just reach down under the plastic cover and replace the battery where it is mounted. I took it apart to get a better vantage point and just how to access other components.

Exactly 😂 I'd do all that work if I'd lost my marbles.
Got 5 years out of original battery using a battery tender...can't wait to put the new one in...hope it's as easy going in !

He clearly stated in the video that he went the extra mile to remove those parts simply to make things easier to view for his audience. Nice job video creator and thank you for this video.
