Well done Don, very informative and full of valuable tips. I'm doing the same with an XJS 4HU Power Lock, for a Cobra 289 Build in Scotland, UK. on another note: - I'd be interested to know your recommendations for impact drivers??
Love your show Don....can you answer a question for me please?....I know you're a cobra guy....but seeing you working on the jaguar type differential.... maybe, just maybe you have some experience with this. I'm need to change out the pumpkin on my 97...XJ6/300/40. Do you know if I can just change out the pumpkin...or do I need to pull down and remove the entire rear end, suspension and everything? Thanks for your help....and I appreciate you good program
Nicely done, easy to follow and well explained.
I recently did this using these part numbers for an 83 rear end, everything good but pinion seal, needed cr 15788 instead of national 5778
You can use a standard d44 pinion shim kit on that pinion and lose the crush collar.
Great video, very good tips throughout, thank you.

So, does this require the dana pinion or can the salsbury one be reused (keeping the original ring gear)??
