    I LOVE this!! Thank you so much for being your authentic self and being so real with eating habits. I constantly struggle with “what’s the right thing to do?” Skip breakfast, eat an egg, or eat the donuts” it’s freaking exhausting and I am over it! I’ve been looking for a way to enjoy the foods I like and release the guilt. I’m so tired of thinking about food all of the time when I really just want to relax, wear jeans I am confident in and enjoy my kids when they are little! I just really appreciate you and I can see that others do too. Thank you and keep at it!

    I’m so confused! So I can eat what ever I want, eat breakfast lunch and dinner. Just eat it because I want it…ummm that’s why people are fat. Fast some days not others. Take ketones but not be trying to live a Keto lifestyle. (Cause Keto is not good anymore).
    I get this is your journey but if you are promoting weight loss products you need to understand how confusing this message was!

      Its all about the calorie deficit as I mention here! it isn't about eating as much as you want its about eating whatever you want to create that balance! As long as energy balance is the same all studies show fat loss is the same across the board regardless of diet or lifestyle choice! fasting included! but fasting makes it easier to stay in the right amount of food range! Food freedom and flexibility isn't about eating constantly all the time, I pointed out in this video, its hard to clarify this message but thank you for pointing out I need to be clearer in my delivery!!! Appreciate you! :)

      Please explain this because I thought you were eating plant based for your micro biome gut on your feast days? And if your not doing keto what is the ketones for and do you only take those on feast or fast days? Sorry this video lost me!

    I have followed you for years, and I was very pleased to see you start talking about fasting, OMAD, and food freedom. I’ve been fasting for years now, and I truly believe it’s the most sustainable thing for me. I feel great when fasting and no guilt. I don’t ever feel like I’m “dieting”. Will continue to follow.

    18:6 mostly 2 meals....I also quit Keto and now its IF and no restrictions but of course I portion how much "sugary" foods I eat 4 lbs in two weeks and thats fine...slow and steady is the way to go!

    If you stopped Keto , why still drink the Keto drinks .if I fasted that long I'd eat way too much .I'd be starving .

      The ketones are not made specifically for the keto diet, they are however made so that you can feel the benefits of ketosis without the diet! many people who follow keto use the ketones as it enhances that lifestyle but it also enhances any lifestyle! They are especially beneficial for fasting purposes! I use the liquid ones since they do not contain sodium and they are a new technology that provides the benefits instantly. Using supplements as a tool for sure help alot for me, and I thought the same as you as I used to struggle with binging a long time ago and I thought fasting might trigger that, however, because I am able to eat until full I haven't had this happen to me at all! we are all different though and starting with smaller fasting windows is probably the best way to navigate that!

      Yes it depends on the goal of the fast and the person!! Some people find it helps them stay fasted longer and some people find it makes fasting harder! it all depends on how you feel when you consume something fasted :)

    I just started trying to do OMAD and I don’t feel restricted or as snacky as I was! Only
    Thing I do notice is when I do have my one meal I feel full very quickly where I’m probably not getting all the calories I should, does that happen with you?

      It did for me too at first. But it will get better. I found eating slow and drinking at the end of my meal helped

    It's amazing how using only 25 calories of half & half in you coffee triggers that insulin and a couple hours later here comes the hunger.

    I just wanted to say I’ve been spending my day so far watching your videos and truly enjoying them as well as learning a lot! I think of all of these types of videos, you’re probably the closest to having found a perfect balance for optimal health, enjoyment of life, while still losing excess weight or maintaining a healthy weight. I’m definitely going to use your advice and videos as inspiration to help lose the 30 stubborn pounds I need to lose. It’s not only about appearance. I’m actually quite sick with Hashimoto’s (which makes weight loss close to impossible) and fatty liver disease from the excess weight all being around my stomach. My micro biome is all messed up from the stomach issues related to Hashimoto’s as well. So your videos seem to be exactly what I need!

