I think your right about moving esc’s back on the tray for more wire management room, or resolder cat packs closer to esc.. Can’t wait for the maiden run on this beautiful carbon cheetah! BG4L! 🚤 💦

You COULD try 4 3s packs, down in the sponsons...
It worked well on the mg36.
Just need a 4-2 X splitter.
Use foam noodles cut down to fit as battery blocks.
Get the packs off that center rack, though.
That makes for a high COG.

Maybe try turning the esc to where the wire come out towards the front of the boat
Ose sells a dual pickup tfl rudder that fits that stock bracket. But you may end up wanting a longer rudder setback as well
Could flip the esc’s 180 degrees if you wanted
Im personally burned out on electric. I want to see more gas and nitro. Its hard to go back to FE once you port a few engines and lap a 48" hydro at 80mph for 10 straight minutes.
Except 80 mph is about what 4s p limited 34" boats run now, lol. Gas isn't that exciting but a fun change from FE.
@@garrettkifer8332 its exciting when you run on courses and go for lap times instead of a straight line GPS speed. There's so much more tinkering going on with gas and the infinite porting methods you can do. Gas smokes FE in the same size hull. run a 48" gas vs a 48" electric on 8s. Gas boat laps it.

@@garrettkifer8332 lmao. I have a 12s sprint cat with a TP 5670. I have a sprint cat with a 26cc promod. There is no comparison the gas boat is 8mph faster.
my club hosts the IMPBA oval time trials. Ive got videos of all the Q hydro, P hydro, nitro, and gas records going back 10 years. Gas sport hydro at high 7 second a laps. I have the record holding P hydro at 10.53 seconds a lap. I got the nitro guys doing 2 laps in 15.125 seconds. The Q record at 16.34 2 laps. Its all online but I can link it here.
you might be fooling with stock engine gas boats or something if you think they arent faster size for size. It takes like 8000-9000w or so to keep up with a prodmod gas boat.
