Leche Flan Donuts

- This version of the donut originated in Kora’s in New York by a Filipino-American who turned to making her lola’s donuts during the covid pandemic. She operated with a small kitchen and staff so you need to pre order her donuts. At it’s peak, the waiting time was like a week. Anyway, aside from leche flan donuts, she also had maja mais donuts, sans rival donuts and other Filipino-inspired donuts. The leche flan donut is my favorite since I love leche flan. There is one step that Kora’s make that I did not do in this tutorial and that is to add the caramel and the left over leche flan to whipped cream and to put them on the donut before you put in the leche flan. I felt that I had enough sugar 😊

Yes you can but there will be a difference in the taste and flavor.
Instant egg for eggless what we have to add
The donut can be made without an egg. Just add equivalent amount of water. Leche flan cannot be made without eggs. I hope I was able to answer your question.