    I had to learn the coffee thing the hard way but once I did figured it out I have less and less hunger pangs.I recently started doing adf, struggled the first week but it's getting easier

    Can i ask you for Support? I got stomach and reflux Problems since fasting and a not so healthy relationship with fpod . I fast every day 15 Hours and how do xou eat enough calories in that meal without Feeling bad afterwards? Lovely greetz laria

      Hey Laria! if you enter food into an app for a little while you will see that within that meal you are eating enough etc, at least that helped me, i try to stay above 1,300 calories to protect my metabolic rate while in a deficit. some days I eat way more like 2,500 calories and some days less etc. I dont usually eat the same thing every day. and for your reflux, this started after beginning fasting? and what is the unhealthy relationship with food you are talking about?

    One question I had was, I work a very demanding job I work at FedEx so it's a fast pace and physical. How does intermittently fasting work? I burn over 3,000 Calories and 20,000 steps. So I'm hungry .. I practically feel like I'm starving after work

    I really like your version of IF. I usually do 20/4 and have restricted my food which I find frustrating. I’ve been doing it for 5 weeks now.
    I’m 67 and know I have to do,something about my health. I am enjoying IF. I was on Keto for 6 months last year and didn’t like it as I’m not a huge fan of meat. I did the Medical Medium the year before which didn’t bode me well though I did lose weight on both these diets.
    No-one believes that I am 67 so something has been working for me with Keto and Medical Medium. Now that I am embracing IF and since watching you I am going to eat more carbs because being Italian I love my pasta which I will have once a week.
    You have inspired me. I’ve been doing so much research on IF and have bought books that it has been doing my head in with all the food restrictions and different advice.
    Will now also change it up a bit too as I think I’ve been starving myself too much. Some,days I feel light headed so now when I do I will eat something but stay focussed on at least doing OMAD 5 days a week. Be more relaxed on the weekend. ❤🌻🇦🇺

    Aaah this makes sense to me - I was insulin resistant for over 2 decades trying to eat at least 2 meals a day, now as a diabetic I have had to train myself to eat 3 days a day and I HATE it - I have put on weight and find it impossible to follow a diet. I am still insulin resistant so my diabetic meds and injectable insulin is in high doses. When I was younger pre taking insulin I ate once a day and kept my weight stable. Eating 3 times a day I feel that I have ruined my health. I am dairy free so I drink lemon tea, water and black coffee as a norm. 2 weeks ago I tried intermittent fasting and it was hard - last week I went OMAD for 2 days - no issues at all, no hunger or bloating and my blood sugars were amazing - still took my insulin though. This week I am doing OMAD for 3 days a week interspersed with "normal eating" days. Next week I will do 4 days as long as my blood sugars are happy and will work up to 6 days a week. I had my bloods taken before starting this and will have my bloods done again at 4 weeks, then 4 weeks later - hopefully I will be lighter and my bloods will be better as well.     Does the ketones break your fast? I knew you were going to be hungrier after drinking the coffee.. I’m struggling because I’m a nurse and I love and need my coffee in the morning.. I only use half/ half but it breaks the fast..I’d love to love the iced coffee but I like hot coffee and your right it’s gross. I was even thinking about stopping the coffee all together but it’s an instant migraine every time I try…

    Yes I agree if I add anything to my coffee it triggers my eating and can makes me hangry, even things like diet Snapple or seltzer waters. I try to drink them before my eating window starts

      Its been so good! I have maintained my loss without the yo-yo or fluctuations and have never been so weight stable ever which was my goal! I lost a lot very fast and so stabilizing and getting a new baseline is important before pushing for another body fat goal, I have a vacation coming up so my goal for that is to maintain that week and then when I get home I will work on my next level, I started at 171 and now I am 147 to 150 depending on the day and its been stable for months (I dont consider myself in a plateau because It was my goal to hit this and stay here for a while and then I will work on the next 5-10 lbs which I am actually feeling pretty good exactly where I am so im not in a rush, my lifestyle is easy to maintain here if that makes sense.

    What's half n half? Is it milk? That wld affect your digestion. But cream is cool for autophagy, doesn't affect ketones, helps a lot. Wonderful to see how good you look and all that delicious food. I think you're eating well . I do question syrups etc if you want autophagy but the proof is in the pudding .. you're going great.

      Within one hour of eating so by the time the food came to the time I got home which we take the golf cart to lunch it’s right in my neighborhood, if It’s still within the hour eating window I’ll have the desert etc, but I also could do without it and I never rush lunch at all! It just happens or it doesn’t!

    I used to do intermittent fasting before I had kids, but have only just started doing it again now that my youngest is 1.5yr. I’m having such a hard time giving up my creamy comforting morning coffee. But I know it’s breaking my fast.

    Glad I found your channel. Im on day 7 and I have only lost 4 lbs. My weight has remained the same for the last 2 days. My goal is to lose 20 pounds. I have not cheated and I drink plenty of Alkaline water. I have always been active and fit but menopause and a broken leg has me 20 pounds heavier then what I’m usually us. I know I need to stop weighing myself because I felt defeated this morning after I saw the scale didn’t move. I do workout out every day in a fasting state u just can’t understand why I’m only 4 pounds down when I have worked so hard. And I don’t do coffee whatsoever only water.

      I've been doing oh mad for 6 years now I went from 135 lb down to 100 lb. When I started going through menopause I have put on 10 lb. I'm trying to figure out what I can do now to lose it because I've been doing OMAD for so long I don't know what else to do.

    That’s why Gin Stephen’s says clean fast only! I have no issue with black coffee. However, I like flavored black coffee like caramel, which she also says not to do 😢

    Iced black coffee is soooo much easier to get down. Black coffee tastes like the devil to me. So icing it is way better! Definitely helps curb my hunger, too. I can't imagine fasting without it

    The yacon syrup wont break a fast? How much can you use in coffee?

      1 tsp is 7 calories and its basically all soluble fiber, so it wont, but use a small amount bc with any fiber it can cause stomach pain etc. you know what I mean!

    So keto ain’t good for long term noted is it bad for everybody to stay keto long term? Or was it’s just something you was going through?

      Everybody is different! However the more research ive done into this and the more people have been coming to me to tell me they have experienced the same issues long term, I think its something to consider.

    Another test for me was having a colonoscopy. I could not believe how good I felt. You have not eaten and cleaned yourself out. It's amazing!

    I am new to OMAD/2MAD… I have cut out one meal but still drink my coffee in the morning with unsweetened almond milk & monk fruit. Do you think that little bit of calories will throw off the benefits of what fasting does?

      If it helps you with fasting it’s ok! If it makes you hungry after drinking then I would cut it out :)

      Collagen supplement won't break you're fast,, no supplements would break your fast.they contain no calories except the gummies but even then its just around 5 calories which would not kick you out of a fast xx

      You will need to see how you feel when you use them fasted! I personally save collagen to my eating window but this is a personal choice!!! Feel yourself out, try it fasted and if you dont feel any different then its probably fine, if it makes you hungry you know your answer.

    I agree with you in every way regarding this video. After intermittent fasting for a while, you must have your sweet cravings filled. Don't deny yourself, just wait until your eating window opens and enjoy. I'm enjoying one Cadbury egg a day. Yum

    Not a personal attack or anything, but I have a bit of an issue with some of the messaging here. Not everyone should eat whatever they want because of obvious reasons, including autoimmune and metabolic conditions. Sadly, not everyone can follow a "balanced" diet and maintain optimal health.

      I understand this point of view. However if somebody is dealing with autoimmune or another condition, then it would be beneficial for them to look into WHY, rather than chasing symptoms or catering to a “problem “ I’m not suggesting just eat rubbish, but so many people are now avoiding foods because of a condition. It’s the approach that needs to change. And most people don’t like this butttt working on the nervous system can aid with digestion also. Being gluten or dairy free can free you temporarily from some pain but it’s not the solution. Sorry folks. I know this pisses some people off x
